She was born in Rochester, Pa., on April 22, 1933, to the late Raymond N. Berry and Mabel Graham Berry.
She is survived by her husband, Edward A. Farrington; sons, Edward H. Farrington of Castle Shannon and Raymond N and his wife Marian Farrington of Coraopolis; grandson, Joshua C. Farrington; three brothers, Arthur L. Berry of Rochester, Pa., Alva T. Berry of Willingboro, N.J., and Richard E. Berry of Columbus, Ohio; four sisters, Marjorie J. Starr of Sewickley, Donna M. Stewart of Pittsburgh, Brenda L. Johnson of Evanston, Ill., and Rosemary Burton of Coraopolis; and three sisters-in-law, Rose and Alice Berry of Rochester, Pa., and Gloria Berry of Willingboro, N.J.
She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
Mrs. Farrington was once employed by Traders Jewelry Store in Sewickley.
She belonged to the Triumph Baptist Church of Sewickley.
She was a graduate of Rochester High School.
A service was held at the Triumph Baptist Church. Interment was in Sewickley Cemetery.

William Robinson Richards, 59, died at home in Newbury Port, Mass., on May 20, 2000.
He was born in Pittsburgh to Althea Robinson Gorman and the late Charles Snowdon Richards.
He attended Sewickley Academy, graduated from the Berkshire School and Babson Institute.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Bates Richards; two daughters, Stacy Richards Gallant and Melanie Alexander Richard; and a son, Charles Snowdon Richards II.
A private service will be held at a later date.
William Emerson Schroeder, 87, of Amelia Island, Fla., died on May 22, 2000. He was formerly from Fox Chapel.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margaretta Wood Oliver; four children, William Emerson Schroeder Jr. of Wayland, Md.; Augustus Oliver Schroeder of Fox Chapel;, Margaretta Wood Schroeder of Gibsonia, Pa.; and Mary Schroeder Eichenlaub of Saxonburg, Pa.; seven grandchildren, as well as two brothers, Frank Canfield Schroeder Jr. and A. Reed Schroeder of Sewickley.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John Slack Schroeder.
Mr. Schroeder was born in Sewickley on Sept. 1, 1912, and attended Sewickley Academy, Phillips Academy, Andover and Princeton University, Class of '34.
After college, he worked in the oil fields of West Virginia, Michigan and Illinois.
In August of 1925, Mr. Schroeder became the youngest Eagle Scout in America with the honor of going to Washington to shake the hand of President Coolidge. He was a member of Troop 2 sponsored by St. James Church in Sewickley.
During WWII, he served with the Counter Intelligence Corps in New York City during 1942-43 with the rank of Staff Sargent.
In 1944, Mr. Schroeder was transferred to Australia and after training, went into the Pacific Theater Forces to New Guinea and the Philippines.
In the spring of 1945, he received a field promotion to 2nd Lieutenant, was discharged and returned to Pittsburgh.
In 1946, he was one of the four brothers who founded Schroeder Brothers (now Schroeder Industries).
The company continues in its initial business of manufacturing and distributing mining machinery and industrial oil filters. Schroeder Industries is located in McKees Rocks. He retired as president in 1970.
Mr. Schroeder had a life-long interest in nature, particularly birds.
While living in Fox Chapel, he was very active in developing parks and park programs in the borough.
Later in Florida and up until his death, he was an active supporter of the Audubon Society.
While living in Fox Chapel, he was a member of the vestry of the Fox Chapel Episcopal Church.
Mr. Schroeder had an indomitable spirit that brought him many friends wherever he lived.
Funeral services were held on Amelia Island, Fla.
A memorial service in the Pittsburgh area will be announced later .

Anna C. Bean, 64, of Lower Fredrick Township died Nov. 25, 2000.
Born Dec. 30, 1935, in Monroeville, she was the daughter of Christine Foland Edwards of Norristown and the late William Edwards. She was a dietary worker.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Christine, Carole, Harold, Walter II and Richard Bean; and four grandchildren. Friends were received at Jobe Funeral Home. Inter-ment was at Church Hill Cemetery.
Howard Berkins Jr., 67, of Monroeville died Nov. 30, 2000, at Woodhaven Care Center.
Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Howard L. Berkins Sr. Mr. Berkins was a retired chemist with Jones&Laughlin.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his brother, Gil Berkins.
Arrangements were handled by Gene H. Corl Funeral Home. Services were at North American Martyrs Church with the Rev. Francis Murhammer officiating.
Interment was at New St. Joseph Cemetery.
Michele M. "Micki" Phelps, 29, of McKees Rocks died suddenly on Sept. 6, 2000.
She was born in Sewickley on April 12, 1971, a daughter of Ruth Ann (O'Rourke) Mixter of Coraopolis and Jeffrey Polk of Ambridge.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, April, Kristen and Aaron; a brother, Douglas Mixter of Findlay; and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. C.D. O'Rourke of Moon and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Polk of Florida.
Friends were received at Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home, where services were held with Pastor Dr. Jeffrey Sterling of the Coraopolis Methodist Church officiating.
Interment is in Sewickley Cemetery.
Maurice F. Repetio, 83, of Monroeville died Nov. 29, 2000, at St. Francis medical Center. Born in Genoa, Italy, he was a retired craneman for LTV.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Repetio; his children, Betty Ciccone and Marie Eror; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at Gene H. Corl Funeral Home. Services were at St. Bernadette Church. Interment was at St. Marys Cemetery.
Lillian Sharp of Monroeville died Dec. 3, 2000. She was preceded in death by her daughter, V. Andrea Hill; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Albert S. Svantner, 82, of North Braddock died Nov. 28, 2000.
Born Feb. 21, 1918, in Braddock, he was the son of Michael and Barbara Guzma Svantner. Mr. Svantner was a retired worker at U.S. Steel, Edgar Thomson Works. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Good Shepherd Church, VFW, American Legion d frequent visitor to Braddock Senior Citizens.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Rockovich Svantner.
Surviving are his children, Marlene O'Malley, Donna Leicht and Myron Svantner; and four grandchildren, Danny, Brian, Derek and Melanie.
