Roberta K. Moore, 94, of Penn Hills died May 26, 2000, at St. Margaret Hospital.
Born in Charleston, W.Va., the daughter of John and Mary Maude Sheets Kriebel, she was a retired teacher with Wilkinsburg School District.
Mrs. Moore was the owner and director of Moore's Kindergarten and Nursery School in Penn Hills. She was a past matron and 50-year member of Star of Bethlehem Chapter 103 OES.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. Ford Moore.
Surviving are her daughter, Carol Schartner; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Catherine Procopio, 81, of Penn Hills died June 2, 2000, at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital.
Born Sept. 22, 1918, in Vandergrift, she was the daughter of Anthony and Teressa Giraro Procopio.
She was a member of REAR of Verona Eagles and St. Joseph Young Old Timers.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her five brothers, Dr. Joseph Procopio Tristan, Emil Samuel and Bruno Procopio; and two sisters, Rose Pagliaro and Margaret Stayduhar.

Jean C. "Connie" Savage, 78, of Plum (East Oakmont) died May 30, 2000, in Forbes Regional Hospital.
Born Nov. 14, 1921, in Penn Hills, she was the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth McDonough Conville.
She was a senior companion at Penn Hills Senior Citizens Center.
She was the wife of the late Russell Savage.
Surviving are her children, Terry Savage of Plum, Jill Hall of Penn Hills, Russell Savage of North Carolina and Scott Savage of Texas; a brother, Albert Conville of Penn Hills; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

David L. Thompson, 82, of Penn Hills died May 29, 2000, at St. Clair Hospital
Born July 20, 1917, the son of Alfred and Effie Abernathey Thompson, he was a retired groundskeeper with Long Vue Country Club in Penn Hills.
He also worked at the former Walters Manufacturing and was a member and past officer of Verona VFW Post 441.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Thompson; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Surviving are his son, Frank Thompson of Upper St. Clair; a daughter, Bonnie Rodgers of Penn Hills; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Mrs. Green was a retired computer operator with Sears. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers.
Surviving are her son, Robert Green of Penn Hills; and sisters, Mary Gambogi, Norma Wilding and Clara Weiler.
