Mr. Febec lived in Munroe Falls, Ohio, after moving from Pennsylvania.
He was a retired lead mechanic from US Airways and a US Navy veteran of World War II. He and enjoyed playing bridge and bowling.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bill, and sister-in-law, Millie Fabec.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ann; daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Beth Reynolds and Ron Lombardo of Munroe Falls; son and daughter-in-law, Richard II and Sonya Fabec of Illinois; daughter, Michaelle Fabec of Akron; five grandchildren; sister, Jennie Miller of Tucson, Ariz, ; brother and sister-in-law, Alfred and Teddi Fabec of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. William Schukay, Dr. James Bressi and nurses Joan Fedak and Julie Berlyak for their wonderful care and concern.
Friends were received at Redmon Funeral Home, where the Rev. Dr. John Luoma conducted services. Burial was at Stow Cemetery.

Mary Meyer, 88, a Coraopolis resident until 1975 and formerly a resident at the Marian Hall Home, died Oct. 11, 2000 at Mariner Health Care Center at West Hills, Moon Township.
She was born on Sept. 30, 1912 in Pittsburgh to the late Charles and Anna (Schultz) Meyer.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Coraopolis and retired as a supervisor from AT & T Phone Co. in 1977 after 60 years of service. She also was a member of AT & T Pioneers.
She is survived by her sister, Hilda Barcaskey of Moon Township, and by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was private. Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Catherine's Church, Wireton, Pa.

Edmund Miskiel, 73, of Moon Township for the past 29 years, died Oct. 7 at his residence.
He was born in Ashley, Pa. on Feb. 6, 1927 to the late Victor and Sophie (Pohepic) Miskiel.
Mr. Miskiel was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church, the American Legion Post 924 and the Coraopolis Knights of Columbus.
In 1985, he retired from Eastern Airlines where he had been ramp agent for 34 years.
His hobby was model trains. He served as sergeant in the Army Air Corp. during WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Norma; his five children and their spouses, Sandra Brocco and husband Joseph of Moon Township, Michael Miskiel and wife Lori of Sewickley, Kathleen Fleet and husband Ronald of Coraopolis, David Miskiel and wife Susan of Virginia Beach, Va., Dina Merow and husband William of Moon; and one sister, Mary Miskiel of Nanticoke, Pa. He also is survived by 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at Copeland's Moon Township Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Road. Funeral Mass was held in St. Margaret Mary Church. Officiating was the Rev. John Ayoob. Burial followed in Resurrection Cemetery.
Pasquale (Patsy) Santeufemia, 79, of Moon Township died peacefully in his home Wednesday, Oct. 25.
He was born Dec. 20, 1921 in Italy, a son of the late Salvatore and Rita (DiCicco) Santeufima.
Mr. Santeufemia was retired as a railroad worker for Aliquippa and Southern Railroad. He was a veteran of the Italian Army World War II and a member of St. Margaret Mary Church in Moon.
He is survived by his wife, Marla (Pacella) Santeufemia; children Samuel and his wife Cherly; Joseph and Virginia Santeufemia; four sisters, Adelina, Yolanda, Maria and Laurina; two brothers, Attilio and Peppino; and one granddaughter, Shelley Santeufemia-Liller.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Antonio.
Friends were received at Copeland's Moon Township Funeral Home. Funeral mass was held at St. Margaret Mary Church, with Father John Ayoob officiating. Burial followed din Resurrection Cemetery.

James Weber, 49, a life-long resident of Neville Island, died Oct. 16, 2000 at his residence. He was born in Sewickley on Oct. 22, 1950, a son of the late Louis and Margaret Gorby Selzer Weber.
Mr. Weber was employed by Medical Marketing Management Co. and was a member of the Coraopolis Sportsman Club.
He is survived by his brother, Archie Weber of Neville, and by friends, Darlene, Darryl and David Gifford, formerly of Glenfield. He also is survived by several aunts and uncles - Rose Charlton of Neville; Ed and Kay Marxen, Carnegie; Theresa Ford, Irwin; Steve Weber of Glenfield; Ross and Margaret Vandervot, Coraopolis; Ethel Gibson of East Palestine, Ohio; and Ray and Dorothy Musser of East Palestine, Ohio.
Visitation was held at Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home, where services were held with the Rev. Richard Anderson officiating. Burial followed in Coraopolis Cemetery.
Chester Casasanta, 79, a life-long resident of Coraopolis, died Sept. 22, 2000 in Sewickley Valley Hospital.
He was born on Aug. 8, 1921 in Sewickley and was a high lift operator for Valve Co.
He was a member of St. Joseph Church; was an Army staff sergeant in World War II; and was a member of McKees Rocks Elk and Coraopolis VFW.
He is survived by: his daughter, Donna Lee Burassa of Michigan; son Chester Casasanta of Coraopolis; sisters, Lillian Sommers of McKees Rocks, Yolanda Roncone of Coraopolis, Doris Harvard of New Orleans, Elma Bafile of Florida, Lorraine Peppers of Michigan and Diana Brosie of Coraopolis; brothers Roland Casasanta and Oliver Casasanta, both of Coraopolis; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Casasanta was preceded in death by his wife Mary Casasanta.
Memorial Mass was held at St. Joseph's Church with the Rev. Malcolm McDonald officiating. Funeral arrangements were made by Anthony J. Sanvito, Inc. Funeral Home, Coraopolis.
Rose Marie (Cuccaro) Cook, 75, of Stowe Township, formerly of Norwood, died Sept, 28, 2000 in Mariner Health Care Center of West Hills.
She was born in McKees Rocks on Sept. 19, 1925, a daughter of the late Guiseppi and Maria Volicando Cuccao.
She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and the AARP in McKees Rocks. She retired in 1982 from the meat department in both the Thorofare, (32 years) and Shop & Save (four years) in Kennedy Township.
She is survived by her two children, Mary Rose Gettel of Stowe and William Cook of Crescent Township, and also five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, William Cook, in 1980; her three sisters, Ann Pitano, Theresa Cippola and Angie Kobet; and her four brothers, Leonard, Domenic, Lewis and Albert Cuccaro.
Visitation was held at Copeland's Moon Township Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Road. Funeral services were held in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, McKees Rocks, with the Rev. Richard Schoenleber officiating.
Burial followed in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
Patricia Zaronsky Hill, 91, of Neville Island for the past 15 years and formerly of Findlay Township, died Sept. 18, 2000 in Sewickley Valley Hospital.
She was born in Pittsburgh on Aug. 16, 1909, a daughter of the late John and Victoria (Katausky) Zaronsky.
Mrs. Hill as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her daughter, Trudy Nesbitt of Neville Island, with whom she made her home; two grandsons, Ronald and Walter Nesbitt; three great-grandchildren, Bryan, Marsha and Bobby; great-great-granddaughter Kaitlyn; and sister, Helen Holloway of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hill, and a brother.
Visitation was held at Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home, where funeral services were held with the Rev. Harold Byers officiating.
Burial was private.
Julius Incorvati, 90, a 70-year resident of Robinson Township, died Sept. 24, 2000 in Sewickley Valley Hospital.
He was born on Dec. 20, 1909 in Bugnara, Province of L'Aqui, Italy.
He worked at Hostler-P&LE Railroad and was a member of St. Joseph Church. He was a World War II army veteran.
He is survived by: his wife, Connie Chirichetti; children, Thomas and his wife Patricia of Moon Township, and Phil Padak and her husband Michael of Economy Borough; and grandchildren, Kevin and Jared Incorvati and Greg and Julianne Padak.
Visitation was held at Anthony J. Sanvito, Inc. Funeral Home, Coraopolis. Services were held at St. Joseph Church with the Rev. Malcolm McDonald officiating. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery.
Hazel (Easton) Krull, 76, a resident of Neville Island for 55 years, died Sept. 16, 2000 in Las Vegas, Nev., where she has lived for 22 years.
She was born on March 4, 1923 on Neville Island.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Snyder; her grandchildren, Vicky Snyder and Harry Snyder; her great-grandchildren, Melanie, Megan and Michelle; her sister, Dorothy (Easton) Frischman; and brothers, Noel Easton and Albert Easton.
