Ann Klotz Shuba, 73, of West Mifflin, formerly of West Homestead, died Thursday in UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh. She was the past president of the West Mifflin Manor Tenant Council.
Born in West Homestead, Feb. 5, 1927, she was the wife of the late Anthony N. Shuba. She is survived by sons, Jerry Shuba of Boca Raton, Fla., and David Shuba of Turtle Creek; daughter, Stephanie Karlo of Cheswick; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and sister, Dorothy Cibulka of West Mifflin.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 10 a.m. in Resurrection Church, West Mifflin, by the Rev. Robert G. Turner. Arrangements are in charge of the Cremation Organization, Inc.

MARION PERRONE
Marion (Peter) Perrone, 71, of Jefferson Hills died yesterday at home. He was a former console operator for Copperweld Bimetallics Division in Glassport and member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton.
Born in Glassport, Feb. 9, 1929, he was the son of the late Marion Perrone and Florence Perrone Barbetta. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Dolfi Perrone; daughter, Andrea Herrick of Rochester, N.Y.; sons, Clinton Perrone of Wexford and Peter Perrone at home; three grandchildren; brother, Frank Perrone of Hopwood; nieces and nephews. Another brother, Armond Perrone died in November of 1999.
Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church. Interment will be in St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton.

BETTY KUKLISH
Betty Humanic Kuklish, 77, of Port Vue died Saturday in Jefferson Hospital. She was a member of St. Mark Parish.
Born in Wilpen, Jan. 28, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Voytilla Humanic and the wife of the late Steve Kuklish. She is survived by daughter, Sandy Antoinette of Cecil Twp.; three grandchildren; sister, Virginia Humanic of Clairton; brothers, William Humanic of Monroe, Ohio, and James Humanic of White Oak; nieces and nephews.
Friends are being received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, today from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 10 a.m. in the Port Vue worship site by the Rev. Gerald Mikonis. Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Clairton.

LOUIS MINNICK
Funeral Service was conducted today at 1 p.m. in the John S. Maykuth Jr. Funeral Home, Masontown, for Louis Minnick, 51, of Ralph who died Friday at home. The Rev. William Griebe officiated and interment
with full military rites took place in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown.
A 1967 graduate of Norwin High School, he was employed by Mon River Towing in Speers, a former employee of the Duquesne plant, U.S. Steel Corp., and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Born Oct. 28, 1948, in Uniontown, he was the son of Alverda Adams Minnick of Ralph and the late Charles E. Minnick. He is survived by his mother; wife, Rebecca L. Miller Minnick; son, Michael Minnick of Newark, N.Y.; stepchildren, Rachel King of Morgantown, W.Va., Ricky Hoffman Jr. of Ralph and Shane Edward Hoffman of Carmichaels; step-granddaughter, Karissa Lou Nicola with whom he resided; five other step grandchildren; and sister, Betty Gaff of White Oak.

MINNIE WIATROWSKI
Minnie M. Wiatrowski, 88, of West Mifflin died yesterday in UPMC McKeesport. She was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish in Duquesne and its Rosary Society.
Born July 25, 1911, in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Olga Dizak Laszczynski and the wife of the late Anthony Wiatrowski. She is survived by sons, Anthony L. Wiatrowski of West Mifflin and Donald A. Wiatrowski of Canonsburg; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Jennie Boyer of West Mifflin and Florence Stanko of McKeesport.
Friends are being received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Inc. Duquesne. A blessing will be offered there tomorrow at 9 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Hedwig Church, Duquesne, with the Rev. Dennis Colamarino as celebrant. Interment will follow in the parish Cemetery, West Mifflin.

SONIA BOWEN
Sonia W. Bowen, 65, of Dravosburg died yesterday in Southwestern Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Pleasant Hills. She was a former employee of Pat’s Hallmark in McKeesport and member of Riverview Women’s Community Club.
Born in McKeesport, May 7, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Bertha Molnar Wargo. She is survived by her husband, Frank A. Bowen; daughter, Joyce Miller of Elizabeth Twp.; son, Curtis Bowen of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; four grandchildren; sisters, Judy Virostek of Pacifica, Calif., and Carolyn Von Ilg of Franklin, Tenn.; and brother, Andrew Varga of San Jose, Calif.
Service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in Strifflers’ Dravosburg/West Mifflin with the Rev. Karen Prescott officiating. No visitation is scheduled. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Dravosburg No. 2 Volunteer Fire Co.

ROSEMARIE MACKO
Rosemarie C. Macko, 65, of White Oak died yesterday at home. A former personal secretary to the personnel manager of Bethlehem Steel Corp. in Rankin, she was a nursing assistant at Woodhaven Care Center in Monroeville, member of St. Angela Merici Church in White Oak and a former member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers of St. Robert Bellarmine Church, East McKeesport.
Born in Duquesne, Oct. 30, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Frieda Brunner Klemens. She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Macko; sons, Dr. Thomas J. Macko of Orefield, Timothy W. Macko of Sanibel Island, Fla., and Terry Macko of Washington, D.C.; daughters, Debbie Contrella of Millersville, Md., and Linda Smiga of Landisville; seven grandchildren; and brother, Roney Klemens of Wilmington, N.C.
Friends will be received in Strifflers’ White Oak today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Angela Merici Church by the Very Rev. Betty B. Onesi, 77, of Lincoln died yesterday at home. She was a member of Good Samaritan Episcopal Church in Liberty and its Vestry and Ladies Guild, and Lincoln Mothers’ Club and a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Lincoln Volunteer Fire Department.
Born Jan. 4, 1923, in Lincoln, she was a daughter of Emma Frederick Andre Garella of Elizabeth and the late William P. Andre. She is survived by her mother; husband, Charles J. Onesi; daughters, Carolyn J. Rose of Goose Creek, S.C., and Patricia Douglas of Lincoln; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters, Wilma Lacey of Buena Vista, Anne Lucas of Elizabeth and Jeanne Heslop of White Oak; nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be offered Thursday at 1 p.m. in Good Samaritan Episcopal Church by the Rev. Charlie Appel. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. ALEXANDER DRAHUSZ
Alexander (Al) Drahusz, 82, of Wilmerding died yesterday in Woodhaven Care Center, Monroeville. Owner of the former Silver Rail Tavern and Mobil Gas Stations in Wilmerding, he was retired from Westinghouse Electric Corp., East Pittsburgh, a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a member of SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Wilmerding.
He was also a member of Monroeville Chapter 2582, American Association of Retired Persons; Norwin Lodge 2313, B.P.O. Elks; American Legion Post 230 in Wilmerding; Friendship Club of Monroeville; League of Ukrainian Catholics of America; Wilmerding Golden Agers; Monroeville Senior Citizens; and the Mid-Century Club of Monroeville.
Born July 22, 1917, in Wilmerding, he was a son of the late Mike and Anne Lesek Drahusz. He is survived by his wife, Anne Urick Drahusz; stepson, Robert J. (Bob) DePhillips of Beaver Falls; two grandsons and a great-granddaughter; brothers, John Drahusz in Florida and William (Bill) Drahusz of Monroeville; sisters, Mary Trammell in California, Margaret Zidanic of Swissvale, Helen Petrosky of North Huntingdon Twp. and Joanne Kopko in Kansas; nieces and nephews.

Frances McCarthy, 78, of White Oak died yesterday in UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh. She was a member of St. Angela Merici Church in White Oak.
Born in Duquesne, Feb. 12, 1912, she was a daughter of the late John and Antoinette Salopek Mihaljevic and the wife of the late John F. McCarthy. She is survived by sons, Paul McCarthy of White Oak and Dennis McCarthy of North Huntingdon Twp.; daughters, Claire McCarthy Strouse of Williamsport, Jeanne McCarthy of White Oak, Patricia McCarthy Lutz of Dover, N.H., and Jacqueline McCarthy Kittel of Spokane, Wash.; seven grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Gregris of West Mifflin, Mary Vockley of North Huntingdon Twp. and Rose Dubyak of Pittsburgh; nieces and nephews.
