Delores L. (Eckelberry) Baer, 77, formerly of Moon Township, died Monday, Nov. 17, at the Masonic Village at Sewickley.
Mrs. Baer was born Aug. 25, 1926 in Moundsville, W.Va. to the late James H. and Mary (Collmar) Eckelberry. She was a self-employed hairstylist and a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Walter; two sons, Mark E. (Lynn) Baer and Timothy J. (Colleen) Baer of Moon Township; one daughter, Donna J. Kozlik of Moon Township; one brother, James Eckelberry of Hopewell; two sisters, Beverly Price of Crescent and Pam Dray of East Liverpool, Ohio; and five grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Copeland’s of Moon Township.
Burial was at Coraopolis Cemetery.
Brodie
Robert N. Brodie, 68, of Coraopolis, formerly of Moon Township, died Monday, Nov. 17, at Shadyside Hospital.
Mr. Brodie was born Aug. 13, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Iola (Fisher) Brodie. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Greene.
He was retired after 33 years from Sewickley Post Office as a postal clerk. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Coraopolis. Mr. Brodie was a member of The Sewickley Senior Men’s Club and the NARPC.
Survivors include: his wife, Sarah Jane; one brother, Allen Brodie of Sewickley; and nieces and nephews.

Griglak
Anna Marie Griglak, 64, of Moon Township, died Saturday, Nov. 15, at her residence.
Mrs. Griglak was born Nov. 24, 1938 in Masury, Ohio to the late Andrew and Mary (Dacey) Mittal. She was a 41-year resident of Moon Township, where she was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church and a social member of the Hopewell VFW Post 8805. She retired in 1997 after 17 years as teachers’ aide with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit.
Survivors include: her husband, John; two daughters, Veronica (Barry) Sedmack and Diana McKenna, of Moon Township; one sister, Sr. Sister Andrene; two grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Copeland’s of Moon Township. Burial was at Resurrection Cemetery.
Piper
Doyle C. Piper, 96, of Coraopolis, died Monday, Nov. 10, at his residence.
Mr. Piper was born Oct. 12, 1907 in Clearfield County to the late William and Sadie (Ginter) Piper. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene E. (Etter) Piper.
Mr. Piper was a resident of Coraopolis Neville Island for about 45 years. He was a retired car inspector for P & LE RR and a member of both the Presbyterian Church of Coraopolis and the Coraopolis Men’s Golden Age Club.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lillian.
Survivors include: one son, Doyle C. Piper, Jr. of Rosemont, Minn.; two daughters, Janet Piper of Stowe Township and Sally Potts of Moon Township; one sister, Edna Milligan of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Coraopolis.

Trunzo
Natale Trunzo, 75, a longtime resident of Moon Township, died Sunday, Nov. 9, at the Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, W.Va.
Mr. Trunzo was born Aug. 29, 1928 in Falerna, Italy to the late Angelo and Petruzza (Cunsolo) Trunzo. He retired in 1983 from J & L Steel, where he had been a steelworker for 30 years. He was a member of St. Joseph and the Ambridge Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph.
Survivors include: his wife, Matilida; three sons, Angelo (Diana) Trunzo of Alamagordo, N.M., Daniel (Cathy) Trunzo of Lake in the Hill, Mich., and Thomas (Darleen) Trunzo of Coraopolis; two daughters, Lina Trunzo of Mt. Lebanon and Mary Ann (Tim) Rollins of Coconut Creek, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Copeland’s of Coraopolis.
Burial was at St. James Cemetery.
Wieczorek
Dineen M. (Szady) Wieczorek, 52, of Aliquippa, formerly of Moon Township, died suddenly on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mrs. Wieczorek was born Jan. 1, 1952 in Springfield, Mass. To the late Alfred M. and June E. (LaBare) Szady. She was employed by Ikea in Robinson Township for 11 years, where she was still working in their customer service department. She was a member of St. Margaret Roman Catholic Church in Moon Township and was a member of The Coraopolis Elks Club No. 1090 in Moon Township, where she was the firmer president of The Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW – Keith Holmes Post No. 402 in Coraopolis. She was an avid golfer.
Survivors include: her husband, Walter; three daughters, Doreen J. (Steven) McKenna of Hopewell Township, Darleen M. (Thomas) Trunzo of Coraopolis and Christine T. Wieczorek of Moon Township; three brothers, Michael Szady of Massachusetts, Steven Szady of Florida and Alfred Szady of Georgia; three sisters, Susan Morrisette, Patricia Wiles and Sharon Bessette, all of Massachusetts; and two grandchildren.

Cerankowski
Martin V. “Skip” Cerankowski, 36, of Hopewell Township, formerly of Coraopolis, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, at his residence.
Mr. Cerankowski was born July 31, 1967 in Sewickley to the late Janet A. (Wright) Fogel. He was employed by Barney’s Tavern for eight years and was still working there. He was a member of the tavern’s pool team, softball team and a member of the golf league. He also worked for BFI Waste Management.
Survivors include: his fiancée, Meredith Hines of Hopewell Township; one sister, Amy Deichler of Hopewell Township; his aunt and uncle, Betsy and Arthur Wright of Aliquippa; and one niece.

Ferguson
Mary Evelyn Ferguson, 82, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Clinton, died Friday, Nov. 28.
Miss Ferguson was born March 2, 1921 in Sewickley to the late J. Howard and Margaret Stonesipher Ferguson. She was a retired clerk working with the Findlay Township Municipal Authority and was a lifelong member of the Hebron Presbyterian Church in Clinton.
Survivors include: two brothers, John Ferguson of Pittsburgh and Samuel Ferguson of West Point, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were handled by Moody Funeral Home in Clinton.
Burial was at Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.
Handick
William E. Handick, 76, of Hanover Township, died Monday, Nov. 24, at his residence.
Mr. Handick was born Jan. 19, 1927 in Robinson Township to the late Edward and Stella Handick. He retired in April 1983 after 32 years as a steelworker with Union Electric Steel in Carnegie. At the same time, he also ran his cattle farm, helped manage his aunt and uncle’s farm in Florence and was known to be there when his neighbors needed help on their farms. Mr. Handick served since 1983 until just recently as chairman of the board of supervisors and road supervisor for Hanover Township, Washington County. In leisure, Mr. Handick enjoyed spending time with family and friends frequenting auctions, playing euchre, and watching the Steelers, Penn State, the Pirates, and golf tournaments.
Survivors include: his wife, Patsy; four sons, Barry G. (Linda) Handick, Dale A. (Marsha) Handick, Robert E. (Beverly) Handick and William E. (Linda) Handick, Jr., all of Clinton; three daughters, Cathy L. (Robert) Derosky, Wendy K. (Maurice) Stack and Sandra L. (Albert) Swoager, all of Clinton; one brother, Fred Schmidt of Coraopolis; one sister, Margaret Vietmeir of Robinson Township; and 14 grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Joseph M. Somma Funeral Home in Robinson Township.
Burial was at Petrie Cemetery.
Johnson
Harold E. Johnson, 77, a lifelong resident of Coraopolis, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Willow Lane.
Mr. Johnson was born Nov. 11, 1926 in Coraopolis to the late Bertram and Pearl (Coulter) Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Pearl Schneider and Imogene Cluelow.
Mr. Johnson retired in 1982 from Bell Telephone Co., where he worked in telephone repair for 35 years. During World War II, he was stationed in the Philippines as a Corporal in the U.S. Air Force. He was a graduate of Coraopolis High School, and a member of both the Presbyterian Church of Coraopolis and the VFW Post 402.
Survivors include: his former spouse, Lois Krol of Eustis, Fla.; one brother, Bertram Gerald Johnson of Williamsport; and two nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Burial was private at Allegheny County Memorial Park.
