The Rev. Earl Creps, 81, of Wilkinsburg died Sept. 23, 2002.
Born in Waynesboro, he was the son of Earl Creps Sr. and Mable Staley.
Mr. Creps was a retired pastor of Calvary Lutheran Church in Wilkinsburg who previously had served in parishes in Chambersburg and Martinsburg, W.Va.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Jane Willetts; sons, Earl and Timothy Creps; a daughter, Faith Jones; sisters, Gladys Sproat and Betty Phillipy; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at Calvary Lutheran Church, where a service was held with Pastor Patricia Bonds-Krug officiating.
Interment was at Homewood Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home.
Rudge
Robert Rudge Sr., 76, of Penn Hills died July 27, 2002.
He was born in Swissvale.
Mr. Rudge was a retired heavy equipment operator.
He was a Marine Corps veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Alberta (Elcock) Rudge; his sons, Robert Jr. and Richard Rudge; a sister, Mildred Rudge; and four grandchildren.
Friends were received at Soxman Funeral Homes.
Interment was at Plum Creek Cemetery.
Schultz
Joseph J. Schultz Jr., 81, of Churchill, formerly of Ocala, Fla., and Braddock, died July 31, 2002.
Mr. Schultz was a longtime volunteer fireman in North Braddock.
Surviving are his wife, Florence Schultz; his children, Suzanne Ives, Marcia Dulin and Jeffrey Dulin; sisters, Caroline Simon, Louise Cain, Anne Rodgers and Helen Halchak; and three grandchildren.
Arrangements, were handled by Wolfe Memorial Funeral Home.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. this Saturday, Aug. 10, at St. Colman Church with the Rev. James Kunkle officiating.

Sgourakis
Susan Ann Sgourakis, 37, of Forest Hills died Aug. 3, 2002.
She was the daughter of Kitty Sgourakis and the late Nicholas Sgourakis.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her sister, Kathy Sgourakis and her fiance, Ken Stephan; brothers, John Sgourakis and Michael Sgourakis and his wife, Aimee; a nephew, Matthew Ledbetter; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Shepard
Emor Oren "Shep" Shepard, 80, of Wilkins died Aug. 3, 2002.
He was a retired electrical engineer with Westinghouse.
Mr. Shepard was a member of U.S. Maryland BB No. 45 during World War II and the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association.
He enjoyed membership for 20 years at the Wilmerding YMCA.
Surviving are his wife, Jeannette Marie (Simmons) Shepard; his children, Charles Shepard of Saltsburg and Douglas Shepard of Valencia, Calif.; brother, Charles Shepard; and a grandson.
Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Jobe Funeral Home in Turtle Creek, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.

Fredrick W. Turner, 76, of Turtle Creek died July 28, 2002.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Turner.
Surviving are his son, Fredrick Turner and his wife, Martia, of Seattle; his brother, Wayne Turner; and nieces and nephews.

Kelly
Thomas Kelly, 73, of Forest Hills died Sept. 27, 2002.
Mr. Kelly was a Korean War veteran.
He was a vice president at Paine Webber.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Kelly; daughters, Nancy German of Shaler and Maureen Gonzales of West Chester, N.Y.; sons, Thomas Kelly of New York City and Jack Kelly of Forest Hills; and six grandchildren.

Dorothy Roderus, 89, formerly of Churchill, died Sept. 25, 2002.
Mrs. Roderus was preceded in death by her husband, William Roderus; and a son, William Roderus.
Surviving are her daughter, Carol Adamek of Penn Hills; a son, John Roderus of Galliapolis, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Jean (MacLaughlin) Black, 85, of Wilkins, formerly of Unity and Wilkinsburg, died Sept. 28, 2002.
She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Plum.
Mrs. Black was a former treasurer of Plum Creek Womens Club.
Surviving are her husband, William Black; sons, Donald Black of Laramie, Wyo., Daniel Black of Valley City, Ohio, and David Black of Churchill; and sisters, Ethel Durante of Newtown, Conn., and Mildred Pugh of Chalfant.
Friends were received at Jobe Funeral Home.
A service was held at Community United Presbyterian Church.

Motzko
Joseph Motzko, 80, of North Versailles died Sept. 22, 2002.
Mr. Motzko was a Navy veteran of World War II and a retired steelworker with U.S. Steel, Edgar Thomson Plant.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn (DeVore) Motzko; daughters, Lynn McVeigh of Penn Hills and Sharon Motzko Martin of California; a son, Gary Motzko of West Middlesex; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A service was private.
Interment with military honors was at Penn Lincoln Cemetery.
