Born Feb. 13, 1905, in Franklin, N.C., a daughter of the late William and Nancy Ramey Stamey, she was a member of the Aliquippa Baptist Temple. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Edward Cunningham, Dewey Ashcraft and Delmas Palmer; four brothers; four sisters; a grandson, Larry Cunningham, and a daughter-in-law, Laura Cunningham. Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Earl Cunningham, Vernon and Martha Cunningham, and Paul Edward and Mae Cunningham, all of Aliquippa; a stepdaughter, Donna Hall, Monaca; a sister-in-law, Rae Cunningham, Aliquippa; six grandchildren, Pastor Ronald Cunningham, Cindy Lavezzo, Susan Summer, Dan Cunningham, Marian Dickinson and Linda Cunningham; 12 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the HUNTSMAN ALIQUIPPA FUNERAL HOME, 2345 Mill St., where a service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m., by her pastor and grandson, the Rev. Ronald Cunningham. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Charles J. "Buck" Roebuck Jr., 22, of Cranberry Township, died Sunday, March 21, 1999, as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident. Born May 18, 1976, in Sewickley, he was a son of Charles and Patricia Sisley Roebuck Sr., New Sewickley Township. He was an employee of TRACO Industries, Cranberry Township. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Steve Roebuck, and a sister, Lisa Roebuck, both of New Sewickley Township; his paternal grandparents, Frank and Beverley Roebuck, New Sewickley Township; paternal grandmother, Sara Gordon, Ellwood City; maternal grandparents, Laird and Mary Ellen Sisley, Baden, and his girlfriend, Marcy Kughn, Cranberry Township. Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the HUNTSMAN ROCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, 502 Adams St., where a funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Freedom.
Mrs. Mildred M. Shawkey, 87, of Beloit, Ohio, died Saturday, March 20, 1999, of injuries suffered in a car accident. Mrs. Shawkey was born Feb. 3, 1912, in Mount Joy, Pa., a daughter of Adam and Hattie Hartzel May. She graduated from the Beaver Township Elementary School, Knox High School and the Clarion Normal School. Mrs. Shawkey married Byron Shawkey of Sigel, Pa., they were married for 52 years. Mr. Shawkey died in December of 1995. Mrs. Shawkey taught school in the Beaver Township schools and in the Beaver County schools until her retirement. She was an active member of the Eastern Star, serving in many leadership positions. Surviving are her cousin, Norman Hartzell and his wife, Mary, Marble, Pa.; her sister-in-law, Lucile Baughman, Sigel, Pa., and several nieces and a nephew. Mrs. Shawkey's services will be held Thursday, March 25, 1999, at 11 a.m. in the Mount Joy Methodist Church in Knox, Pa. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Byron, in the Mount Joy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mount Joy Methodist Church, P.O. Box 307, Knox, Pa. 16232. Louise H. Thompson, 69, of Aliquippa, died Sunday, March 21, 1999, in UPMC-Beaver Valley. Born Jan. 9, 1930, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late John Wheeler Brown and Mary Lou Davis Brown Strader, she was a homemaker, and received her formal education in the McKeesport area schools. She was a former member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, McKeesport. On Jan. 5, 1957, she became the wife of Coster T. Thompson and they moved to Aliquippa in 1967 where she joined the Church In The Round and became a faithful member. She was president of the State Sunshine Band for the second jurisdiction and was a member of the Missionary Group and became an evangelist under the partnership of Bishop Melvin E. Clark Sr. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Coster T. Thompson; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Coster John (Bimbo) Thompson and his wife, Stacey L. Thompson, Ambridge, and Melvin Clark Thompson, Rochester; an adopted son, Elder Roland James, Pittsburgh; 18 grandchildren, Takeya Thompson, Boston, Mass.; Kayshauna Thompson, Rochester; Brian Thompson Jr., Boston, Mass.; Brandon Thompson Colianni, Anthony Thompson Colianni, and Vincent Thompson Colianni, all of Aliquippa; Brianna Thompson, Boston, Mass.; Darnell Hines, Tiffany Hines, India Dion Thompson, Hassahan S. Garrett M. Vincent, 34, of Hopewell Township, formerly of Buffalo, N.Y., died Monday, March 22, 1999, in UPMC-Beaver Valley, Aliquippa. Born Aug. 23, 1964, in Buffalo, N.Y., he was the son of Donald Vincent, Buffalo, N.Y., and Patricia (Nunz) and Richard Steely, Buffalo, N.Y. He was an employee of U.S. Airways Maintenance Dept., Pittsburgh Hub, and was a member of the Brodhead Alliance Church, Hopewell Township. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kelly (Neal) Vincent; a son, Kyle Vincent, and a daughter, Brittany Vincent, both at home, and two brothers, Craig Vincent, Tampa, Fla., and Grant Vincent, Chicago, Ill. Friends will be received and a funeral service will be held in the Beech-Tuyne Funeral Home, 5541 Main St., Williamsville, N.Y. Joseph H. Weigel, M.D., 83, a lifelong resident of Monaca, died Monday afternoon, March 22, 1999, in The Medical Center, Beaver. Born May 10, 1915, in Monaca, a son of the late Henry and Ethelyn Smith Weigel, he was a retired physician/psychoanalyst, having his practice in Monaca for many years. He was a veteran of World War II, having served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Monaca; American Medical Association; Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Society; American Psychiatric Association; Rochester Lodge 229 F&AM, and the New Castle Consistory. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Frances Eileen Groff Weigel, whom he married Dec. 18, 1943; two sons, Joseph David Weigel, Falls Church, Va., and James Howard Weigel, Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Lee and Alan Anderson, Highland, Md., and JoAnne and John DuChez, Gaithersburg, Md.; a sister, Geraldine Foley, Greensburg, Pa., and seven grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Erma Jane Blacketor. Steve M. Biscan, 77, of Aliquippa, died Tuesday, March 23, 1999, in his home. Born Oct. 31, 1921, in Aliquippa, a son of the late Steve and Maria Biscan, he was a retired employee of the tube mill of LTV Steel. He was a well known local housepainter and was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in World War II. Surviving are two sons, David Biscan, Hopewell Township, and Robert Biscan, Nashville, Tenn.; a daughter, Dianna Biscan, Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a niece, Mary Banovich, Green Tree, and a nephew, Michael Banovich, Sarasota, Fla. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Biscan, and a sister, Mary Banovich. All services will be private. Ida Camardese, 95, of Hopewell Township, formerly of Coraopolis, died Wednesday, March 24, 1999, in Villa St. Joseph, Baden. Born Dec. 4, 1903, in Onna, Italy, a daughter of the late Vincent and Requinta (DeFelice) Rotellini, she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Coraopolis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Saverio D. Camardese, on Jan. 15, 1976; two sisters, Isabella Coppola and Anita Colaianni, and one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Vincent and Antoinette, Moon Township; Anthony R. and Janet, Sabattus, Maine, and Zachary and Amy, Liberty Township, Ohio; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lucy and Lino DiVito, Hopewell Township, and Gemma and Angelo Colaianni, Moon Townshp; 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Rosa Cinque, Bazzano, Italy. Karl N. Eberst Sr., 61, of Creese Street, Ambridge, formerly of Beaver Falls, died Tuesday, March 23, 1999, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a lengthy illness. Born Oct. 26, 1937, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Joseph and Dorothy Winterbottom Eberst, he was a resident of Ambridge since 1983. He was employed at Vic's Trim Shop in Leetsdale and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janet L. Eberst, in 1948, and a daughter, Kimberly A. Eberst, in 1989. Surviving are his wife, Maryann Heasley Eberst; four sons, Karl N. Eberst Jr. and wife, Gail, Baden; Jeffrey A. Eberst and wife, Jaclyn, Terry L. Bonager and wife, Micelle, and Timothy J.
