David J. Saginaw, 68, of McCandless Township, on Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999. Husband of Eileen Behr Saginaw. Father of Kimberly Jean Gettemy of Spring, Texas, and David John Saginaw II of Huntington, N.Y. Grandfather of David Dominick Gettemy, Connor Christopher Gettemy, and Joseph David Saginaw. Mr. Saginaw was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Louis A. Simek, 93, of Chalfant Borough, on Monday, Nov. 8, 1999. Beloved husband of Anna M. Simek; dear father of Annette F. Simek of Chalfant, Linda Travis of Greensburg, and Dr. Louis R. Simek of Delmont; brother of Agnes Hagedorn, Martha Barefoot, and the late Helen Turek and Charles Simek; and grandfather of Michele and Sean Travis, and Zoey, Slater and Quaide Simek. Mr. Simek was a masonry contractor and also employed by the Churchill Area School District. Harold E. Stubbs Sr.
Harold E. Stubbs Sr., 89, of Washington Township (Mamont), died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, in the H.C.R. Manor Care nursing home, Monroeville. He was born March 15, 1910, in Altoona, a son of the late Harry H. and Laura DeArmitt Stubbs. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an electrician for Westinghouse Electric Corp. in East Pittsburgh, and also owned and operated Mamont Radio and Television Repair for a number of years. He was a member of St. John Baptist de La Salle Church in Delmont, and was a charter member of the Washington Township Lions Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen L. Ratay Stubbs, on March 27, 1999; and a sister, Margaret Kulberg. Survived by three sons, Gerald E. Stubbs and his wife, Peggy, of Delmont, Kenneth E. Stubbs and his wife, Karen, of New Kensington, and Harold E. "Hod" Stubbs Jr. and his wife, Diana, of Penn Hills; a brother, Ralph Stubbs, of Fairless Hills, Pa.; a sister, Beatrice Church, of Beltsville, Md.; and nine grandchildren. Anna M. Elek Beserock, 88, of Munhall died Saturday in Briarcliff Pavilion for Specialized Care in North Huntingdon Twp. She was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Homestead.
Born Aug. 3, 1911, in Homeville, she was a daughter of the late John and Barbara Volchanyi Elek and the wife of the late George A. Beserock Jr. She is survived by children, Barbara Lynch of West Mifflin, Mary Lou Price of North Huntingdon Twp., Geraldine Nee of Bloomington Minn., and George A. Beserock III of Ellicott City, Md.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Elek of Robinson Center, Olga Elek of Munhall, Rose Engle of East McKeesport and Gertrude Thomas in California state.
Friends will be received in the Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., Munhall, tomorrow from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday at 9 a.m. in St. Anthony Church by the Rev. Henry Krawczyk. Interment will be in St. Elias Cemetery, West Mifflin.

RICHARD SCOTT
Richard Scott, 70, of Versailles died Friday in UPMC McKeesport. A retired driver from the Coca-Cola Co., he was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Born in McKeesport, June 30, 1929, he was a son of the late Albert and Viola Atkinson Scott. He is survived by a sister, Fern Keeney with whom he resided; brother, William A. Scott of Speers; nieces and nephews.
Friends are being received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home, Versailles. Service will be offered there tomorrow at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Kevin Haley. Interment will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.

WILLIAM NAGY
William F. Nagy of West Mifflin died yesterday. He was a member of Homeville Christian Church and a life member of the Homeville Volunteer Fire Co.
He is survived by his wife, Caroline Nagy; children, Louise Tkach, Thomas Nagy and Dorothy Nagy; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother, Albert Nagy in South Carolina; sister, Dorothy Toth of Pittsburgh; nieces and nephews.
Friends are being received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasant Hills. Service will be conducted there tomorrow at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.

ETHEL COLLART
A former McKeesport resident, Ethel Neasom Collart of Columbus, Ohio, died there Saturday at Worthington Christian Village. A graduate of California State Teachers College, now California, University of Pennsylvania, with a bachelor of arts degree in child psychology and special education, she was the author “The Blue Glass Window” and taught in school districts in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
A 50-year member of Queen Esther Chapter 11, Order of Eastern Star, in Clarksburg, W.Va., she was a member of the Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth Twp.
Daughter of the late John W. and Elsie Rossell Neasom, she was the wife of the late Richard Clement Collart who died Sept. 21, 1999. She is survived by a daughter, Dr. Marie Ethel Collart of Columbus.
Private services will be offered by the Rev. Robert Wasner. Interment will be in Flint Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, Columbus. The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Richard and Ethel Collart Endowment Fund of the Central Ohio Breathing Association, 1520 Old Henderson Road, Columbus, OH, 43220.

GEORGE PLANCHAK JR.
George Planchak Jr., 76, of West Mifflin, formerly of Braddock and Monroeville, died Saturday at home. Retired from the Edgar Thomson plant, U.S. Steel Corp., in Braddock, with 42 years of service, he was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish in Duquesne and Irwin Post 781, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II.
Born in Braddock, April 19, 1923, he was the son of the late George Sr. and Anna Planchak and the husband of the late Hannah M. Fey Planchak. He is survived by a sister, Mary Volcheck of Monroeville; nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home, Inc., Duquesne. A blessing will be offered there Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Holy Name Church with the Rev. Dennis Colamarino as celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery, West Mifflin.
