Joseph S. (Don) Hegedic, age 89, of West View, on Tuesday, April 29, 2003. Born on October 19, 1913 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Steve & Anna (Fernbach) Hegedic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Elliott and sister Marcella.
Joseph worked as a Welder Pattern Maker for Annealing Box Co in Pittsburgh. He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, North Hills Lodge #716 F.&A.M., Syria Temple, Can Co. 359th Infantry Regiment 90th Division, and VFW Post 2754, West View.
Beloved husband for 55 years of Gertrude M. (Winter) Hegedic. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 1, 2003 2-4 and 7-9 at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, Inc., 388 Center Avenue, West View.
Services will be held at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, Inc., Friday, May 2, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Lisa Ubbelohde of St. Luke Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Royal Cemetery.
If desired Memorial Donations may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church 305 Center Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15229.

Keith D. Miller, age 42 of Washington, PA, formerly of Ross Township, on Tuesday, April 29, 2003. Born in Pittsburgh on May 9, 1960, he is the son of Donald H. and Joann (Schmitt) Miller.
In addition to his parents, Keith is survived by a son, Adam; a brother & sister, Mark & Lynne Miller and a friend, Denise. Also, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends received Friday, 7-9 and Saturday, 2-4 & 7 until time of service at 8:30 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home, Inc., 388 Center Avenue in West View.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Washington City Mission, 84 Wheeling Street, Washington, PA 15301.

Cono P. "SAM" Passione, of Richland Twp., Gibsonia, on Sunday, April 27, 2003.
Born on March 22, 1925 in Pittsburgh, PA., he was the son of the late Cono Passione & Angelina (Ucellina) Passione.
Beloved husband of the late Ann (Utiss) Passione.
Dear father of Vincent D. Passione of Cheswick, Cono P. Passione Jr of Bakerstown, Jimmy P. Passione of Valencia and Kimberly A. Leggett of Mechanicsburg. Brother of Catherine Hohman of Mt. Washington. Loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Connie and one brother, Basilio.
Mr. Passione was a member of Teamsters Local 249 and a member of the VFW Mars Post 7505.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown. Rev. Theodore Martin will officiate. The family requests in lieu of flowers, monetary donations be made to the St. Barnabas Nursing Home 5827 Meridian Rd Gibsonia, PA 15044. Rita J. Uptegraff, age 81, of the North Side, on Sunday, April 20, 2003.
Born on June 14, 1921, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late William K. & Anna (Sedelsky) Young. Beloved wife of the late Charles E. Uptegraff.
Dear mother of Rita Feustel of Utah, and Carol Giger of West View. Also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Rita was the owner of Uptegraff's Restaurant on the North Side.
Friends will be received on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, Inc., 388 Center Avenue, West View. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Athanasius Church on Thursday, April 24, 2003 at 10:00a.m. Interment in North Side Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale St., Memphis TN, 38105.

Margaret E. (Betty) Irwin, age 77 of McCandless Township, on Wednesday, February 9, 2000, at UPMC Passavant Hospital. She was born in Pittsburgh on May 24, 1922, the daughter of the late Aaron and Margaret (Woodburn) McClintock.
Mrs. Irwin is the beloved wife for 55 years of Wallace R. Irwin and was a homemaker most of her life. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Robert B. Irwin of Bradford Woods; James D. Irwin of Virginia and Margaret (Peg)
Miller of Washington, PA. Also, 3 grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Thursday from 7-9 and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home, Inc., 388 Center Avenue in West View. Service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Glenshaw Alliance Church, 3601 Mt. Royal Boulevard, Glenshaw, PA 15116 (Please Meet at Church). Interment in Allegheny County Memorial Park.
Betty was very active in missions outreach through Alliance Women. If desired, memorials may be made to the "Great Commission Fund" of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, c/o the Glenshaw Alliance Church.

Alvin F. Hundertmark, age 78, of Richland Township, on Sunday, November 4, 2001 in St. John's Lutheran Care Center, Mars, PA. Born May 16, 1923 in Etna, PA the son of the late Ernest and Emma Schlumpf Hundertmark. Mr. Hundertmark was a retired Mechanical Engineer having served for over 40 years with US. Steel and a WWII Army Veteran.
Survivors include his beloved wife, of 48 years, Carolyn Shaw Hundertmark. Two sons Eric Hundertmark of Trappe, PA, Gary Hundertmark of Franklin, PA and Beth Kellner of Harrisville, PA. Brother of Ernestine Hundertmark of Richland Township, Dorothy Green of Virginia, Leona Zimmerman of Missouri and Ernest Hundertmark of Kennerdell, PA. Grandfather of Evan, Darrel, Megan and Nathan Hundertmark and Grace Kellner.
Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 7-9 at the SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, LTD 5864 Heckert Road Bakerstown (Richland Township) where services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m... with Pastor Leonard Pate of the Glenshaw Valley Presbyterian Church officiating. Entombment will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park.
Mr.. Hundertmark was a former member of the Richland Township Planning Commission.

Alison Logan Gebauer, age 47, of Charleroi, died on Thursday, February 14, 2002. Born on May 13, 1954 in Pittsburgh. Beloved wife for 5 1/2 years of Edward B. Gebauer. Dear daughter of William S. & Marjorie (Dellenbaugh) Logan of Richland Twp., Gibsonia. Dear daughter-in-law of Edward J. & Bertha (Shedleski) Gebauer of North Wales, PA. Sister of Craig Logan of Xenia, Ohio and step mother of Sarah, Claire, and Elise Gebauer all of Reston, VA.
Friends received Monday, February 18, 2002 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME LTD 5864 Heckert Road Bakerstown PA. Rev. Dr. Darcy E. Hawk of the Gibsonia Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment private. A memorial service will be held in May at her farm.
Alison was the owner of her own farm where she raised sheep, all natural chickens, Boarder Collies, and horses. She kept active in competitions of Boarder Collies and recently opened Red Horse Market at Brush Run Farm where she sold all natural foods. She and her husband were known for numerous working sheep dog demonstrations at the Scottish Games in the Eastern United States.
The family suggests all contributions in lieu of flowers to the Alison Logan Gebauer Memorial Fund in care of the American Boarder Collie Association 82 Rogers Road, Perkinston, MS 39573-8843.

Edna S. (Schoeneweis) Daniels, age 94 of the Presbyterian Senior Care Center in Oakmont, PA on Monday, February 18, 2002 at her residence. She was born in Pittsburgh on May 29, 1907, the daughter of the late John and Martha Elizabeth (Willome) Schoeneweis. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Daniels was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; three sisters, Mildred Rohm, Irene Jung and Marie Waldschmidt and four brothers, John, Elmer, Walter, and Harold Schoeneweis.
Mrs. Daniels is survived by a brother, Robert Schoeneweis of Texas. Also, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home, Inc., 388 Center Avenue in West View where services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Dr. Robert Tuttle, Pastor of Elfinwild United Presbyterian Church will officiate the service at the funeral home. Interment in Mt. Royal Memorial Park.
Prior to her retirement, Edna was employed as a Legal Secretary.
Family suggests donations to North Hills Youth Ministry, 802 McKnight Park Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
