Emma P. Davison, 91, of Warrendale, formerly of Allison Park and Gibsonia, died on Dec. 24, at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born in Pittsburgh on Feb. 21, 1911, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Pauline Dengler Pitt.
She was a member of the Hampton Presbyterian Church for more than 60 years.
She and her husband were the former owners of Davison’s Red Barn on Route 8 in Penn Township. She was a member of the Nixon Socialites and the Tanglewood Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis L. Davison Sr., who died on March 10, 1980.
Surviving are two sons, Herbert A. Davison of Gibsonia and Willis L. Davison Jr. of Warrendale, two daughters, Emma Jean Walters of Glenwood, Md., and Martha Brown of Elliott City, Md., one brother, William Pitt of Pittsburgh, eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home in Mars.
Services were held at the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Breed, associate pastor at Hampton Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Howard
John “Jack” Blaise Howard, 84, of McCandless Township, died suddenly on Dec. 21.
Howard was a husband of 62 years to Beatrice Wiltman Howard; father to Judy Reilly of Mt. Lebanon and Marni McKnight of Sewickley.
He is also survived by his grandchildren Jay Reilly, Kate McKnight Van Slyke, Andy Reilly, Ben McKnight and Jill Reilly Cordon.
A memorial service was held at the Presbyterian Church of Sewickley.

Hynes
James A. Hynes, 92, of Valencia Woods Nursing Center, formerly of the Village at St. Barnabas in Gibsonia, and Cranberry Township, died on Dec. 25, at Valencia Woods.
Born in Pittsburgh on Feb. 16, 1910, he was the son of the late John and Marguerite McManus Hynes.
Hynes was a retired auto mechanic for Donaldson Motors in Pittsburgh. He was a member of St. Richard’s Roman Catholic Church in Gibsonia, and was a World War II Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Hayes Hynes, who died in 1987, and a nephew, John Hynes.
Surviving are three nieces, Carol Bickel of Las Vegas, Nev., Paulette Setler of San Francisco, Calif., and Janet Bunting of San Diego, Calif., three nephews, Charles Setler of Export, Allen Setler of Allentown and Thomas Setler of Stroudsburg. Also several great nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home in Mars. A blessing service was held at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Oldenski, pastor of St. Richard Roman Catholic Church, offiating.
Burial was in St. Teresa Catholic Church Cemetery in Pittsburgh.

Flowers
Dorothy A. Flowers, 61, of Cranberry Township died on Jan. 14 at UPMC Passavant Cranberry after a battle with cancer.
Born in Pittsburgh on Feb. 24, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Dorothy McElhaney Nichols.
She had been a school bus driver for the North Allegheny School District and was a member of the Victory Christian Fellowship Church in Cranberry Township, where she was a volunteer and bus driver.
Flowers was also a member of the Rose Chapter #188, Order of Eastern Star, North Hills.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Flowers, whom she married on Feb. 13, 1964, and who died on June 4, 1999.
Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Flowers of Harmony and Michele Flowers of Raleigh, N.C.; four brothers, Theodore Nichols of Gibsonia, John Nichols of Pittsburgh, Richard Nichols of Cranberry Township, and Ronald Nichols of Evans City; and nieces and nephews.
There was no visitation. A memorial service was held in Victory Christian Fellowship Church, with the Rev. John Nuzzo, pastor, officiating.
Memorials may be made to the church or to the American Cancer Society.
Cook
Dorothy S. Cook, 91, of Mars, formerly of Gibsonia, died on April 26 at UPMC Passavant Hospital.
Born in Harmony on August, 12, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Maime Schontz Schott.
She retired after more than 35 years with the North Pittsburgh Telephone Company, where she was an operator and supervisor, and belonged to the Retirees Club.
Mrs. Cook was also a member of the Bakerstown United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women of the Church and Mars AARP.
She was preceded in death by her first husband John F. Cook, who died in 1939, her second husband, Howard W. Cook, who died in 1988, five brothers, John, Frank, Warren, George and Harold Schott, and three sisters, Stella Marshall, Pearl Watson and Jessie Hollerman.
She is survived by her companion, Louis Strazisar of Valencia; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Kennedy of Mars; two sisters, Betty Shidemantle of Harmony and Hazel White of Cranberry Township; two grandchildren, Cherie Smith of Chippewa and Charles W. Kennedy; and seven great-grandchildren, Stacie and Derek Bruce, Paul and Rebecca Smith and Andrew, Clayton and Brittany Kennedy.
Keenan
Kevin D. Keenan, 56, of Mars, formerly of McCandless Township, died on April 25 after an illness.
Born in Pittsburgh on October 24, 1946, he was the son of Dennis and Evelyn Brennan Keenan of Wexford.
Keenan worked for Asbestos Union Local 2 in Pittsburgh and was a member of St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church in Mars.
He is survived by his parents; his fiancée, Kristina Schweiger of Mars; three sons, Korey Keenan of McCandless, Kasey Keenan of Hopewell and Ricky Schweiger of Mars; two daughters, Kelly Callen of Aliquippa and Karra Keenan of Hopewell; three sisters, Kathy Davidson of Wexford, Kerry Mulkearn of Findley Lake, N.Y. and Kolleen Kuitune of Mars; also two grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Dawson
Debra C. Dawson, 49, of Allison Park, formerly of Hong Kong and Taiwan, died on May 10.
Dawson was a news reporter, homemaker, businesswoman and Sunday school teacher.
She is survived by her husband, Sanford Dawson; a daughter, Kelly; a son, Kevin; siblings, Chung Tai of Taiwan, Eric Chung Wei-Ken, Mona Chung and Tai-Ying of Hong Kong and several nieces and nephews, Elin Mok, Elizabeth Mok, Katherine Mok, Erin Chung, Chung Lei-Lei, Chung Huai-Sheng, Christine Chen, Gary Chen, Kevin Chen, Annie Messing and David Messing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chung Ming-Hui and Chung Liu Fu-Sung of Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Services will be held in the town of McCandless. Interment will be in Hong Kong.

Ruth D. Boyles, 93, died Thursday, March 8, 2001. Wife of the late Richard H. Boyles; mother of Ann B. Watson and her husband James G. Watson of Tulsa, Okla., and Dorothy B. Beckwith and her husband G. Nicholas Beckwith, III, of Fox Chapel; grandmother of William G. Watson, III of Tulsa, Okla., Richard B. Watson of Austin, Texas, G. Nicholas Beckwith IV, of Philadelphia, Pa. and Curt G. Beckwith of Providence, R.I.; also survived by four great-grandchildren. Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 7 to p.m. in the parlor of Fox Chapel Episcopal Church, 630 Squaw Run Road East, where a memorial service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Interment is private. Pauline Hunley Repp, 80, of Akron, Ohio, and formerly of Pine Township, died May 23.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Repp Jr.
Surviving are four sons, Ronald Repp of Silver Lake, Ohio, Dennis Repp of Cranberry Township, Kenneth Repp of Elyria, Ohio, and Gary Repp of Akron, Ohio; one daughter, Donna Dudones of Ravenna, Ohio; two brothers, Paul Hunley of Gig Harbor, Wash., and Lloyd Hunley of Grand Junction, Colo.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Hunley, and a sister, Estelle Johnston.
Friends were received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home May 26.

Osthoff
Henry Osthoff, 59, of Middlesex Township, formerly of Shaler and Hampton townships, died June 7 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.
Born in Shaler Township on July 30, 1943, he was the son of the late Walter and Mytle Myer Osthoff. He was a plumber and excavator and owned Osthoff Plumbing and Excavating. He had been a member of Ducks Unlimited and the National Rifle Association.
Surviving are his wife, Carroll Bailey Osthoff, whom he married Sept. 25, 1965; a daughter, Stacey Osthoff of Middlesex Township; two sisters, Elizabeth Campbell of Middlesex Township and Madeline Daniels of Fla.; a brother, Chuck Osthoff of Gibsonia; and nieces and nephews.
Service was at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Mahoney, pastor of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church officiating.
