Born Jan. 1, 1910, in Italy, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Iaccobucci, she was a member of St. Titus Roman Catholic Church and the Queens of Columbus, both of Aliquippa. Mrs. D'Alessandris was preceded in death by her husband, Luigi D'Alessandris, in 1996; a sister, and two brothers. Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. John (Marie) Babich and Mary DelGreco, both of Aliquippa, and many nieces and nephews from the Palma and D'Alessandris families. Friends will be received today from 5 to 8 p.m. in the WAYNE N. TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME, 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, where a service will be conducted Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Hopewell Township. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hopewell Township.
Patricia E. Derrett, 58, of 52 South First St., Coal Township, Pa. 17866, died Saturday, March 6, 1999, in her home. Born Dec. 10, 1940, in Ambridge, a daughter of Genevive Magdalinski Peck, of Shamokin, Pa., and the late Michael Peck, she lived in Shamokin since 1986 and was a resident of Coal Township for the past seven months. She was a personal caregiver, home health aide, and attended Ambridge Area Schools, having graduated high school there. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are two sons, Michael, Eau Claire, Wis., and David, Pittsburgh; two grandchildren; a sister, Joanne Peck, Shamokin; her companion, Jack Stamets, Shamokin; nieces, a great-niece and great-nephews. Charles S. DeVinney, 85, of New Brighton, died Monday, March 8, 1999, in The Medical Center, Beaver. Born Jan. 13, 1914, in Fallston, a son of the late Philip and Flora Weigel DeVinney, he was retired from Townsend Textron in Ellwood City after 45 years of service. He was a member of the Beaver County Sr. Citizens Area 6, F.O.E. 1883, New Brighton; Beaver County Retired Men's Club, New Brighton; AARP 25 Year Club, New Brighton Volunteer Fire Department for 15 years, New Brighton Area School Board for three terms, and a member of the Westminister United Presbyterian Church, New Brighton. He is survived by his wife, Jean J. Wilson DeVinney; a son, Bruce DeVinney, Patterson Heights; a brother, Paul DeVinney, New Brighton, and a sister, JoAnn Majzlik, New Brighton. He was preceded in death by a son, Phillip W. DeVinney; a brother, Robert DeVinney, in 1984; three sisters, Grace Majzlik, in 1974; Edith Funkhouser, in 1978, and Ruth Scheidemantle, in 1998. Mary Fedyski, 93, of Brighton Township, died Sunday, March 7, 1999, in the Beaver Valley Geriatric Center. Born Jan. 28, 1906, in McKees Rocks, a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Morszyn Barnick, she was a retired cook from St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Rochester. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Monaca; Third Order of St. Francis, and the Christian Mothers of St. Cecilia. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Postupac; her second husband, Steve Fedyski; a son, Peter Postupac; a daughter, Anna Postupac; two sisters, Ann Dimerling and Kate Sirey, and three brothers, Pete, Steve and Tom Barnick. Surviving are four daughters and two sons-in-law, Ann L. Postupac, Monaca; Helen Young, Rochester; Mary J. and Richard Nichol, Monaca, and Patricia and Gary Ankney, Valrico, Fla.; a son, George Postupac, New Brighton; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Byrl Barnick, Raymond, Wash., and three sisters, Helen Miller, Norfolk, Va.; Julia King, Northfield, Minn., and Louise Hefner, St. Louis, Mo. William F. Kaylor, 70, of Center Township, passed away Sunday, March 7, 1999, in The Medical Center, Beaver, where he recently underwent surgery. Born Aug. 18, 1928, in Aliquippa, a son of the late Raymond and Edna Dumbaugh Kaylor, he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Army from December 1945 to June 1947. Bill was a member of the Polish National Alliance Lodge 841 in Monaca where he had served as a director for eight years, and was an active member of the Monaca-Center Lions Club since becoming a member in 1985. He was also a member of the Monaca American Legion Post 580 and the Monaca VFW Post 4653. He retired in 1985 as a millwright from the LTV Steel Corp. Aliquippa Works. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan Blackledge Kaylor in December 1966; his second wife, Phyllis Grabosky Kaylor in April 1997; a son-in-law, Gary Elmer, on July 15, 1997, and four brothers, Raymond, John, Vincent and Richard Kaylor. He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Nancy and Mark Tanski and Debbie Kaylor Elmer, all of Monaca; a son and daughter-in-law, William F. and Amy Kaylor, Brighton Township; six grandchildren, Tracy, Brian and Gary Jr. Elmer, and Chelsea, Brett and Andrew Kaylor; three step-grandchildren, Jesse, Brandon and Andrew Fulton; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Darlene Kaylor, Connellsville, and two sisters, Annamae Cheetham, Zelienople, and Charlotte Kaylor, in Oregon, and numerous nieces and nephews. Marilyn G. Krzemienski, 69, of Beaver Falls, died Saturday, March 6, 1999, at her residence. Born Jan. 20, 1930, in New Brighton, a daughter of the late Carl H. Wolf and Gertrude Winters Wolf, she was a lifetime resident of Beaver Falls. She was formerly employed with the Babcock and Wilcox Tubular Products Division, and the City of Beaver Falls. She was a member of the Concord United Methodist Church, and volunteered for the Beaver County Association of the Blind in Beaver Falls, the Beaver Falls Youth Baseball Association, and the Anna Roush Homemaker of the Blind. She is survived by her husband, Ted A. Krzemienski; two daughters and a son-in-law, Cindy Kozora, Bridgewater, and Candy and Steve Bomberger, North Sewickley Township; an aunt, Laura Brooks, Cleveland, Ohio, and seven grandchildren, Melissa Marsh, Heather Marsh, Jaylynn Bomberger, and Sabrina Bomberger, all of North Sewickley Township, and Jennalynn Kozora, Meagan Kozora, and Ryan Kozora, all of Bridgewater. She was preceded in death by her parents. Primio Lalama, 70, of Aliquippa, died Sunday, March 7, 1999, in UPMC-Beaver Valley. Born Oct. 26, 1928, in Pacentro, Italy, he was the son of the late Concezio and Bambina (Peluso) Lalama, and was very proud to become a United States Citizen. Mr. Lalama was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church; M.P.I. Club; S.O.I. Club 305; Ukrainian Club, and the Celtics Red Club, all of Aliquippa. He was a retired employee of Shenango, Neville Island, where he worked as a chipper. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Lalama, Aliquippa; two sons and daughters-in-law, and four daughters and sons-in-law, Norma and Jesus Mora, Valencia, Venezuala; Fanny and Greg LoPinto, Robinson Township; Concezio (James) and Diane Lalama, Aliquippa; Primo F. and MaryJane Lalama, Aliquippa; Bina and Patrick Vedro, Center Township, and Brenda and Chris Colalella, Aliquippa. In addition to his children, he is also survived by seven loving grandchildren; a sister, Rose Pelino, in Michigan; a brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Catherine Lalama, Hopewell Township, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lalama was preceded in death by an infant sister, Rose Lalama, and his brother-in-law, Frank Pelino. Anna J. Lindner, 81, of 88 Main St., Enon Valley, passed away, Monday, March 8, 1999, at 4 a.m. in the Beaver Valley Geriatric Center, Brighton Township, where she had been a patient for the past year. Born May 28, 1917, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Furnius Pilner, she had resided in Enon Valley for over 60 years. She was a member of the Enon Valley Presbyterian Church, and was a past Grand of the Arwilda Rebekah Lodge 566, Enon Valley. Her husband, John E. Lindner, whom she married Jan. 14, 1935, preceded her in death on March 14, 1988. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Pilner, and a sister, Mrs. Katherine Bennett. She is survived by three sons, John E. and Thomas D. Lindner, both of Darlington, and Harry B. Lindner, Midland; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley A. Gorby, East Palestine, Ohio; two brothers, Martin Pilner, New Castle, and George Pilner, Ellwood City; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Searfoss, New Castle; 13 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Hazel I. Geddis Lucas, 92, of 704 Armstrong Lane, East Liverpool, Ohio, died Saturday, March 6, 1999, at 2:26 a.m. in the East Liverpool City Hospital, following a brief illness. Born Oct. 7, 1906, in Sharon, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Mina Geddis, she was a lifetime resident of Wellsville, Ohio. She was a cutter on the print crew for more than 25 years at the Sterling China Company, and was a Presbyterian by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard H. Lucas, on Dec. 21, 1981. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Juanita Perkins, Daytona Beach, Fla.; a son, Richard D. Lucas, Beaver Falls; seven grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held Monday morning at Spring Hill Cemetery, Wellsville, Ohio. Interment followed in Spring Hill Cemetery. Joseph Patrick McGowan, 61, of Daugherty Township, died unexpectedly, Monday, March 8, 1999, in his home. Born Dec. 27, 1937, in Pittsburgh, he was raised by the late John P. and Eugenia (Acker) McGowan Sr. He was a resident of Daugherty Township all of his life, where he worked the farm, and was a member of the Catholic Community of Holy Family Parish, New Brighton. Friends will be received Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until time of prayers at 9:30 a.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church, 7th Avenue Parish, with the Rev. Father Harry E. Parsons, officiating.
