Posted By: GenealogyBuff.com Mica Janosevich, 73, of Aliquippa, died Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, in UPMC - Beaver Valley. Born June 5, 1925, in Yugoslavia, she was a member of St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church and the St. Elijah Circle of Serbian Sisters. Surviving are her husband, Vitomir Janosevich; a son and daughter-in-law, Danilo and Lana Janosevich, Coraopolis; a daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Mark Kohlhepp, Kingston, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Jonathan and Bruce Kohlhepp, and Danilo Jr. and Colette Janosevich, and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the WAYNE N. TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME, 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, where a service will be conducted Monday at 9:30 a.m., followed by an additional service at 10 a.m. in St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church, Aliquippa. Interment will follow in the church Cemetery, Hopewell Township. Pomen (blessing service) will be held today at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
Dr. William Kerr, of Middletown, Conn., formerly of Monaca, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999, at his home. Dr. Kerr had recently retired as Provost of Wesleyan University. He was associated with this university for most of his professional life. He was a graduate of Princeton University and received his doctoral degree from Harvard University. He was born on June 19, 1923. William Kerr was a son of Dr. and Mrs. Clarence W. Kerr. Dr. Clarence Kerr was pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Monaca and was instrumental in the construction of the present church facilities. There will be a memorial service at Wesleyan University on Friday, Feb. 26, 1999. Interment will take place in the family plot in Greenfield, Ohio.
Jennie Onesta Kinlock, 72, a lifelong resident of Moon Township, died Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, in Sewickley Valley Hospital. Born May 27, 1926, in Leetonia, Ohio, a daughter of the late Louis and Josephine (Yankello) Onesta, she was a homemaker and a member of St. Margaret Mary Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Kinlock; a grandson, Joey Kinlock; three sisters, Rosie Carrioti, Caroline Stokes, and Lena Stokes, and a brother, Tony Onesta. Surviving are four sons and their wives, John L. and Laverne Kinlock, West Aliquippa; Joseph J. and Cathy Kinlock, Rochester; James M. and Renate, in Germany, and Jerrold A. and Carol Kinlock, Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Margaret Nester, Mars, Pa.; two brothers, Joseph Onesta, McKees Rocks, and Bill Onesta, in California; 16 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in the COPELAND MOON TOWNSHIP FUNERAL HOME, 981 Brodhead Rd. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Church with her minister, the Rev. Father John Ayoob, officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Catherine R. Kubia, 87, formerly of Ambridge, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, in Warner Robins, Ga. Born March 14, 1911, in Madera, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Victoria Doleshetsky Russin, she was a member of the Ambridge United Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kubia Jr., in 1988. Surviving are a son, John Kubia III, Warner Robins, Ga.; a daughter, Anne Victoria Hetler, Benicia, Calif.; two brothers, Pete Russin, Monaca, and Alexander Russin, Philadelphia, Pa.; a sister, Olga Russin, Centerville, Ga.; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the MATTER-TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME, 1133 Church St., Ambridge, where a service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. Entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum. The family suggests donations be made, if desired, to the Hospice of Houston County, 2066 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, Ga. 31093.
Stephen G. Lokey, 81, of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Beaver Falls, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999, in Harborside Health Care of Clearwater Nursing Home, Clearwater. Born April 16, 1917, in Spangler, Pa., a son of the late George Sr. and Mary Simsack Lokey, he was a mail carrier for the Beaver Falls Post Office and had served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Mary Sebastian Lokey; two sons, Stephen G. Lokey Jr., Clearwater, Fla., and George Lokey, Coraopolis; two grandchildren, Christopher and Patricia Lokey, Coraopolis; four brothers, and four sisters. Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the CAMPBELL'S BEAVER FALLS FUNERAL HOME, 14th Street and Eighth Avenue, where prayers will be conducted Monday at 9:20 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Christ the Divine Teacher Catholic Church, Chippewa Township, celebrated by the Rev. Father Harry R. Sangl. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, in St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Struthers, Ohio, for Clem "Bo" Migliore, age 68, who died Friday, Feb. 5, 1999, after a long illness. He was born in Midland, Pa., and moved to Ohio 32 years ago. He was a 1948 graduate of Midland High School. Surviving are five sons, Thomas and Gregory, both of Columbus, Ohio; Dr. David and Dr. Terrance, both of Dover, Ohio, and Matthew, Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Miss Dionne Migliore and Ms. Michelle Gallagher, both of Struthers, Ohio; three brothers, Angelo, Beaver Falls; Anthony, Beaver, and Jim, Midland; five grandchildren, and two aunts, Mrs. Jeana Vilsack and Josephine Ranelli, both of Midland. Arrangements were handled by the CLEMENTE-McKAY FUNERAL HOME, 700 Fifth St., Struthers, Ohio.
Isabella Musser, 80, of Vanport, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, at 7 p.m. in The Medical Center, Beaver. Born Oct. 23, 1918, in Webster, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Nelson Sr. and Isabella Stinogle Douglass, of Elizabeth, Pa. Surviving are her husband, James Musser, Vanport; two daughters, Mrs. Gene (Marilyn) Downey, Vanport, and Mrs. Betty Workman, Lincoln, Neb.; three sons, Melvin T. Wakefield (Ruth), Georgetown; Robert Wakefield (Donna), Rochester, and Joseph Wakefield (Jennifer), Vanport, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Isabella is also survived three sisters, Mrs. Grace Douglass Pierce, Monongahela, Pa.; Mrs. George (Margaret) Robbie, Monaca, and Mrs. Ralph (Sylvia) Motter, Monaca, and six brothers, Mr. Nelson Douglass Jr., Elizabeth, Pa.; Mr. Raymond (Eleanor) Douglass, Newport News, Va.; Mr. Robert (Mae) Douglass, Port Richey, Fla.; Mr. Samuel (Ruth) Douglass, Pittsburgh; Mr. Charles (Grace) Douglass, Spring Grove, Pa., and Mr. Leonard (Carole) Douglass, Clairton, Pa. There was no visitation or services, although a private memorial service was conducted for family only at the Community Hall, Van Buren Homes, Vanport, Pa., on Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that friends or relatives donate to a favorite charity in her name.
Julia A. Neel, 86, a lifelong resident of Coraopolis, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, in Sewickley Valley Hospital. Born Aug. 11, 1912, in Groveton, Pa., a daughter of the late John C. and Theresa (Hennel) Almacy, she was formerly employed by Moon Area Schools, Silks and Tweeds, and the Adele Shop. She was a member of Neville Island Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen D. Neel, in 1966. Surviving are a daughter and son and their spouses, Judith and Dave Roth, Moon Township, and Glen and Rose Neel, Freedom; four grandchildren, Debra Roth, Judy Manios, Glen Neel, and Kelly Nau; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth (John) Bundy, Moon Township; two sisters-in-law, Lena (Ted) Almacy, Annapolis, Md., and Sharon (Edward) Almacy, Coraopolis, and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the COPELAND CORAOPOLIS FUNERAL HOME, 867 Fifth Ave., where a funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Barry Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Coraopolis Cemetery.
William E. "Packy" Paquet Sr., 69, of South Beaver Township, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, at his residence. Born Nov. 18, 1929, in McDonald, Pa., a son of the late Alphonse and Sylvia Behling Paquet, he worked in the seamless pipe division of Armco Steel for 38 years and was a driver for the Beaver County Times. He was a member of St. John's Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, Ambridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Roy Paquet. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Phyllis E. (Hendricks) Paquet; three sons and daughters-in-law, William E. Jr. and Lisa Paquet, Hastings, Minn.; David C. and Lynn Hopkins, Ellwood City, and Stacey S. and Dawn Hopkins, Masury, Ohio; four grandchildren, Jilliane and Steffanie Paquet, and Samantha and Brody Hopkins; a brother, Edward Leon Paquet, McDonald; a sister, Vera Hill, McDonald, and numerous nieces and nephews. A private family visitation was held. CAMPBELL'S CHIPPEWA FUNERAL HOME was in charge of all arrangements. Hazel L. "Bicky" Park, 73, of Rochester Township, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, in The Medical Center, Beaver. Born June 8, 1925, in Altoona, a daughter of the late Alvin and Maude Riggleman Nagle, she was a retired employee of the Kmart store in Rochester, and was a member of the Rochester Womens Civic Ten Pin Bowling League. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Harold "Ted" Park; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ted and Ruth Park, Rochester, and Ronald and Kathy Park, Brighton Township; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Thelma Nagle, Philadelphia, and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Madeline Fahr, Baltimore, Md., and Isabelle and Richard Porter, Philadelphia. Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the HUNTSMAN ROCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, 502 Adams St., where a service will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m., by the Rev. Robert T. Singleton. Private interment
will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
