Stephen L. Kossuth Jr., 59, of White Oak, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001, in his residence. He was born April 12, 1942, in McKeesport, the son of Stephen Sr. and Frances V. (Morris) Kossuth. Mr. Kossuth was a member of St. Angela Merici Church, White Oak. He was employed as a service manager at Mick's Dodge, McKees Rocks, and was a member of American Legion Post 701 and the Croatian Club, McKeesport. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Survivors include his wife, Stella A. (Pipp) Kossuth; two daughters, Sandra DiPerna of White Oak and Jeanette Judith McAdoo of Glassport; two sons, Stephen L. Kossuth Jr. of McKeesport and Shawn L. Kossuth of Irwin; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Smith of McKeesport, Lorraine Evans of Versailles Borough and Maryann Richard of Texas; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the WILLIG FUNERAL HOME, 220 Ninth Ave., McKeesport. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Angela Merici Church, White Oak, with the Rev. Stephen Chervenak as celebrant. Entombment in Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park. The American Legion will hold a service Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to a disaster relief fund.

Paul S. Miller, age 75, on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001. He was born April 6, 1926, in Pittsburgh, and was the son of the late Walter Conrad and Irene (Shields) Miller. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Beloved husband of Ruth J. (McConnell) Miller for 41 years. Dear father of Valerie Mannas of Evans City and Paige Miller of Richland. Also survived by one grandchild, Kyle Mannas of Evans City. Friends received Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, where services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Nancy Zahn of Valencia Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park. Mr. Miller was a member of the F&AM John E. Mair Lodge 729. He was formerly employed by Edgewater Steel and was also a Navy veteran of World War II. Memorial donations may be made to the building fund of Valencia Methodist Church.

Alice Alberta Piel, age 90, on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, in St. Margaret Seneca Place, Penn Hills. She was born Aug. 20, 1911, in Pittsburgh, daughter of William H. and Alice Belle Stewart Piel. Ms. Piel was a telephone operator with Jones and Laughlin Steel Co. in Pittsburgh. Survived by a brother, George A. Piel of Ross; two nieces, Nancy Taylor and Mary Alice McCluskey; and a nephew, William R. Piel. Preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William H. Piel II; and two sisters, Margaret McEntier and Marionetta Berry. No visitation. Private services. Private interment

Mrs. Reidenbach was a homemaker. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Norman A. Jr. and Peggy Reidenbach; sisters, Ruth Slanina, Wilma Hartman and Catherine Wolford; nieces and nephews. He was the beloved husband of Maria Giovanna (Moschella) Valotta; loving father of Joanna Marcello and Cathy Alexander, both of Morningside, Peter Valotta of Hampton and Ray Valotta of Verona; brother of Concetta Costa of Italy. William T. Wesolowski, 69, of Everson, died early Monday morning, Oct. 22, 2001, in Westmoreland Manor, Hempfield Township. He was born Jan. 8, 1932, in Everson, a son of the late Thomas J. and Pearl Yanos Wesolowski. Bill was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Everson, and a retired machinist for the former Robertshaw Controls, Youngwood, with 23 years of service. Bill was a social member of the Everson VFW Post and the Mt. Pleasant Firemen's Club. Bill is survived by his loving children: William T. Wesolowski Jr. of Everson, Christopher Wesolowski and his wife, Denise, of North Huntingdon, Keith Wesolowski and his wife, Tammy, of Scottdale and Timothy Wesolowski and his wife, Sandra, of Everson; a special friend, Dorothy Schwalke of Everson; 10 grandchildren, Deena, Anna, Christina, Keith, Sarah, Emma, Samuel, Courtney, Josh and Zach; a great-granddaughter, Anjelica; a brother, Walter Wesolowski and his wife, Violet, of Bessemer; and a sister, Anastasia Stashick and her husband, Victor, of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Brown Wesolowski, on Nov. 6, 1974; a son, Matthew Wesolowski, on Sept. 29, 1997; six brothers, Anthony, Leo, Charles, Frank, Edward and Victor; a sister, Mary Dzambo; and a daughter-in-law, Theresa Soforic Wesolowski, on May 30, 1994. Virginia Zupancic, 91, of Level Green, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, in her home. Born Nov. 30, 1909, she was a member of St. Barbara Church, Harrison City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Zupancic, in 1983. She is survived by a daughter, Virginia Gaul of McMurray; two sons, Joseph Paul Zupancic of Level Green and Lawrence J. Zupancic of Penn Twp.; a sister, Lucy Szelc of Shaler Twp.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Friends received in the JAMES E.
