Ronald Goehring, 33, formerly of Penn Hills died Oct. 9, 2002.
Mr. Goehring served in the Navy for six years and was a Desert Storm veteran.
Surviving are his mother, Beverly Goehring; father, Louis Goehring; wife, Jolene (Binder) Goehring; sisters, Lynne Brosius and Nancy Czolba; and a brother, Thomas Goehring.
Friends were received at Charles W. Trenz Funeral Home Inc. Service was held at the funeral home.
Hoffman
Martina Hoffman, 77, of Plum Borough died Oct. 13, 2002.
Born in Pittsburgh, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Hoffman was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Martin Hoffman; and a sister, Margaret "Peggy" Flannery.
Surviving are her husband, George Hoffman; daughters, Susan Stock, Mary Villarreal and Joan Cocca; sons, Ken and Neil Hoffman; a brother, James Flannery; a sister, Anne "Nancy" Flannery; and 15 grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Soxman Funeral Homes. Service was held at St. John the Baptist Church.
Interment was at Plum Creek Cemetery.
Hogue
Edna Hogue, 92, died Oct. 8, 2002.
Mrs. Hogue was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Hogue; and a brother, August Schmitt.
Surviving are her daughter, Lois Crissman of Mansfield, Ohio; a son, Roy Hogue of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at St. Bernadette Church in Monroeville. Interment will be at Good Shepherd Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Trenz Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Bernadette Church Lourdes Center Fund.
James
David James Sr., 63, of Plum Borough died Oct. 12, 2002.
Mr. James was a member of the American Legion Post# 980.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley James; a daughter, Lynn Durka of Rostraver Township; a son, David James Jr. of New Kensington; a brother, John James Jr. of Ligonier; a sister, Sally Powell of Wilkins Township; and three grandchildren.
Service was private. Arrangements were made by Thomas D. English Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Plum Creek Presbyterian Church.
Nestor
William D. Nestor, 52, of Plum Borough died Nov. 2, 2002.
Born Jan. 28, 1950, in Brandonville, W.Va., he was the son of Wilbert and Edith (Showalter) Nestor. Mr. Nestor was a truck driver for most of his life.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Beverly (Mink) Nestor; his children, Brian Nestor of Allegheny Township, Brandi and Becky Nestor, both of Plum Borough, and Barbie Dominic of Plum Borough; sisters, Victoria Sadler and Cynthia Mihalic; brothers, Larry and Wade Nestor.
Friends were received at Burket-Truby Funeral Home. Interment was private.
Newport
Marjorie (Hawtree) Newport, 71, of Penn Hills died Nov. 2, 2002.
She was a member of Penn Hills AARP and Hebron United Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Newport; and a sister, Joanne Collet.
Surviving are her children, Jay Newport, Mary Jo Bernazzoli, Jill Lamance and Scott Newport; and eight grandchildren.

Churilla
Matthew R. Churilla, 75, of Plum Borough died Nov. 6, 2002.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and served as Plum Borough Real Estate Tax Collector.
Surviving are his wife, Lorraine Churilla; his children, Michael, Matthew and Joseph, Terence Churilla, Susan Hessom and Lori Campbell; 13 grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Kuhn.

Linaberger
Elsa Ann (Held) Linaberger, 64, formerly of Penn Hills, died Nov. 6, 2002.
She graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, and was an elementary school teacher.
Mrs. Linaberger was a volunteer at Penn Hills Service Association, aided in leading the Children’s Choir at Hebron United Presbyterian Church, served on the board of Mars Home for Youth and the Leadership Council of Ingomar United Methodist Church and as a member of Philanthropic Educational Organization chapter.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, James Linaberger; daughters, Anne Mazula, Mara Linaberger and Elizabeth Best; and a grandson, J.T. Mazula.
Private arrangements were handled by Charles W. Trenz Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Ingomar United Methodist Church, 1510 W. Ingomar Road, McCandless Township.
Memorial contributions are suggested to her church or Allegheny College, Meadville, PA 16335.

Irene M. Post, 77, of Holiday Park in Plum Borough died Nov. 7, 2002.
Born in Lewiston, Maine, she was a retired secretary.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Post; sons, Albert and Todd Post; and two grandchildren.
Friends were received at Gene H. Corl Funeral Home where a service was with the Rev. Cedolia officiating.
Potochnik
Elizabeth Potochnik, 93, of Plum Borough died Nov. 9, 2002, at Manorcare of Monroeville.
Born in Finleyville, Pa., she was the daughter of George and Mary (Jurancic) Boyer. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Plum
