He was a training manager at the Digital and Applied Imaging Division of Eastman Kodak, Rochester, N.Y. Surviving are his wife, Lisbeth "Beth" Trumpeter Radzyminski; two sons, Jeffrey and Kevin; two sisters, and a brother. Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 7, 1999, at 3 p.m. in Pearce Memorial Church.
Chad Jason Webster, 21, of 702 North Ave., Brighton Township, died Monday, March 8, 1999, in Cleveland Clinic, following a lengthy illness. Born Nov. 12, 1977, in Rochester, a son of James Edward Webster, Sharon Grove, Ky., and Loretta Ann Leaf, Brighton Township, he was a former employee of Meyer's Quick Lube, Beaver. A 1997 Beaver High School graduate, he was a student at the University of New Haven, West Haven, Conn. He was Presbyterian by faith. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Jamie Webster, Pittsburgh; maternal grandparents, Charles and Frances Leaf, Brighton Township, and an aunt and uncle, Linda and James Casteel, and cousins, Amy and T.J. Casteel, all of Hollywood, Fla. A number of other aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the TODD FUNERAL HOME, 340 Third St. Beaver, where a funeral service will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. by Pastor Pete Daniels. Gladys Irene Baker, 75, of 478 Jefferson Ave., Vanport, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, in Villa St. Joseph, Baden. Born June 17, 1923, in Rochester, a daughter of the late Imbrie and Margaret D. Davidson Baker, she was a retired employee of the P&LE Railroad, Pittsburgh. She was a member of the Bridgewater Presbyterian Church, the YMCA and the NARVE. She is survived by a sister, Sarah Jane McGuckin, Vanport and numerous cousins. Friends will be received Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the TODD FUNERAL HOME, 340 Third St., Beaver, where a service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. by Pastor William Silver. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Township.
Harold D. "Jack" Cecil, 70, of Harmony Township, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, in Allegheny General Hospital. Born April 2, 1928, in Imperial, Pa., a son of the late Elmer and Mae Jordan Cecil, he was retired from the Aliquippa Works, Jones & Laughlin Steel Corp. He belonged to the Good Samaritan Roman Catholic Church. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he was a member of the Ambridge Country Club, where he served on the board of directors. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Cecil; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard A. and Linda Cecil, Imperial, and three sisters and a brother-in-law, Alice J. Williams, and Betty L. and James Lonchiek, all of Imperial, and Michelle Borkoski, Sheraden, Pa. Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the WALTER R. KASPER FUNERAL HOME, 547 Eighth St., Ambridge, where a service will be held Friday at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in the Good Samaritan St. Veronica Worship Site. The Rev. James Kunkel will officiate. Burial will be in the church Cemetery, Fair Oaks. Members of the Christian Mothers and the Ladies Guild will recite a rosary today at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
Attilio Peter D'Amico, 86, of Aliquippa, and a resident of Villa St. Joseph, Baden, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, in UPMC - Beaver Valley. Born June 1, 1912, in Italy, a son of the late Peter and Antoinette (Pelino) D'Amico, he was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church, Aliquippa. Mr. D'Amico was a retired foreman from the North Mills Pipe Shop of the Aliquippa Works, Jones & Laughlin Steel Corp. Mr. D'Amico was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Ruth (Suhayda) D'Amico; a sister, Lena Pazzanita, and a brother, Joseph D'Amico. Surviving are a son, Peter A. D'Amico; a daughter and son-in-law, Marlene "Cookie" and Edward Pontis; three loving grandchildren, Edward D. and Carol Pontis, Kimberly and Colan Alford, and Peter M. D'Amico; three great-grandchildren, Brandon, Dustin and Kimberly Pontis; a sister, Biondi Paluzzi; a brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Audrey D'Amico, and several nieces and nephews. Raymond A. French, 57, of Aliquippa, died Wednesday, March 10, 1999, in UPMC - Beaver Valley. Born Oct. 23, 1941, in Aliquippa, he was a son of Jean (Orr) French, of Aliquippa, and the late Raymond N. French. Mr. French was a retired employee of the blooming mill of LTV Steel, Aliquippa. Amanda Beichner Groom, 69, of Patterson Township, died Wednesday, March 10, 1999, in The Medical Center, Beaver. Born Nov. 21, 1929, in New Brighton, a daughter of the late William and Minnie Milliron Beichner, she was a retired employee of the former Westinghouse Electric, Beaver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Blair B. Groom, in 1987, and a son, Terry E. Groom, in 1997. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Donna Groom, and Dale and Sue Groom, all of Patterson Township; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. John (Joan) Larson, Chippewa Township; Sandra Vandevort, Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. James (Mary Lou) Spickerman, Margate, Fla., and several nieces and nephews. Anthony W. "Tony" Gulish, 45, of Rochester, passed away, Wednesday, March 10, 1999, in The Medical Center, Beaver. Born May 19, 1953 in Sewickley, a son of the late Mary Elizabeth Broderick Gulish, who passed away in 1994, and Mike Gulish Jr., Rochester, he was an employee of the N.F.& M. International of Monaca and a member of St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Rochester. John F. Kenny, 85, of Beaver Falls, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, in The Medical Center, Beaver. Born June 22, 1913, in Cannelton, Pa., a son of the late Patrick Andrew and Alma Majors Kenny, he retired from Babcock and Wilcox, Beaver Falls, in 1975 as a furnace operator in the Cold Drawn Department. He was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Beaver Falls, where he was an usher for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida May Barr Kenny, on Sept. 12, 1983. Surviving are his children, Mrs. Virginia (Robert) King, Sarasota, Fla.; Mr. James S. Kenny, in Washington; Mrs. Patricia (Richard) Dixon, South Beaver Township; Mrs. Loretta (Edward) Scharrenberg, Penn Hills, Pa., and Mr. John E. (Debroah) Kenny, Kansas City, Mo.; 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Richard L. Krane, 49, a Moon Township resident for the past 25 years, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, in UPMC-Passavant. Born Aug. 4, 1949, in Pittsburgh, he was an account executive for Moraine Group, Inc. in Mars, and was formerly employed by Wausau Insurance Co. for 21 years. Mr. Kane served as president of the Pinch Hitter Club for the Moon Township Baseball Association, and was a graduate of West Virginia University. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce (Berardi) Krane; his mother, Dorothy (Kiley) Krane, Pittsburgh, and a son, Ryan R. Krane, Moon Township. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard J. Krane. Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the COPELAND MOON TOWNSHIP FUNERAL HOME, 981 Brodhead Road. A service is scheduled for Saturday.
