Linda J. Barnes, 54, of Melcroft, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2001, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the CLYDE BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., Route 711, Melcroft, where a service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. John George officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Saltlick Township.

William B. Boyle Sr.

William B. Boyle Sr., on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2001. Husband of Alice Crawford Boyle. Father of William B. Jr. (Cathleen), James P. (Patricia), Timothy W., Terence J. (Judy), Marianne (Rick) Staley and Richard P. (Lynne) Boyle. Son of the late Agnes and Patrick Boyle. Brother of Paul Boyle, Jean Becker, Thomas, the Rev. Robert Boyle, Margie Studnicki, James Boyle, and the late Agnes, Joseph, Rocky, Knute, Raymond and Hank Boyle. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends received in the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, Tuesday and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Prayer Thursday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Norbert Church at 10 a.m.

William J. Brallier, 76, on Monday, Oct. 8, 2001. Mr. Brallier was a World War II veteran, serving on a P.T. boat in the Pacific Theater. He was former owner of Brallier Auto Repair Shop in Braddock and retired from the the General Service Department of Allegheny County. Husband of Nancy J. (McElroy) Brallier; father of Kerry Stafford and husband Marshall of Fox Chapel, and David J. and wife Jill of Forest Hills; brother of Betty Lloyd of Swissvale and the late Margaret Brallier; grandfather of Megan Stafford and Summer Brallier. Friends received Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, E. Pittsburgh (412-824-8800). Joseph F. "Blacky" Cersosimo Jr., 75, on Friday, Oct. 5, 2001. Husband of Kay Leone Cersosimo; father of Christine Cersosimo of McKees Rocks; stepfather of Kathy Leone and Tony Leone of McKees Rocks; brother of Marie LeDonne of Kennedy and the late Jack Cersosimo; also three grandchildren, David and James Grimm and Billie Hankel. Friends received Sunday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in the ANTHONY J. SANVITO INC. FUNERAL HOME, 1650 Broadway Ave., Stowe Twp., McKees Rocks (Family owned and operated since 1936.) Jenibe `Jean' Francis Miller Clawson
Formerly of Penn Hills and East Liberty
Jenibe "Jean" Francis Miller Clawson, 90, on Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, a resident of Jane Holmes Residence in Wilkinsburg, formerly of Penn Hills and East Liberty. She was born Sept. 30, 1911, in Buchannon, W.Va., daughter of Luther David and Norma Lee Crites Miller. Jean was the wife of the late Frederick M. Clawson for 53 years. Also preceded in death by five sisters, Amy, Vivian, Wilda, Mary and Sada; and one brother, Sterly A. Miller. Survived by one daughter, Norma J. Ivory and husband Harry of Verona; two sons, the Rev. David M. Clawson and wife Shirley of Gibsonia, and the Rev. Paul E. Clawson and wife Florence of Kenley, N.C.; one brother-in-law, the Rev. Alva A. Lynch of Missouri; nine grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a great number of nephews and nieces, most of whom she saw last summer. Mrs. Clawson was raised and educated in Buchannon, W.Va., before coming to Pittsburgh. She led a multi-faceted career in business and retailing, along with being a wife, mother and grandmother. Jean enjoyed being a good neighbor by sewing, cooking and reaching out to others through her church-oriented life. When she was in poor health in later years, she was able to have the tender loving care of Jane Holmes Residence. Visitation Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in NEELYS, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. Service Thursday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Jane Holmes Residence, 441 Swissvale Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15221.

Lily E. Coffman
White
Lily E. Coffman, 84, of White, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, in the Greensburg Care Center. She was born Dec. 5, 1916, in Acme, a daughter of the late Charles and Effie Stahl Keslar. She was a lifelong resident of the White area and attended the Buchanan Church of God. She is survived by two sons, James V. Coffman and his wife, Beverly A., and Beryl C. Coffman and his wife, Beverly J., all of White; five grandchildren, Joy Knepp and her husband, Gerald, of Bakersville, Fred Coffman and his wife, Ellen, of Sebastopol, Calif., EIaine White and her husband, Jeff, of Melcroft, Mandy Zimmerman of Bear Rocks and Tim Coffman and his wife, Leann, of White; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Loren Keslar and his wife, Estella, of Acme, Roy Keslar and his wife, Becky, and Vernon Keslar and his wife, Gladys, all of Donegal; and a sister, Daisy Menzie and her husband, Floyd, of Youngstown, Pa. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Vernon S. Coffman; a grandson, Robert J. Coffman; a sister, Susie Irwin; and four brothers, John, Paul, Charles and Ray Keslar. Family and friends will be received at the CLYDE BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., Route 711, Melcroft, Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Tim Beatty officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Eustey Cemetery, White.

Peter Paul Colinear
Larimer
Peter Paul Colinear, 92, of Larimer, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, in the Briarcliff Pavilion, North Huntingdon. He was born Sept. 12, 1909, in Rillton, a son of the late Nicholas and Jennie Perrino Colinear. Prior to retirement, he was a circuit breaker builder for Westinghouse Electric with over 40 years of service. He was a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Irwin. He was one of the founders, a past fire chief, trustee and honorary life member of the Larimer Volunteer Fire Department and a past member of the Westmoreland County Firemen's Association. He was an original member, and for 50 years served as a secretary of, the Larimer Buckhorn Club, Tidioute, where he enjoyed many hunting and fishing seasons with family and friends. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Post 236, Irwin, for 46 years, the F.O.E. of Jeannette and the Westinghouse Veterans Association. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Ann Colinear; a sister, Katherine Colinear McConnell; two brothers, Cosmo and Theodore Colinear; and a grandson, Nathaniel Kent. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Anna Marie Brodic Colinear; two sons, Nicholas and his wife, Carlita Colinear and P. James and his wife, Marilyn Colinear, both of North Huntingdon; two daughters, Mary Ann Kent and her husband, David, of Harrison City and Janice Bly and her husband, Robert, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Varner and her husband, Andrew, Nicholas Colinear and his wife, Janine, Elisa and Maria Kent, Beth and Mark Bly, Edward Zurich and Gregory and Maria Zurich; three great-grandchildren, Zane Andrew Varner, Vance Nicholas Varner and Mackenzie Kopas Colinear; a brother, John; and a sister, Rose Crupie, both of Larimer. Friends were received at the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 504 Oak St., Irwin, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, North Huntingdon. The Larimer V.F.D. will hold a service Wednesday at 7 p.m. and the Loyal Order of Moose will hold a service at 7:45 p.m., both in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 555 Grant St., Suite 425, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.

Nora M. Connolley

Nora M. Connolley, age 82, a resident of LGAR Home in Turtle Creek, formerly of Braddock Hills, on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2001. Born and raised in Homewood, Ms. Connolley was a 1939 graduate of Holy Rosary High School. She then resided in Wilkinsburg for over 50 years and was a member of St. James Church. She was a retired cashier with Stabile Parking Company, working mainly at the Manor Building. Ms. Connolley was a member of Catholic Daughters of America in both Swissvale and Braddock and was past grand regents of CDA. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Senior Citizens, Mulberry Senior Citizens and Turtle Creek Eastern Area Association. She was also a member of the Catholic Business and Professional Women's Association and the Pittsburgh Gaelic Arts Society. Daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Lydon) Connolley. Sister of Michael Connolley of Braddock Hills. Preceded in death by brother and sisters, Margaret, Elizabeth and William Connolley and Sarah Hanlon. Also survived by nieces and nephews, and cousins in the United States and Ireland. Friends received Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the PATRICK T. Russell "Bud" R. Davison, age 79, on Monday, Oct. 8, 2001. Mr. Davison was a steelworker with 44 years of service at USX, Homestead Works. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and an assistant steward at Thompson Run Athletic Club. Husband of Jane (Lloyd) Davison; father of Carol (Robert) Arnfield of West Mifflin, Patti (James) Miller of Munhall and Barbie (William) Threlfall of West Mifflin. Also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends received Tuesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME INC., A Golden Rule Member Firm, 3511 Main St., Munhall, where services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Lincoln Place Presbyterian Church Organ Fund.
