Pauline D. Bauer, 87, of North Versailles died May 24, 2003, in NorRidge.
Born June 6, 1915, she was the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Orawiec) Kanapczyk.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bauer; and six brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her son, Bob Bauer of North Huntingdon; two daughters, Polly Germer of Kent, Ohio, and Joyce Drava of Farmington, Mich.; and six grandchildren, .
Friends will be received from 9 to 9:30 a.m. today (Wednesday) at James W. Shirley Funeral Home.
Mass will be at celebrated at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) at St. Agnes Church.
Interment will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.

O’Toole
Hazel O’Toole, 99, of McKeesport died May 22, 2003.
She is survived by a niece, Helene Moffett of Forest Hills, who had been her caretaker for more than 20 years; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a grandniece.

Sekowski
Thomas R. Sekowski, 60, of Rankin died May 23, 2003.
He was the son of Jane Sekowski and the late Walter Sekowski.
He was an estimator with Cost Co. for 36 years.
Mr. Sekowski was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Joyce (Boland) Sekowski; children, Rose Marie Dizon and Shawn Sekowski, both of Rankin; brother, Raymond Sekowski; sister, Janie Shaplye; and a grandson.
Friends were received at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home.
Mass was celebrated at Sacred Heart Church.
Interment with military honors was at Monongahela Cemetery.
Atkinson
Audrey Atkinson, formerly of Forest Hills, died May 19, 2003.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Atkinson; sister, Betty Lloyd; and brother, Marvin Michael.
Surviving are her daughter, Elaine Atkinson; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were handled by Wolfe Memorial Funeral Home.
A service was held at Faith Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary LaPietra officiating.

Carosso
David J. Carosso Sr., 74, of Forest Hills died June 2, 2003.
Mr. Carosso was a master plumber and owner for more than 40 years of Carosso & Sons Plumbing in Turtle Creek.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth (McKeen) Carosso; his children, Karen Perret of Freedom, Kathy Wilson of McCandless, David Jr. of Turtle Creek, Guy of Turtle Creek and John Carosso of Export; brother, Raymond Carosso; sister, Gwen Wilkerson; and three grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Jobe Funeral Home, Turtle Creek, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. this Thursday, June 5.
Clendenen
Jack M. Clendenen, 69, of Turtle Creek died May 31, 2003.
Mr. Clendenen was the son of Albert and Dolores (Gregg) Clendenen.
He was a former employee of Westinghouse East Pittsburgh and Trafford.
Surviving are his sister, Peggy McLellan and her husband, Bill, of Corry; nephew and nieces, Bill, Lisa and Autumn McLellan; grandnieces and grandnephews; and aunt and uncle, John Gregg and Peggy Hamilton.

Davis
Thomas E. Davis, 82, of Forest Hills, died June 2, 2003.
Born in Wilmerding, he was the son of Robert Gray and Margaret Ellen (Stumpf) Davis.
He was a retired conductor with 35 years of service with the Union Railroad.
Mr. Davis was an Army and Marine Corps veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Anna (Sribniak) Davis; children, Elaine Lord and her husband, Craig, of Princeton, N.J., Michael and his wife, Maria, of Richmond and Thomas and his wife, Denise, of Forest Hills; daughter-in-law, Connie Davis; sister, Margaret Kevel; brothers, Francis and John Davis; five grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.

DeMay
Marie DeMay, 90, of Monroeville, formerly of Swissvale, died June 1, 2003.
She brought national recognition to Western Pennsylvania for her records in track and basketball. Consequently, she was inducted into East Boros Sports Hall of Fame.
Her track accomplishments, which held for years, included Allegheny Mountain Association records in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash and 220-yard dash.
She qualified for the Olympics with a pair of shoes that were given to her by the patent department of Westinghouse, where she worked for more than 40 years.
Ms. DeMay played basketball with the famous Goldenson Vanities and Westinghouse AA and won Westinghouse duckpin bowling championships.
She later was active in the Forest Hills and Monroeville AARPs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ester (Kovac) DeMay; her companion, Frank Lilly; sisters, Carrie Prethero, Katherine Tingley, Violet DiLucente, Elizabeth and Ester DeMay; and brothers, John, Paul, Andrew and William DeMay.
Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Frain
James F. Frain, 74, of Forest Hills died May 26, 2003.
Mr. Frain retired with 42 years of service at Westinghouse and continued to work as an independent consultant.
He was an elder and active member of Beulah Presbyterian Church and a member of Masonic Lodge and Syria Shrine.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Frain; children, Allan of Forest Hills, Dale Frain of East McKeesport and Lynne Crowley of Allendale, N.J.; and two granddaughters.
Friends were received at Wolfe Memorial Funeral Home.
A service was held at Beulah Presbyterian Church with the Rev. William Drew officiating.
Interment was at Beulah Church Cemetery in Churchill.

McLaughlin
Paul P. “Watts” McLaughlin, 89, of Swissvale died May 30, 2003.
Mr. McLaughlin was a retired employee with 35 years service at U.S. Steel Edgar Thomson Works.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian (McKeever) McLaughlin.
Surviving are his children, Marianne Reeves of Jacksonville, N.C., Dennis McLaughlin of Swissvale, Laurie Koncsol of North Versailles, Nancy Kimble of Leetsdale, Paul McLaughlin Jr. of North Huntingdon and Gail and Maureen McLaughlin, both of Swissvale; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
