Born in Plum, he was the son of Gergor and Frances (Sega) O'Block.
Mr. O'Block was a retired owner and operator of O'Block Coal Co. and O'Block Excavating Co.
He was past president and member of the Slovenian Association of Center and the AFU.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Arendas) O'Block.
Surviving are his children, Alice Shelly, Bernadette Funfar, Margaret Downes and David O'Block; a sister, Josephine Podobnik; a brother, Paul O'Block; and seven grandchildren.
Friends were received at Maurice L. Knee Funeral Home. Services were at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Kennan officiating.
Interment was at Plum Creek Cemetery.
Woody
Kenneth R. Woody Sr., 97, of Holiday Park died July 2, 2001, at Forbes Regional.
Born in Fairmont, W. Va., he was a retired mechanic.
Mr. Woody was preceded in death by his wife, Maude Woody.
Surviving are his sons, Kenneth Jr. and Robert Woody; sisters, Glenda Cook and Caryl Marquis; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at Gene H. Corl Funeral Home.
Interment was at Restland Memorial Park.
Dunbar
Harry Dunbar, 80, of Holiday Park died July 7, 2001.
Born in Brownsville, he was a retired furniture salesman with Sears.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Dunbar; his daughter, Suzanne Leja; and two grandchildren.

Shaver
Kenton P. Shaver, 80, of Plum Borough died July 29, 2001.
Born in Detroit, Mich., he was the son of William and Leda (Prichard) Shaver.
Mr. Shaver was a retired employee of Equitable Gas Co.
Surviving are his wife, Janet (Murphy) Shaver; his daughter, Marilyn Dzaack of Monroeville; a sister, Helen McNitt.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann (Harwood) Shaver; and a son, Kenton Shaver.
Friends will be received 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday at Jobe Funeral Home. Services will be at noon Thursday.

Zarisky
Agnes Zarisky, 82, of Renton, Plum Borough, died July 30, 2001, at West Penn Hospital.
Born Jan. 21, 1919, in Rossiter, she was the daughter of Gusty and Emely (Farkas) Nagy.
Surviving are her son, Stanley Zarisky of Monroeville; a daughter, Joyce Eshman of Export; four grandchildren; sisters, Julia Horvat, Marion Shyosky and Elizabeth Kuhla; and brothers, Frank, Louis and Zigmond Nagy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Zarisky; sister, Emily Bone; and a brother, Gusty Nagy Jr.
Friends will be received 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Stephen P. Dolence Jr. Funeral Home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Frank DeLuce officiating.
Interment will follow at Plum Creek Cemetery.
Mikolaczyk
Mary Mikolaczyk, 86, of Plum Borough died July 23, 2001.
Born in Linhart, Pa., she was the daughter of John Sr. and Sophia (Kish) Shanter.
Mrs. Mikolaczyk was a homemaker and member of St. John the Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Mikolaczyk.
Surviving are her children, Nancy Varrato and Jan Mikolaczyk; sisters, Elsie Stasko, Elizabeth Acno, Josephine Nellis, Ella Reshko, Anna Mae Anderson and Theresa Hribal; and a grandchild.

Heid
Herbert Heid, 73, of Verona died July 24, 2001, at UPMC St. Margaret.
Born July 1, 1928, he was the son of Ralph and Violet t (Thorton) Heid.
Mr. Heid was retired from J&L Steel.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving is his brother, Ralph Heid of Plum Borough.
Arrangements were handled by Burket-Truby Funeral Home. Interment was at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Soxman
Thomas Joseph Soxman, 57, of Penn Hills died July 24, 2001.
He was the son of Thomas Soxman and the late June Rose (Fisher) Soxman.
Mr. Soxman was the owner of Soxman Funeral Homes, Roth and Morasco chapels. He graduated with a degree in psychology from John Carroll University. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and went on to graduate from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1971.
His community membership included Kiwanis Club of Penn Hills, YMCA board member, Knights of Columbus #4242, Penn Hills Chamber of Commerce, Penn Hills Planning Commission, Univer-sal Loyal Order of Moose and president of the board for Plum Senior Citizens Center. As a member of St. John the Baptist Church, he served as Eucharistic minister and on the pastoral council.
Surviving are his wife, Donna Soxman; his sons, Brian and Mark Soxman; siblings, Nikki and Phil Blough of Rhode Island; and 10 nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at Soxman Funeral Homes Morasco Chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of one's choice.
Gourash
Andrew A. Gourash, 84, of Plum Borough died Feb. 20, 2002. Mr. Gourash was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II where he served as a navigator and was a prisoner of war.
He was an office manager at Chrysler Co. Parts Division and an active member for more than 50 years of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Josephine Gourash; children, Andrew, William and Raymond; two granddaughters, Theresa and Catherine Gourash; a brother, Francis Gourash and his wife, Dorothy; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Gourash.

Putzlocker
Margaret Putzlocker, 81, of Plum borough died Feb. 23, 2002. Born in Pittsburgh, she was formerly a clerk with a pharmaceutical company.
Surviving are her husband, James Putzlocker; her children, Robert Breide and Donna Blackmore; stepsons, Jimmy and Kenny Putzlocker; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Breide. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Breide; and a grandchild, Emily Breide.
