Mary C. Proviano, 88, of Plum Borough died Jan. 23, 2003, at Forbes Regional.
Born in Italy, she was the daughter of Enrico and Carmella (Paliotta) Viccari.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Proviano.
Surviving are her children, Arthur Proviano and Louise Ciorra; a brother, Joseph Viccari; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home. A service was at Our Lady of Joy. Interment was at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Mattes
Beverly J. Mattes, 49, of Plum Borough died Jan. 24, 2003.
Surviving are her husband, Frederick Mattes; her parents, Michael and Elizabeth Antonich; brother, James of Upper St. Clair and Michael Antonich of Monroeville.

Brown
Florance L. Brown, 89, of Holiday Park died Jan. 28, 2003, at Forbes Regional Hospital.
Born in East Pittsburgh, she was a retired administrator.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were handled by Gene H. Corl Funeral Home. Interment was at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Chirumbolo
Joseph A. Chirumbolo, 61, of Plum Borough died Jan. 24, 2003.
Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Guiseppe and Caterina (DeFazio) Chirumbolo. Mr. Chirumbolo was an auto mechanic with Firestone Auto Service. He was a member of Our Lady of Joy Church
Surviving are his wife, Patricia (Orr) Chirumbolo; children, Joseph Chirumbolo and Christina Babbarino; sisters, Angelina Gigliotti, Maria DeVita and Antoinette Roberto; and a grandchild.
Arrangements were handled by Maurice L. Knee Funeral Home.
Interment was Good Shepherd Cemetery.
Damp
Mary A. Damp, 85, of Penn Hills died Jan. 31, 2003.
Mrs. Damp was a member of Monroeville Assembly of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Damp Jr.
Surviving are her son, Harry Eugene Damp and his wife, Catherine, of Latrobe; granddaughter, Deborah Lynn Damp of New York City; sisters, Esther Graffuis Herron, Miriam Moore; brother, Joseph Float.

Grodecki
Agnes E. Grodecki, 87, of Plum Borough died Jan. 28, 2003, at Shadyside Hospital.
Born in Collier Township, she was the daughter of John and Esther (Bailint) Kiszer. Mrs. Grodecki was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary in Polish Hill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Grodecki.
Surviving are her children, Barbara and Ronald Grodecki; sister, Anna Yenchik; and two grandchildren.
Friends were received at Maurice L. Knee Funeral Home. A service was at Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Cedolia officiating. Interment was at St. Stanislaus in Shaler Township.
Hague
John C. Hague, 69, of Plum Borough died Dec. 27, 2003, at West Penn Hospital.
Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of James and Catherine (Callahan) Hague. He was a former steelworker at LTV. Mr. Hague was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of St. Januarius Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Hague; children, Maj. Michael Hague, USMC, and Michelle Cautela; a sister, Mary Ann Phillips; and three grandchildren.

Irwin
Daniel E. Irwin, 54, of Plum Borough died Jan. 23, 2003.
Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of John and Margaret (Cummings) Irwin. Mr. Irwin was vice president of H MAK, and specializing in commercial food equipment and worked on many projects including Heinz Field, Camden Yards and Ravens Stadium. He was a member of Holiday Park United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Jane (Ebbitt) Irwin; sons, Christopher and Bradley Irwin; and a brother, Jack Irwin.

Jenchura
Alice C. Jenchura, formerly of Penn Hills, died Jan. 31, 2003.
She was a graduate of Duquesne University and taught at St. Bartholomew School for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Jenchura.
Surviving are her son, James Jenchura of Colorado, John Jenchura of Merion, Pa., Janice Griffin of Lansdale and David Jenchura of New Jersey; eight grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, John Needham; son, Glenn Needham and his wife, Michelle; sister, Edna Kalik; sister in spirit, Karen Burnside.
