She was born May 26, 1950 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Norman and Mary Sandow.
Mrs. Lydon graduated from Point Park College with a degree in journalism. She was first employed by Ingersoll-Rand, and then went on to work in the office of Dr. Elizabeth Skibinski-Bortman.
Surviving are her husband, Vance L. Lydon; daughter Cassandra M. Lydon of Robinson; aunt Laverna Young Bakori of Finleyville, with whom she resided from an early age; two other aunts, sister Marta Andrulonis of Baldwin, and a nephew.
Friends were received at Joseph M. Somma Funeral Home, where services were held. The Rev. Edward Peters of Providence Presbyterian Church officiated. Interment is in Finleyville, Pa.

Ruth Sposky Mueller, 84, a life long resident of Coraopolis, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000 at her residence.
She was born March 15, 1915 in Carnegie, a daughter of the late Casimir and Mary (Glerdiesz) Szpakowski. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alfred E. Mueller, her daughter, Judith Winkle, and brother Walter Sposky.
Mrs. Mueller was a member of St. Joseph Church and the Christian Mothers organization.
Surviving are her sons, Alfred J. Mueller of Cresson and Richard J. Mueller of Economy; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home. Services were held at St. Joseph Church, with the Rev. Lawrence Holpp officiating. Interment is in St. Joseph Church.
Charles Wesley Race, 71, a Coraopolis resident most of his life, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 1, 1928 in Adrian, W.Va., a son of the late Charles W. and Goldie Bell (Jones) Race.
Mr. Race was formerly employed by Pittsburgh Screw and Bolt. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, stationed in Germany.
Surviving are his sister, Katherine Napsha of Coraopolis; niece and nephew Cheryl and Joseph Napsha; and two great nephews.
Funeral arrangements were provided by Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home. Services were private.
John D. Sedlock, 66, a life long resident of Moon Township, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000 at Mercy Hospital.
He was born born May 11, 1933 in Groveton, a son of Alice (Semerod) Sedlock of Lakeland, Fla. and the late John Sedlock. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul.
Mr. Sedlock was a retired salesperson. He was a member of the Coraopolis United Methodist Church, an avid golfer, former member of the F&AM Lodge 634, as well as the Syria Temple. Mr. Sedlock also served in the U.S. Air Force.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his loving wife, Vivian (Spangler) Sedlock; children Sharon Ross of Coraopolis, J. Dennis Sedlock of Hopewell, and Kelley Macek of N. Fayette Township; sister Betty Bruni of Lakeland; and seven grandchildren.
Friends were received at Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home. Services were held at the Coraopolis United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Sterling officiating.
Wythe Brevard "Stormy" Weathers, 82, of Pinehurst, N.C., and formerly of Sewickley, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000 at Manor Care in Pinehurst.
Mr. Weathers was born in Shelby, N.C. a son of the late Julious and Sarah (Hill) Weathers.
Surviving are his wife, Ellen (Bolli) Weathers, son Howard Marshall of Houston, Tex., daughters Cheryl McPherson of Newport, Pa., and Daryl Schalhoub of El Paso, Tex.
Funeral arrangements were provided by Copeland's Sewickley-Irvine Chapel. Interment is in Sewickley.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association.
Dorothy D. Kilgore Bauer, 78, a lifelong resident of Coraopolis, died May 12 in Hinsdale, Ill.
She was born June 10, 1921, in Pittsburgh.
She was an employee of Homestead Valve and a member of St. Joseph's Church. She served in World War II as a member of the Navy.
She is survived by her daughter, Terry Anne Bauer Suchma of Burr Ridge, Ill.; her sister Marlene Madalinski of Florida; and her granddaughter, Jennifer Suchma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Bauer, and daughter, Victoria Bullerdick.
Friends and family were received at Anthony J. Sanvito Funeral Home in Coraopolis. A funeral was held at St. Joseph's Church, with the Rev. Hal Baily officiating.
Interment is at Resurrection Cemetery.
Lucy (Cordio) Belliveau, 65, a lifelong resident of Robinson Township, died May 18 at her home.
She was born in Fitchburg, Mass. Jan. 1, 1935, a daughter of the late Anthony and Winifred Lothrop Cordio.
She was a wife, mom, grandmother and friend. She was also a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her son, Clarence Belliveau.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Belliveau; her three children; Debbie Lise of Groveton, Pam Miller and her husband John of Aliquippa and Mark Belliveau and his wife Barbara of Sewickley; five sisters, Jay Wilder of Arizona, Louise Smith of Arizona, Francis Scott of Massachusetts, Gloria Koski of Connecticut and Mary Palmer of Massachusetts; three brothers, Richard Cordio, Louis Cordio and Frank Cordio, all of Massachusetts; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A service was held at Copeland's Funeral Home in Coraopolis on May 20, with the Rev. Hal Baily officiating. Burial was private.
Sister Mary Bernard, Frances Nowak, 81, a member of the Felician Sisters for 65 years, died on May 24 in Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg from the effects of a severe stroke.
Sister Bernard was a guidance counselor at Serra Catholic High School in McKeesport, where she had served since 1973.
Sister Bernard was a native of McKeesport, where she was born the sixth of eight children of Stanislaus and Catherine Bazylak Nowak. She entered the Felician Sisters in 1935. She received the habit of the order in 1936, pronounced her first vows in 1937, and made her final profession of vows in 1943.
Sister Bernard received her elementary education at St. Mary's School in McKeesport and was a member of the first graduating class of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School. She received a Bachelor's Degree in education from Mt. Mercy (now Carlow) College, and a Master's Degree in education from Duquesne University.
Sister Bernard spent nearly all of her professional life as an elementary and secondary teacher and counselor in the dioceses' of Pittsburgh, Steubenville, Erie, Greensburg and Cleveland. From 1970 to 1972, Sister was on the staff of the Newman Center at Edinboro State College.
Sister Bernard was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.
Friends and family were received at the provincial house in Coraopolis. A vigil service was held May 28, and a Mass of Christian Burial was held May 29. Interment is at the Felician Cemetery.

Clara E. Bielewicz, 67, of Moon Township, died May 29 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born July 16, 1932, in New Bedford, Mass., the daughter of the late Joseph and Edith Taft Viger. She married Harry R. Bielewicz Sr., who survives, on Jan. 28, 1956.
She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church in Moon Township. She was employed by Felician Sister Motherhouse Infirmary in Coraopolis for 19 years. She also served in the Army.
She is also survived by her children, Mrs. George (Marybeth) Goldbach of Moon Township, Mr. Frank Bielewicz of Oak Creek, Wis., Fr. Harry Bielewicz, pastor of Saint Wendelin Church in Carbon Center, Mrs. Michael (Marycamille) Strano of Mount Joy, and Mrs. Ronald (Mary Dee) Rink of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and the following siblings: Patricia Boyer of New Bedford, Mass., Constance Viger of Lake Worth, Fla., Meredith Ponsart of St. Petersburg, Fla., Sheldon Viger of New Bedford, Mass., and Gayle Dutra of New Bedford, Mass.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends and family were received at Copeland's Funeral Home in Moon Township. A mass of Christian burial was held at St. Margaret Mary Church in Moon, with the Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiating. Interment is at Resurrection Cemetery.
Lorraine R. Camp, 60, died May 21.
For 14 years she bravely fought a battle with leukemia.
For 41 years she was the beloved wife of Richard Camp, beloved mother of Todd M. Camp and his wife Cheryl, and beloved sister of Carol Bernhart.
A memorial service was held at Hillcrest Presbyterian Church in Burgettstown on May 30.
