Her unexpected passing occurred in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, where she was admitted several hours earlier. Born Aug. 21, 1964, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of Patrick J. and Carolyn L. (Goss) Bosco, Seabrook, Md. Ann-Renee' was a graduate of Rochester High School, attended the Penn State Beaver Campus, and was a graduate of the Geneva College paralegal program. She attended St. Cecelia Catholic Church, Rochester, and was currently employed with Citizen Banking Company (Century National Bank) at the Chippewa office, as a teller. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons, Chad and Lucas Borghi; her ex-husband, Jeff Borghi, Rochester; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Patricia and her husband, Jeff Michel, Monaca, and Sarah Bosco, Seabrook, Md.; a brother and sister-in-law, Patrick Bosco and his wife, Tawny, Coral Springs, Fla.; her maternal grandparents, John and Catherine Goss, Monaca, and several loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. in the SIMPSON FUNERAL HOME, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, where prayers will be offered on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca. Final resting place will be in the Garden of the Lilies of Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
Lois Dame Cummings, 82, of Mooresville, N.C., died Monday morning, Feb. 8, 1999, in the Brian Center Health and Retirement, Mooresville, N.C. Born Jan. 22, 1917, in Coraopolis, a daughter of the late Leslie and Edith Robson Dame, she was a former owner and operator, along with her late husband, of the Cummings Pharmacy, Imperial, for over 24 years. She was a member of the Valley Presbyterian Church, Imperial. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John "Buzz" Cummings, on Sept. 21, 1952; a son, Capt. Jan Cummings, on Feb. 6, 1971; two brothers, Wilbur and Leslie Dame, and a sister, Hazel Dame. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Todd Carey, Mooresville, N.C.; a sister, Ellen Rieger, Mount Lebanon; three grandchildren, Mark and Jon Cummings, and Brandon Ziel; a step-granddaughter, Sara Carey, and a great-grandchild. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. only in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Route 30, Clinton, where services will be held Thursday at noon. The Rev. Dr. Thomas R. Petrosky, of the Valley Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald, Pa. Margaret A. Dushac, 74, of Aliquippa, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, in UPMC - Beaver Valley. Born Aug. 10, 1924, in Struthers, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late John and Julia (Smolinski) Chervenka. Mrs. Dushac was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church and St. Titus Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Dushac; a brother, William Chervenka, and a sister, Mildred Edmondson. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Harry M. and Anita Dushac, Indiana, Pa.; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Bill Fontana, Hopewell Township; four grandchildren, Lucas and Kendra Dushac, and Eric and Craig Fontana; two brothers and a sister-in-law, John Chervenka, Ambridge, and Paul and Rita Chervenka, Aliquippa; a sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Harold Konter, Coraopolis, and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Caroline E. "Carrie" Espey, 78, of Freedom, formerly of Anthony Wayne Terrace, Baden, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, following an extended illness. Born Dec. 22, 1920, in Moon Township, a daughter of the late George and Catherine Seifert McCutcheon, she was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Baden; Christian Mothers of the church; Baden Senior Citizens; Baden Circle of Friends, and the Badenites. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Espey, in 1988, and three brothers, John, Walter and George McCutcheon. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Richard Yannachione, with whom she resided in Freedom; a grandson, Richard Yannachione Jr. and his wife, Hope, and a step-great-grandson, Joshua Kolich, all of New Brighton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wilbert " Bill" and Marge McCutcheon, Crescent Township, and Westley and Beverly McCutcheon, Hialeah, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Ann Espey, Baden, and brothers-in-law, William Espey and his wife, Eleanor, Hopewell Township, and Ben Espey and his wife, Betty; Roy Espey and his wife, Eunice, and Al Espey, all of Aliquippa. Lawrence Haynes Sr., of 638 Monaca Road, Hopewell Township, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999. Born May 8, 1912, in Centreville, Miss., he was a member of the Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church where he formerly served on the trustee board. He was retired from J&L Steel Company. Surviving are his loving wife of 43 years, Salatha Freeman Haynes; four sons and two daughters-in-law, W.O. Haynes, San Francisco, Calif.; the Rev. Lawrence Jr. and Elaine Haynes, Aliquippa; Keith O. Haynes, Hopewell Township, and Trent and Karen Haynes, Moon Township; four grandchildren, Brooks, Lawrence III, Lovelle and Bettina Haynes; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Thomas and Joyce Haynes, Gloster, Miss., and Richard Lee Dudley, Vallejo, Calif.; two sisters, Emma Lee Crump, Shreveport, La., and Lizzie Haynes, Centreville, Miss.; a devoted nephew, Milton H. Vaclav (Misha) Hlavaty, M.D., husband of Jana Hlavaty, died February 5, 1999. William Hummel, 87, of North Sewickley Township, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, in St. Johns Lutheran Home, Mars. Mr. Hummel was born July 19, 1911, in Eastvale, to the late Leonard and Edith Hahn Hummel. His wife, the former, Gertrude Kopriva Hummel, to whom he was married for more than 50 years, died in 1987. He was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, Parian Lodge 662 F&AM, and the Valley of New Castle Ancient Accepted Scotish Rite. He was an owner and operator of North Sewickley Coal Company. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William F. and Lois Hummel, North Sewickley Township; a daughter and son-in-law, Marion and Robert Marziano, North Sewickley Township; a sister, Grace Manzelowski; three grandchildren, Cheryl Bentley, William C. Hummel and Robert Marziano Jr., and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Vera Kemp, and six brothers, Leonard, Norman, Wilbur, Howard, Charles and David Hummel. Anna M. Fronko Inhoff, 100, of Monaca, passed away Saturday evening, Feb. 6, 1999, in the Beaver Valley Geriatric Center, where she entered the previous day. She was fondly known as "Aunt Annie" to her family, friends, and many of her acquaintances. Born Jan. 8, 1899, in Austria-Hungary, the daughter of the late Martin and Anna (Seifert) Heffinger, she and her family came to the United States in 1900, and settled in Monaca where she remained her entire life. A homemaker, she was a member of the Lutheran Church of The Redeemer; a life member of the Beaver Valley Sportsman Club Auxiliary; the Monaca VFD 4 Auxiliary, and the American Legion Post 580 Auxiliary, all of Monaca. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Matthew Fronko, in 1936; her second husband, Stephen Inhoff, in 1969; two sons, Charles Edward Fronko and Theodore Fronko, who was killed while serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II in Italy, in 1943; a brother, Frank Heffinger; a stepson, Joseph Inhoff, and a stepdaughter, Zanna Wilkinson. She leaves a son and daughter-in-law, with whom she resided, Robert and Jean Fronko, Monaca; a daughter and son-in-law, Rose and LeRoy Basinger, Monaca; four grandchildren, Pamela Fronko, Morgantown, W. Va., and James, Scott, and Ted Basinger, all of Monaca; a great-grandson, James Basinger Jr.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Carlotta (Inhoff) Kennedy, in Arizona; a stepdaughter-in-law, Jean Inhoff, Newport Richey, Fla.; four step-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren. Margaret Mary Kotula, 86, of Ambridge, died Monday, Feb. 8, 1999, in the Rochester Manor, Rochester, following an extended illness. Born April 15, 1912, in Eleanora, Pa., a daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Shema Lazorchak, she had resided in Ambridge for 63 years. She was a member of St. Marys Byzantine Catholic Church, Ambridge; the Rosary Society of the church, and the GCU Lodge 972 of Ambridge. She is survived by her husband, Joseph G. Kotula; three sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph M. and Bessie Kotula, Bell Acres; Bernie and Donna Kotula, Palm City, Fla., and Ted and Judy Kotula, Ambridge; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Carmen Joseph (Joe) Marmo Sr., 68, of Baden, died unexpectedly Monday, Feb. 8, 1999, in The Medical Center, Beaver. Born Dec. 15, 1930, in East Liberty, a son of the late Anthony and Margaret Bordanaro Marmo, he was a salesman, actor, and most recently a cooking and drama teacher at the Beaver County Community College, and was a beggar for his church. He was a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Conway, where he was a tireless worker. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Stasik; three sons, Gary, in Florida; Anthony, Cheswick, and Carmen Jr., Apollo; a daughter, Marian Ritchie, Rural Ridge; 11 grandchildren; a brother, Joseph, Springfield, Va.; two sisters, Mary Rose Marmo, Tarentum, and Phyllis Bowser, Brackenridge, and also numerous nieces and nephews.
