Edna (Swisshelm) Liddell, 89, of Turtle Creek died Sept. 25, 2002.
She was a daughter of John Monroe and Mary Ellen (Hall) Swisshelm.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Liddell.
Surviving are her son, Robert Liddell of Monroeville; daughters, Shirley Fischer of Homestead and Helen Harrelson of Seminole, Fla.; and 11 grandchildren.
Friends were received at Jobe Funeral Home, where a service was held.
Catone
Joseph "Pizz" Catone, 90, formerly of Aliquippa, died Sept. 25, 2002.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve Antonucci Catone; brothers, Nicholas, Anthony, Charles, Edward, Vincent and Nick Catone; and a sister, Mary Flotta.
Surviving are his daughters, Philomena Cicone of Mingo Junction, Ohio, and Kathy Catone Bendersky of New York; a brother, Robert Catone of Swissvale; sisters, Rose and Marie Catone of Swissvale; a granddaughter; a grandson; and two great-granddaughters.
Friends were received at Thomas L. Nied Funeral Home Inc.
A service was held at Madonna del Castello Church.
Interment was at All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery in Braddock Hills.
Bittner
Hazel J. Bittner, 87, of Turtle Creek, formerly of Monroeville, died Feb. 16, 2002, in UPMC Braddock.
Born May 6, 1914, in Delmont, she was the daughter of Louis and Mary (Kunes) Shredl.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Bittner; four brothers; and four sisters.
Surviving are her son, James Bittner and his wife, Marianne; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Alfieri Funeral Home in Wilmerding, where a service will be held at noon this Thursday, Feb. 21, with the Rev. Howard Ray officiating.
Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
Stackiewicz
Victor A. Stackiewicz of Monroeville died June 27, 2001, at Forbes Regional Hospital.
He was the son of Harry and Caroline (Wolan) Stackiewicz.
Mr. Stackiewicz was a retired journeyman pattern maker with WABCO and a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Lois (Kosar) Stackiewicz; his children, Mary Ann Nau of Monroeville, Victor Stackiewicz of Slickville and Robert Stackiewicz of Murrysville; sisters, Sophie Batchen, Josephine Ellwood, Patty McCloskey and Sally Stackiewicz; and six grandchildren.
Friends were received at Alfieri Funeral Home. Mass was celebrated at St. Jude the Apostle Church with the Rev. Norbert Campbell officiating.
Interment was at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
Wertz
Charles Homer Wertz, 75, of Pitcairn died June 26, 2001, at Forbes Regional Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella (Umbar) Wertz.
Surviving are his sons, Charles and Walter Wertz, both of Pitcairn.
Friends were received at Wm. O. Pearce Funeral Home.
Services were held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pitcairn with the Rev. Wes Weidenheimer officiating

Zischkau
Dorothy Zischkau, 66, of Monroeville died June 27, 2001.
Born in Turtle Creek, she was the daughter of Louis and Helen (McClintock) Senic.
Mrs. Zischkau was an administrator at the University of Pittsburgh.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Zischkau Jr.; and a sister, Betty Kokas.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Zischkau; her children, Leah Pennebaker and Jodi Teslevich; a brother, Charles Senic; sisters, Jean Hopper and Evelyn Gojkovich; and three grandsons.
Friends were received at Jobe Funeral Home. Services were held at Electric Heights Methodist Church.

Jones
LaVonne Jones, 86, formerly of Pitcairn, died June 29, 2001, at Woodhaven Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Jones; her sons, Robert Lee and Charles Jones; a sister, Dorothy Meyer; and a brother, Harold Wensel.
Surviving are her children, Judith Fitzsimmons of Traf-ford; sister, Melrose McClena-han; brother, Ray Wensel; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at Wm. O. Pearce Funeral Home.
Interment was at Penn Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
Douglas
Craig Jones Douglas, 54, of Plum died June 28, 2001.
Born in Dravosburg, he was the son of Harry Douglas and the late Aileen (Jones) Douglas.
Mr. Douglas was an electric technician for 18 years at Westinghouse. More recently, he was in charge of building maintenance at Ivanhoe Apartments in Monroeville.
Besides his father, he is survived by his wife, Emily (Hess) Douglas; children, Holly and Kevin Douglas; and brothers, Gary and Paul Douglas.
Friends were received at Jobe Funeral Home in Monroe-ville. Interment was at Jefferson Memorial Park.

Spangler
Ruth Spangler, 98, of Cabot, formerly of Pitcairn and Murrysville, died July 1, 2001.
Born June 29, 1903, in Pitcairn, she was the daughter of John and Mary Louise (Womer) Hysong.
Mrs. Spangler was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Turtle Creek.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Spangler; a daughter, Verda Cassiday; and six brothers.
Surviving are daughters, Janet Price of Portland, Ore., and Joanne Hively and her husband, John, of Murrysville; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
Friends were received on Wednesday, July 4, at John T. Hart Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, with the Rev. Matthew Kephart officiating.
Entombment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont .
Jimenez
Jesus Jimenez, 44, of Monroeville died Feb. 17, 2002, at Forbes Regional Hospital.
He was born in Mexico.
Mr. Jimenez was an engineer with USX.
Surviving are his wife, Paula Jimenez; and children, Elisa Marie and Carlos Philip Jimenez.
