Richard Rutledge Rouzer, 85, of Verona died March 25, 2001.
Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Harry and Isabelle Livenspire Rouzer. Mr. Rouzer was co-owner of The Timbers. He was a member of Mifflin Avenue Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Fisher Rouzer.
Surviving are his child, Babs Dias; special companion, Margaret Bachmann; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Mifflin Avenue Methodist Church with the Rev. Jack Piper officiating. Arrangements were handled by Jobe Funeral Home.
Trumble
Elaine D. Trumble of New Kensington, formerly of Oakmont, died March 31, 2001.
Born March 28, 1940, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Joseph and Mary Kopka Rogozinski. Mrs. Trumble was an aide at Verland Foundation in Bairdford Township.
Surviving are her children, Michael Trumble of Jefferson and Shari Hiller of Gibsonia; sisters, Carol Lohr, Mary Ann Ramsey and Geri Glenn; and two granddaughters.

Conklin
Clyde H. Conklin, 66, of Oakmont died July 27, 2001.
Mr. Conklin was a retired Post-Gazette carrier.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a member of Oakmont American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, June Conklin.
Surviving are his son, Clyde Conklin Jr. of Orange Park, Fla.; his sister, Mildred Meyers; brothers, Fred and Richard Conklin; and a grandson. Arrangements were handled by Thomas D. English Funeral Home.
Suchevich
Samuel Suchevich, 81, of Penn Hills died July 26, 2001.
Born Sept. 29, 1919, in Pittsburgh he was the son of Samuel and Jennie (Sudar) Suchevich.
He was a retired sheet metal worker at Universal Atlas Cement Division of U.S. Steel.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Suchevich was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Verona, the American Slovenian Citizens Association in Harmar and SNPJ.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Helen (Langus) Suchevich; sons, Thomas, Robert and James Suchevich; six grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Suchevich and Catherine Maiolo.
Lapusnak
Veronica Lapusnak, 94, of Frazier died July 27, 2001, at UPMC St. Margaret.
Surviving are her sons, Bernard of Indiana Township and Joseph Lapusnak of Memphis, Tenn.; daughters, Veronica Banyas of Frazier and Madeline Chinchilla of Lyons, Ill.; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Mary (Koval) Kravits; her husband, Frank Lapusnak; sons, Albert and Francis Lapusnak; a grandson; and a brother and four sisters.
Friends were received at Burket-Truby Funeral Home. Mass was at St. Francis Church with the Rev. Hugh McCormley officiating.
Interment was at Deer Creek Cemetery.
Carlson
Theresa S. Carlson, formerly of Oakmont, died July 22, 2001.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Carlson.
Surviving are her children, Carl Carlson of Wexford, Mary First of Bradford Woods and William Carlson of Sterling, Va.; brother, John Scharl of West View; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Heid
Herbert Heid, 73, of Verona died July 24, 2001, at UPMC St. Margaret.
Born July 1, 1928, he was the son of Ralph and Violet (Thorton) Heid.
Mr. Heid was retired from J&L Steel.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving is his brother, Ralph Heid of Plum Borough.
Arrangements were handled by Burket-Truby Funeral Home.
Interment was at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Soxman
Thomas Joseph Soxman, 57, of Penn Hills died July 24, 2001.
He was the son of Thomas Soxman and the late June Rose (Fisher) Soxman.
Mr. Soxman was the owner of Soxman Funeral Homes, Roth and Morasco chapels. He graduated with a degree in psychology from John Carroll University.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and went on to graduate from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1971.
His community membership included Kiwanis Club of Penn Hills, YMCA board member, Knights of Columbus #4242, Penn Hills Chamber of Commerce, Penn Hills Planning Commission, Universal Loyal Order of Moose and president of the board for Plum Senior Citizens Center. As a member of St. John the Baptist Church, he served as Eucharistic minister and on the pastoral council.
Surviving are his wife, Donna Soxman; his sons, Brian and Mark Soxman; siblings, Nikki and Phil Blough of Rhode Island; and 10 nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at Soxman Funeral Homes Morasco Chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of one's choice.
Gentile
Sabato "Sub" Gentile, 82, of Springdale Township in Harwick died Oct. 6, 2002.
Born on Feb. 24, 1920, in Wimber, he was a son of Raymond and Ruffalina Montemurro Gentile.
Mr. Gentile was a retired roof bolter for Renton Mine. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and Polish Club in Harwick.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Justine Gentile.
Surviving are his son, Samuel Gentile of Cheswick; daughters, Pamela Bailie of Creighton and Toni Zoller of Indiana Township; a brother, Joseph Gentile of Arnold; sisters, Caroline Beiber of Arnold, Mary Salvati of Arnold, Ida Cecchetti of Arnold, and Nina Gentile of Germany; and six grandchildren.

Fitzgerald
Marie Keenan Fitzgerald, 94, died Oct. 4, 2002.
Born on Nov. 5, 1907, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of James and Sarah Cunningham.
Mrs. Fitzgerald was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Fitzgerald Sr.; a son, John Fitzgerald; a sister, Sarah Anker; and brothers, James, John, Joseph, Paul, Dan, William, Edgar and Regis Keenan.
Surviving are her daughter, Mary Strauss of Penn Hills; a son, Edward Fitzgerald Jr. of Scott Township; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
