David J. Cameron, 71, of West Newton died Thursday in Willis Nursing Center, Homestead. Retired from the TYK Refractory in Large, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7812 in West Newton and the Slovenian Club and German Club, both in Collinsburg.
Born Oct. 24, 1928, in Elizabeth, he was a son of the late James and Ada Houston Cameron and the husband of the late Ruth Crosbie Cameron. He is survived by children, Robin Kennedy and James and Michael Cameron of West Newton, David Cameron of Verona and Donna Cameron in Maryland; four grandchildren; sisters, Jean Gealy of Elizabeth and Mary Hilty of Washington, Pa.; and brother, James Cameron.
Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the J. William McCauley Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., West Newton. Service will be offered there Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.

PAUL HRUBY
Paul Hruby, 80, of McKeesport died yesterday at Riverside Nursing Center, Inc. A retired millwright from the Duquesne plant, U.S. Steel Corp., and former employee of the Donora plant, U.S. Steel Corp., he was a member of the Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees.
Born in Donora, Nov. 10, 1919, he was a son of the late Paul J. and Johanna Bazuch Hruby. He is survived by sisters, Velma Galiffa of Las Vegas, Nev., Mary Patik of Jeannette and Florence Huntoon of New Eagle; and brothers, Edward Hruby in Ohio, Alfred of Library, John, David and Raymond of Finleyville, Emil and William of Belle Vernon and Arthur of Monongahela.
Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in the L.M. Frye Funeral Home, Inc., Monongahela. A blessing will be offered there Monday at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Alfred Podroskey. Interment will follow in Monongahela Valley Memorial Park.

JOSEPH LEVAT JR.
A former Jefferson Hills resident, Joseph J. Levat Jr., 49, of the North Side of Pittsburgh died Thursday at home. A steelworker from the Clairton plant, U.S. Steel Corp., he was a member of the Apostolic Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in the North Hills of Pittsburgh and the United Steelworkers of America.
Born in McKeesport, May 24, 1951, he was a son of Lois Kathryn McGogney Levat of Jefferson Hills and the late Joseph Levat Sr. He is survived by his mother; wife, Kathy Mouyard Levat; brother, John C. Levat of Jefferson Hills; sister, Lois Elaine Klimo of North Versailles Twp.; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton. Interment will be in St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton.

JAMES BENNETT JR.
James Edward Bennett Jr., 52, of Connellsville, formerly of McKeesport, died Thursday at home. He was born June 28, 1947, in McKeesport, a son of Blanche Moravitz Bennett Sninsky of Glassport and the late Charles Perry Bennett.
He is survived by his mother; fiancée, Connie Yauger of Connellsville; daughters, Elizabeth Bennett and Jo Anne Gubash of McKeesport, Michele Wilson of Tucson, Ariz., and Leatha Bennett of North Versailles Twp.; son, Charles Bennett of North Versailles Twp.; stepsons, James and Jody Yauger of Connellsville; 10 grandchildren; brother, John Bennett of Glassport; and sisters, Judy Fresh of Bunola and Barb Bennett of McKeesport.
Memorial Service will be offered Tuesday at noon in the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., Connellsville.

LEOTA FLYNN
Leota Flynn, 84, of Fountain, Colo., died Thursday in Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colo. She was a former assistant manager for Levine Fabrics in Levittown.
Born in Duquesne, Aug. 30, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Martha Kupp Fink and the wife of the late Thomas Flynn. She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Stancil of Fountain; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Inc., Duquesne. A blessing will be offered there Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 10 in Holy Name Church of Christ the Light of the World Parish in Duquesne with the Rev. Dennis Colamarino as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin.

ROSE PERHACS
Rose Perhacs, 91, of West Mifflin died yesterday in Huntingdon Ridge East, North Huntingdon Twp. She was a member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Duquesne.
Born in McKeesport, June 9, 1909, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Elizabeth Banasky Perhacs and the wife of the late Michael Perhacs. She is survived by brothers, Theodore (Ted) Perhacs of Herminie and Chester Perhacs of McKeesport; nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Inc., Duquesne. A blessing will be offered there Tuesday at 11 a.m. followed by Funeral Liturgy at 11:30 in St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church with the Rev. Eugene Yackanich as celebrant. MARY McFADDEN
Mary Dunyak McFadden, 88, of East McKeesport died yesterday in Shadyside Health Care Center, Pittsburgh. A retired nurse from local hospitals, she was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church in East McKeesport.
Born May 30, 1912, in Donora, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary Tokach Dunyak and the wife of the late Edward A. McFadden. She is survived by sisters, Ann Dunyak of Whiting, Ind., and Margaret Moore of Smithton; brothers, Mike Dunyak of Donora and John Dunyak of Harrisonburg, Va.; nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, East McKeesport, Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church. ZETTA FREEMAN
Zetta Joy Freeman, 78, of Liberty died yesterday in UPMC McKeesport. Born Jan. 12, 1922, in Swissvale, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Estella Brickley Kitchen.
She is survived by daughters, Judy Campbell of Liberty and Bonnie Kuk of Arona; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Beattie of McKeesport, Frieda Burchell of Clairton and June Diamond of McKeesport; brothers, Ralph Kitchen of McKeesport and Wilbur Kitchen of Hazel Hurst.
Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 9 p.m. in the Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home. Service will be conducted there Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. by the Rev. Dr. William J. Clawson. Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.

GEORGE SMITH
George B. Smith, 63, of McKeesport died yesterday in UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh. A former employee of Westinghouse Electric Corp., East Pittsburgh with over 38 years of service, he was employed in Large and with the former Westinghouse Telecomputer Center in Braddock Hills where he retired in 1994 as a manager, and was a veteran of the U.S. Naval Reserve.
Born June 22, 1936, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late George W. and Elsa Burgeson Smith. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Kossuth Smith; sons, George Stephen Smith of Penn Hills, Mark Robert Smith of North Huntingdon Twp., Rodger Alan Smith of Frederick, Md., and Brian Glenn Smith of Liberty; and five grandchildren.
Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in Strifflers’ White Oak. Service will be conducted there Wednesday at 9 a.m. by the Rev. John J. Keane. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum of New St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles Twp.
