Born Jan. 22, 1910, in Turtle Creek, the daughter of Jacob and Wilda Cunningham Straley, she was a member of Holiday Park United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hill.
Surviving are her daughters, Wilda Curtis of Delmont and Mary Remaley of Louisville, Ky.; sons, Frank Hill of Murrysville and Kevin Hill of Raleigh, N.C.; a sister, Alda Minnis; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Friend were received at John T. Hart Funeral Home. Interment was at Twin Valley Memorial Park.
Emma Ruth (Nicholson) Hall, 75, of Plum, died Oct. 3, 2000. Born in Turtle Creek, she was the daughter of Ralph and Carrie Davis.
She is survived by her husband, Wilbert J. Hall, and son, Wilbert H. Hall.
She is also survived by one grandchild.
Henry John Harvat, 90, of Plum Borough died Oct. 5, 2000, at Forbes Regional Hospital.
Born July 12, 1910, in Center, he was the son of John and Frances Lauric Harvat. Mr. Harvat was a retired railroader with 40 years service with the Union Railroad. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, SNPJ of Center, USWA and SOAR.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Mary Roman Harvat of Unity; a daughter, Frances Piekarski of Washington Township; a son, Henry Richard Harvat of Coconut Grove, Fla.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Friends were received at Stephen P. Dolence Jr. Interment was at Plum Creek Cemetery.
Sophie Adamski Montero, 78, of Wildwood, Fla., formerly of Verona, died Oct. 3, 2000.
Born July 18, 1922, in Renton, Pa., she was the daughter of Joseph and Rozelia Krulik Adamski. Mrs. Montero was a former secretary. She was a member of St. Irenaeus Church.
Surviving are brothers, John and Walter Adamksi; and sisters, Violet Toth and Helen Tutak. Friends were received at Thomas D. English Funeral Home. Interment was at Verona Cemetery.
Linda Lee Russell, 44, of Pittsburgh, died Oct. 5, 2000.
She was a secretary for the Epiphany Lutheran Church of Pittsburgh.
Services were held Oct. 10, 2000, at the Epiphany Lutheran Church. Interment was at Riv-erview Memorial Park.
Jonathan M. Westin, 46, of Plum, died Oct. 6, 2000. Obituaries
The son of Margaret Evelyn Mills Westin and the late Henry C. Westin, he was the president of Jonathan Westin Financial Services and a member of the First Baptist Church of Monroeville.
He also served as a Plum councilman for a brief period this spring.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Dr. Eric H. Westin.

Eleanor K. "Ellie" Wick, 72, of Verona, died Oct. 8, 2000.
Formerly of Turtle Creek, she was a retired nurse from Magee-Womens Hospital, taught Sunday school and enjoyed composing her own music.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Wick.
She is survived by her sons, David and Tim Wick; sisters, Mildred McGill, Gerry Tennant, Mary Senz, Marylyn Kleinsmith and Arlene Schmidt; brother, Donald Kleinsmith; and five grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the John L. Quinlan Funeral Home Inc. in Turtle Creek, today, Oct. 11, 2000, and Thursday, Oct. 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. until the time of services at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Charles E. Arthur, 90, of Plum Borough died Dec. 4, 2000.
Mr. Arthur owned and operated a service station in Oakmont for 47 years. He enjoyed golf, rifle shooting and bowling. obituaries

Anna Mandak Duray, 78, of North Braddock died Dec. 1, 2000.
Mrs. Duray was a retired employee of the former Zayre's department store.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Duray; and brothers, Michael and John Mandak; and a sister, Mary Mehalik.
Surviving are her children, Mary Ann Strueve of North Braddock, Aggie Kwin of North Versailles, John Duray of Plum and Dorothy Duray of North Braddock; a brother, Edward Mandak; and seven grandchildren.
