Shorthouse, Linda A. (Joe) Comunale and Michael Zoric. Grandmother of Joey and Lindsey Nelis and Trevor Shorthouse. Also numerous nieces and nephews. MARGARET M. RANDALL
Margaret M. Randall, 83, of Fairhope, Belle Vernon, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, in Mt. Macrina Manor. She was born Sept. 11, 1916, in Pricedale, a daughter of the late Luke and Kathryn Shaffer McDonough. She was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, Fayette City. She was predeceased by her husband, William Randall, on Jan. 11, 1984; a son, Joseph Randall; four brothers, Norbert, J. Paul, Daniel and Robert McDonough; and a sister, Marcella McDonough. Surviving are her stepmother, Mary McDonough of Fayette City; three sons, William L. Randall of Littleton, Colo., James R. Randall of England and Stephen R. Randall of Vienna, Va.; six daughters, Mary Kathryn Mannella of Charleroi, Anne Vargo of Rostraver Township, Sandra Fitzwater of Philadelphia, Margaret Alice Tatsch of Lorain, Ohio, Phyllis Stammitti of Akron, Ohio, and Virginia Randall of Maneto, N.C.; five brothers, Francis McDonough of Palm Bay, Fla., David McDonough and Michael McDonough of North Charleroi, Mark McDonough of Washington, Pa., and Thomas McDonough of Dunlevy; two sisters, Gertrude Heaton of Houston and Ruth Kobal of Fairhope. Also survived by 30 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Due to the flooding in Fayette City, friends will be received at the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, Sunday from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday until 9:30 a.m., when a blessing service will take place, followed by a Funeral Mass in the Holy Spirit R.C. Church, Fayette City, with the Rev. Father Leonard McAlpin as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Albert J. Zorzi, on Friday, Feb. 18, 2000. Beloved husband of the late Olga (March) Zorzi. Father of Mildred Unterberger. Brother of the late Harry Hatfield. THOMAS BRENNAN
Thomas Brennan, 78, of Las Vegas, Nev., died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000. He was born in Munhall, April 11, 1921. He was a retired mechanical engineer from Aerospace and was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in World War II. He was a member of the Elks and also had been a 27-year employee of Lockheed Missiles and Space. He lived in the Pittsburgh area for 34 years. Survived by his wife, Corrine Brennan; a daughter, Nora Tryon of Benicia, Calif.; a son, Dean Brennan of San Jose, Calif.; a sister, June Paddick of Torrance, Calif.; a brother, John Robert Brennan of Bullhead City, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation at PALM MORTUARY/CHEYENNE, Las Vegas, Nev., Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Service will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 1 p.m.

LOUIE B. GAY
Louie B. "Lou" Gay, 67, of Honeybrook, Pa., formerly of Harrison City, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000, at her home. She was the wife of Charles W. Gay, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage. Born in Vernon, Texas, Lou was the daughter of Franklin Earl and Vera Phillips Burleson. She earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of New Mexico in 1958. She was a founding member and one of the first EMT volunteers for Medic One in Murrysville. She made dollhouses and was a founding member of the Augusta, Ga., Miniature Society. As a member of the Westmoreland County Obedience Training Club, she started a pet therapy program with her golden retriever, Brandy. Mrs. Gay and her husband spent the last four years traveling throughout the world. One of her favorite trips was a river cruise last spring entitled "Holland in Bloom." In addition to her husband, Mrs. Gay is survived by a son, Bruce E. Gay of North Wales; a daughter, Valerie G. Bowe of Honeybrook; a sister, Linda Campbell of Pacific Grove, Calif.; and four grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to her memorial service at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, at the JAMES J. TERRY FUNERAL HOME, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 428 Exton Commons, Exton, PA 19341.

Joseph Hlava, 73, of Miramar, Fla., passed away Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000. He is survived by his loving children, son and daughter-in-law, Drew and Robin Hlava; daughter and son-in-law, Loree and Michael Gwatney; grandchildren, Michael, Tyler and Mason; and sisters, Shirley Michaels, Clara Shuster and Norma DeBois. Joseph W. Baumgartner Jr., 61, died Saturday, May 5, 2001, in UPMC Passavant. He was born in Pittsburgh on Aug. 18, 1939, son of the late Joseph W. and Marie Wild Baumgartner. Mr. Baumgartner worked in the auto sales business and was a member of St. Ferdinand Church, Cranberry. Survived by his wife, Carol Wolter Baumgartner; one daughter, Diane L. Kidd of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, Jeffrey J. Baumgartner of Tampa, Fla. and Joseph W. Baumgartner III of Franklin Park; two sisters, Patricia Mansfield of Shaler and Nancy Baumgartner of Mt. Washington; one brother, James Baumgartner of Ross; five grandchildren, Kelly Kidd, and Justin Joey Jeffrey and Emily Baumgartner; and an uncle, John Radack. James J. Botti

James J. Botti, 79, died Monday, May 7, 2001. Mr. Botti was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the American Legion. He was a retired employee of Westinghouse, East Pittsburgh Plant, with over 43 years of service. For many years, he was the fire chief of the Westinghouse Plant's volunteer fire department. He later was employed at Disaster Restoration Services in North Versailles for 11 years. Mr. Botti was an usher for St. Colman Church and a member of the Wilkins Township Senior Citizens. Husband of Louise A. (Ardisson) Botti; father of James J. Jr. of New York, Michael J. of Cranberry, Patricia L. Giles of Plum, William G. of Fairfield Twp., Debra Taylor Laird of Apollo and John J. of Harrison City; brother of Rose Callahan of Turtle Creek. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his brother, Michael Botti, and his sisters, Margaret Botti, Jean Choby and Josephine Griffin.
