Ann C. Sullivan, 77, of Washington, Pa., died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000, in the Humbert Lane Health Care Center in Washington, Pa., following a one year illness. She was born Feb. 28, 1922, in Sioux City, Iowa, a daughter of Leo D. and Emma Lonergan Sullivan. She had been employed for more than 52 years with Jessup Steel Corp. and had served as assistant treasurer. She was a graduate of Monongahela High School and Penn Commercial Business School. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Nemacolin Country Club. She was an avid golfer, winning awards at both Washington Country Club and Nemacolin Country Club. Survived by a sister-in-law and caregiver, Rose Marie Sullivan of Washington, Pa.; a brother, Leo D. Sullivan of Seabrook, Md.; and a sister, Mary Couchenour of Greensburg; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Philip "Jack" Sullivan. JOANN (KWASNIEWSKI) WOODY
Joann "Lena" (Kwasniewski) Woody, 92, formerly of West Wilmerding (North Versailles Township), died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000. Daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Mahaj) Kwasniewski. Wife of the late Ronald J. Woody Sr. Beloved mother of Jacqueline Gobao, Ronald J. (Mary) Woody Jr., Margaret "Peggy" (late Dennis) Germanowski, Sister Barbara "Bobbie" Woody, Ph.D., O.S.F., and James A. (Janet) Woody. Eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Sister of Mary Schake, Josephine Tomasic and the late Gladys Carach, Stella Vaughn, Alex and Watson Sauers. Also several nieces and nephews. Friends received at the ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. and Saturday up until the time of the service in the funeral home at noon, followed by Mass in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 12:30 p.m.
JOSEPH MICHAEL COLCLASER
Joseph Michael Colclaser, 86, of Wall, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000. Beloved husband of Rita M. (Ponitz) Colclaser. Dear father of Joseph Michael Colclaser of Seaville, N.J. Also numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his infant children, Suzanne and Charles Daniel Colclaser; his parents, Daniel and Catherine "Kate" (Stack) Colclaser; sisters, Helen Blough, Cath Slater-Keller and Mary Kertes; and brothers, Dan "Dutes" and John Colclaser. Friends will be received at the ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Jude the Apostle Church Monday at 11 a.m. Mr. Colclaser was a sandlot baseball player in the 1930s. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, and he had retired from the Port Authority.
ROBERT L. LOVELL
Robert L. Lovell, 74, of Boswell, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000, in Latrobe Area Hospital. Born in Blandburg, Pa., June 29, 1925, he was a son of the late Raymond and Mabel Schell Lovell. He was a retired chemical engineer for the Koppers Co., Verona. A World War II veteran, he served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Trout Unlimited. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth P. Greskevich Lovell; a son, Bob Lovell and his wife, Patti, of Laurys Station, Pa.; two daughters, Patti Schildkamp and her husband, Joe, of Greensburg and Cindy Lavage and her husband, Bill, of Danville; a brother, Alan Lovell; a sister, Doris Mann; six grandchildren, Corey and Katie Schildkamp, Aaron and Danny Lavage, and Kristin and Kurtis Lovell; and a number of nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitations. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Robert L. JUDY DULEMBA MAZZONI
Judy Dulemba Mazzoni, 75, of Salemville, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000, in her residence. She was born Jan. 22, 1925, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Joseph and Stella Gill Dulemba. She was a franchise owner with H&R Block for 20 years. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church of New Alexandria, where she belonged to the Rosary Altar Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her husband, Michael Mazzoni; three sons, Carmen and wife, Karen, and Francis and wife, Terry, all of Salemville, and Edward and wife, Susan, of Latrobe; a daughter, Michelle Pennesi and husband, Rick, of Latrobe; three sisters, Rose Dofka of West Virginia, Josephine Christopher of Grove City and Evelyn Henry of Michigan; two brothers, Paul and Edward Dulemba, both of Amherst, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington streets, New Alexandria. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in New Alexandria with the Rev. Father Lawrence T. Persico as celebrant. Elizabeth "Betty" Waldron Meyers, of North Braddock, on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000. Loving wife of Robert J. Meyers Jr. Wonderful mother of seven children, Robert III, Kathleen Navaro, John J., Garry, Dennis, Debbie and Craig Meyers. Sister of Madeline Fetsick, Bernice McConnell, Russell and Joseph Waldron. Bernice L. Moisey, 78, of Glassport, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, in Jefferson Hospital. Born March 16, 1921, in Arcadia, her parents were the late George and Louise Klimek. She was a retired self-employed beautician. A member of Queen of the Rosary Parish, Glassport. She was the wife of the late John F. Moisey. Surviving are three sons, J. Leonard of Pittsburgh, Robert J. of Jeannette and Lawrence G. of North Huntingdon; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Sister of Virginia Dudrewich of Dearborn, Mich., Helen Vranka of Glassport, John Klimek of Detroit, Mich., and Lou Klimek of South Bend, Ind. Also nieces and nephews. Catherine "Kay" Viale, 92, of Rostraver Township, Belle Vernon, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, in Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. She was born in Whitsett, Nov. 12, 1907, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Marie Valari. Mrs. Viale was a homemaker. She was a member of the Olive Branch Baptist Church in Rostraver Township and a member of the What So Ever Class and the Missionary Society of the church. She was the last surviving member of a family of 13 children. She is survived by her son, Ben N. Viale of Belle Vernon; daughter, Mrs. Charles (Paula) Carey of Belle Vernon; four grandchildren, Marsha Bauer and her husband, Timothy, Tracy Gianakos and her husband, George, David Viale and his wife, Apryl, and Brian Carey; and a great-grandson, Michael Gianakos. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Viale, on Dec. 27, 1986. JAMES O. PORTER
James O. Porter, 80, of Rostraver Township, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, in Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh. Born in Rostraver Township, Jan. 13, 1920, he was a son of the late Oliver and Alvina (Danielson) Porter. Mr. Porter was a retired school teacher for the Belle Vernon Area School District. He was a member of the Olive Branch Baptist Church in Rostraver Township, where he served as treasurer for 45 years and taught Sunday school for many years. He was the president of the Westmoreland South Camp of Gideon International. He was a meteorologist for the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He is survived by his wife, T. Gail (Boyd) Porter; two brothers, Dr. J. Wayne Porter of Colorado Springs, Colo., and John D. Porter of Rostraver Township; several nieces and nephews; and several grandnieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Sweeney Plan/Rostraver Township. JOHN STANKOVICH
John Stankovich, 69, of Elizabeth (Forward Township), died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000, in Jefferson Hospital, Jefferson Hills Borough. Born in Renton, June 9, 1930, he was a son of the late Sarah Evichak. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a production team member by MFD Pittsburgh (formerly Fisher Body). He was a Korean War veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Davis) Stankovich; three brothers, Steve Evichak and Mike Evichak, both of New Kensington, and Joseph Evichak of Kittanning; three sisters, Veronica LaBryer of Saltsburg, Betty Jacks of Penn Hills and Anna Hucknberry of New Kensington; five nieces; and five nephews. Friends will be received at the VINCENT V. RODGERS FUNERAL HOME, 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev.
