KEVIN BARR
Kevin M. Barr, 43, of Jefferson Hills died yesterday in Jefferson Hospital. An automobile mechanic at the former John Mitruski Service Station in Pleasant Hills, he was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, Clairton.
Born in McKeesport, Jan. 24, 1957, he was the son of Joan A. Harvey Barr with whom he resided and the late Kenneth E. Barr. He is survived by his mother; brother, James L. Barr of La Porte, Ind.; sisters, Jean Chimenti of Erie and Susan M. Rowe of Cleveland, Ohio; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Paulinus Church. Private interment will be held in St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton. The family has suggested memorial contributions to St. Clare of Assisi Parish; or South Hills Health System, ICU Jefferson Hospital, Coal Valley Road, Jefferson Hills, PA, 15236.

KATHRYN GRESO
Kathryn G. (Kay) Greso, 76, of Duquesne died yesterday in UPMC Braddock. She was a member of St. John Mark Lutheran Church in Homestead and its Faith Circle and Lydia Circle.
Born in Duquesne, Aug. 16, 1923, she was a daughter of the late William B. Sr. and Esther Captain Lewis. She is survived by her husband, Julius J. (Jay) Greso; daughter, Barbara Johnston of Santa Cruz, Calif.; son, David Greso of Newark, Del.; two grandchildren; and brother, Albert Lewis in South Carolina.
Memorial Service will be held at later date in St. John Mark Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Gago officiating. No visitation is scheduled. Arrangements are in charge of the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home, Inc., Duquesne.

JOHN KELLY
John Paul (Kelly) Kelly, 92, formerly of Duquesne, died yesterday in UPMC McKeesport. Retired from the plant protection department of the Irvin plant, U.S. Steel Corp., he was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish and Teutonia Mannerchor and Social Club, both in Duquesne.
Born June 4, 1907, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Alexander and Stephenia Kalinowski. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Fidel Kelly; sister, Helen Johnson of North Huntingdon Twp.; brother, Edward Skabinski in France; nieces and nephews.
Friends are being received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home, Inc., Duquesne. A blessing will be offered there tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in St. Hedwig Church with the Rev. Dennis Colamarino as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery, West Mifflin. The family has suggested memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.

WILLIAM HANNA II
William C. Hanna II, 57, of McKeesport died yesterday in UPMC McKeesport. He was a technician with the McKeesport Sewage Authority and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Born in McKeesport, May 21, 1942, he was the son of Patience Emery Hanna of St. Petersburg, Fla., and the late William C. Hanna. He is survived by his mother; wife, Suzanne Hrozencik Hanna; daughters, Kathleen Hanna Rock of Fairfax, Va., and Bethany Hanna of McKeesport; a granddaughter; and sister, Patricia C. Hanna of St. Petersburg.
Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the D. James Heatherington Funeral Home. Service will be conducted there Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Richard Bonds-Krug. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. The family has suggested memorial contributions to the McKeesport Hospital Foundation.

OLIVE HOWELL
Service was offered today in the Sheraden United Methodist Church in the Sheraden section of Pittsburgh for Olive Mae Shipley Howell, 92, of Westwood, formerly of Sheraden and Boca Raton, Fla., who died Tuesday. Arrangements were in charge of the Speer-Anthony Kaprive Funeral Home, Sheraden.
Employed at the former Famous Department Store, she was a former buyer for Cox’s.
Born May 18, 1907, she was the wife of the late William Wilson, William Miller and Edward Howell. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Wilson Dixon; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Thelma McElravy; nieces and nephews.

ALMEDA SNYDER
Almeda C. Snyder, 97, of McKeesport died Tuesday in Riverside Nursing Center, Inc. A resident of McKeesport since 1919, she was a retired cosmetologist and caterer and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she formerly served on the Trustee Board, as a member and past president of the Senior Missionary Society, former member of the Ladies Official Board, Sunday School teacher and chairperson of the Special Building Fund.
Born Aug. 30, 1902, in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of the late Cellous and Eliza Powell Clemons and the wife of the late Daniel Thomas Snyder. She is survived by nephews, John Whitaker of McKeesport and Edward Whitaker of Monroeville; and caregivers, Ethelda King and Dorothy Jones of McKeesport.
Friends will be received in Bethlehem Baptist Church Monday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service there at noon with the Rev. Aubrey E. Swann officiating. Interment will be in Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville. Arrangements are in charge of the Robert A. Waters Funeral Home, McKeesport.

ROBERT YEDNAK
Robert L. Yednak, 61, of Port Vue died yesterday in UPMC McKeesport. He was the former owner of Yednak Automotive in McKeesport and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Born in McKeesport, Dec. 11, 1938, he was the son of the late Stephen and Betty Kerfoot Yednak and the husband of the late Doris Perry Yednak. He is survived by his sons, Stephen Yednak, Robbie Yednak and Robert Yednak Jr., all of McKeesport; two grandchildren; brothers, Thomas, William and Glenn Yednak, all of McKeesport; sisters, Marlin Neal of McKeesport, Lyda Vranesevic of West Mifflin, Ruth Dzubinski of Elizabeth Twp. and Maggie Yednak of Port Vue; nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the William H. Craig Funeral Home, Inc. Service will be conducted there Monday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. William Little. Interment will be in Richland Cemetery, Dravosburg.

PAULINE COMUNALE
Pauline A. Corradi Comunale, 85, of Wilmerding died yesterday in Kane Regional Center in Glen Hazel. A cook for the former Lagorga’s Restaurant in Wilmerding, she was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Parish, Wilmerding, and its Rosary Society.
Born Sept. 25, 1914, in Atlasburg, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Rose Pederzalli Corradi and the wife of the late Abe Comunale. She is survived by a son, Abe Comunale Jr. of Monroeville; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brothers, John Corradi in New York and Tony Corradi in Vermont; nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., Wilmerding. Service will begin there Monday at 10 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in St. Jude the Apostle Church with the Rev. John O’Malley as celebrant. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville.

HELEN RADER
Helen C. Rader, 90, of Mount Vernon died yesterday in Mount Vernon of Elizabeth Health Care. Retired as the executive secretary to the general superintendent of the National plant, U.S. Steel, she was a life member and elder of Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church and past president of its Women’s Association, life member and past president of McKeesport YWCA, past president of the women’s division of the Chamber of Commerce in McKeesport and a volunteer for the Elizabeth Forward Meals on Wheels Program.
Born July 13, 1909, in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret Culbert Rader. She is survived by a sister, Wilda Rader Sturni of Oakmont; and nephews.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church. Service will be conducted there Monday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. William K. Little. Interment will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. The family has suggested memorial contributions to Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are in charge of the Drew J. Gilbert Funeral Home, Inc., Boston, Elizabeth Twp.

ALBERT A. BEALKO
Albert A. Bealko, 71, of Port Vue, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born July 29, 1928, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late William Coleman and Pearl Rozazinski Bealko. He is survived by his former wife, Alice Faye Bealko; three daughters, Beverly (Dennis) Petrovay of North Huntingdon, Veronica Walker of Ponce Inlet, Fla., and Susan (Dennis) James of North Huntingdon; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pearl Fetzko of Henderson, Texas, and Helen Bekowitz of North Versailles; a brother, Edward Bealko of Indiantown, Fla.; and nieces and nephews. He was the owner of the former Al Payton's Place Bar and Restaurant and had been previously employed as a brakeman for Union Railroad and a delivery man for Stratigos Catering of White Oak. He was a member of St. Martin DePorres Parish, where he had served as an usher and volunteer for church activities, including the Lenten fish dinners. He had served in the U.S. Army and the Merchant Marines during World War II. Visitation will be held at the WILLIG FUNERAL HOME, 220 Ninth Ave., McKeesport, Saturday evening from 7 to 9 and Sunday from 12 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Nov. 15, at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Worship Site, McKeesport, with the Very Rev. John Rushofsky officiating. Interment will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
