ELLEN R. ADOLFSON
Services will be held for Ellen R. (Renninger) Adolfson, 90, widow of Albert J. Adolfson, of Frederick Mennonite Home, Upper Frederick, formerly of Boyertown, who died Sept. 30 at the home. Born in New Berlinville, she was self-employed as a private nurse for many years. She was a Boyertown High School graduate and a graduate of the Hahnemann University Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia. She was a member of the Assembly of Christians, Boyertown. Adolfson is survived by two sons, John A. Adolfson of Boyertown and Daniel S. Adolfson of Cambridge, Mass.; and one granddaughter. She was predeceased by a son, Jesse Adolfson. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the L. W. Ott Funeral Home Inc., Boyertown. Services will be at noon. Byron E. Crosby of the Assembly of Christians, Boyertown, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery , Boyertown.

MELISSA L. ZARTMAN
Services were held for Melissa L. "Missy" (Bender) Zartman, 37, wife of Henry A. "Kip" Zartman Jr., of West Fifth Street, Pottstown, who died Sept. 18. Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of Susan (Trout) Sanders Bender, of Royersford and the late Barry Bender. She was a graduate of Boyertown High School and attended Reading Community College. She was a homemaker and was an active member of Tri-County Bible Church, Gilbertsville. Surviving with her widower and mother are maternal grandparent Glenna (Parke) Stricker, widow of George Stricker, of Pottstown; a son, Tyler George Zartman, and a daughter, Emily Sue Zartman, both at home; a stepson, Matthew Henry Allen Zartman, and a stepdaughter, Megan Virginia Zartman, both of Perkiomenville. Memorial contributions may be made to The Tyler and Emily Zartman Educational Fund, in care of Tri County Bible Church, 142 Buchert Road, Gilbertsville, PA 19525. The arrangements were handled by the Catagnus Funeral Home Inc., Pottstown.

ANNA M. ANGSTADT
Services were held for Anna M. Angstadt, 92, of Lorraine Road, formerly of Oley, who died Sept. 18 in St. Joseph Medical Center, where she had been a patient. Her husband, Paul W. Angstadt, died in 1948. Born in Rockland Township, she was employed for many years as a waitress and seamstress, retiring in 1970. She was a member of Frieden’s Lutheran Church, Oley. Surviving are a daughter, Janet E. (Angstadt) Clauser, Reading, with whom she last resided; and a son, Melvin R., Ruscombmanor Township. Other survivors include 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Ralph H., and Leon L. The arrangements were handled by the Daniel R. Christ Funeral Home, Oley.

SALLIE R. BEHM
Services will be held Thursday for Sallie R. Behm, 92, of Berks Heim, Bern Township, and formerly of Boyertown, who died Sept. 22 at the Heim. Born in Berks County, she was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Lobachsville, Berks County. She is survived by a son, Paul S. Behm, of Boyertown; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by six brothers and one sister. A viewing will be from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home Inc., 111 N. Reading Ave., Boyertown. The Rev. Robert R. Mitchell Jr., pastor of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Spangsville, will officiate. Burial will be in Lobach’s Cemetery , Pike Township.

ELSIE M. REPPERT
Services were held for Elsie M. Reppert, 91, widow of Allen M. Reppert, of ManorCare Health Services, North Charlotte Street, Pottstown, and formerly of New Berlinville, died Sept. 22 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Barto, she was employed as a weaver by the Ray Flex Ribbon Mill, Red Hill, until her retirement in 1989. Reppert was a member of St. Joseph’s (Hill) Lutheran Church, Boyertown. Surviving are two nieces and a grandniece. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s (Hill) Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 244 Koch Road, Boyertown, PA 19512. The arrangements were handled by the L. W. Ott Funeral Home Inc., Boyertown.

MIRIAM K. ZACEK
Services were held for Miriam K. Zacek, 71, of North Reading Avenue, New Berlinville, who died Sept. 19 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Summit Hill, Carbon County. Surviving is a son, Michael Zacek of New Berlinville; a daughter, Nadine Zacek, New Berlinville. Also a sister and one grandson. Memorial donations may be made to the West-Mont Christian Academy, 873 South Hanover Road, Pottstown, PA 19464. The Thomas Parambo Funeral Home, Summit Hill, handled the arrangements.

RANDY W. GEISINGER
Private services were held for Randy W. Geisinger, 43, of Golden Gate, San Francisco, who died Sept. 19 in California Pacific Medical Center, San Francisco. Born in Reading, he was a son of Mildred F. (Bennicoff) Geisinger of Reading RD 2 and the late Wayne B. Geisinger. He was a self-employed grower of exotic birds. Geisinger was a 1975 graduate of Oley Valley High School. His mother is his only survivor. The arrangements were handled by the Sanders Funeral Home, Reading.

HELENA A. HARTMAN
Private services were held for Helena A. (Heljenek) Hartman, 81, widower of Charles L. Hee Sr., and Harold H. Hartman, of Buchert Road, New Hanover, formerly of Bushnell, Fla., who died Sept. 20 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, she was a graduate of Halahan High School in Philadelphia. She was a chef at Wal-Mart, Bushnell, Fla., before retiring in 1984.
Hartman is survived by two sons, Charles L. Hee Jr., of Pottstown, with whom she last resided, and James B. Hee, of Philadelphia; one daughter, Helen Sabella, of Croydon, Bucks County; six stepsons, David, Daniel and Robert Hartman, all of Elizabethtown, Ted Hartman, of Vermont, Joseph and Jonathan Hartman, both of Texas; one brother; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center Home Health Care Division, 1600 E. High St., Pottstown, PA 19464. The arrangements were handled by the L. W. Ott Funeral Home Inc., Boyertown.

MARJORY B. FRITZ
A memorial service will be held for Marjory B. Fritz, 81, formerly of Norristown, who died Sept. 23. She was the wife of William A. Fritz for 52 years. Fritz was born in Boyertown, lived in Audubon for 50 plus years and graduated from Temple University. She was a longtime foreign language teacher at Norristown High School. Fritz was an active member of many organizations which included the Norristown Chapter of the Pa. Horticultural Society; she was also a faithful member of the Reformed Church of the Ascension, UCC, Jeffersonville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, William C., of Lansdowne; a daughter, Joanne Fritz, of Fort Meyers, Florida; two sisters and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Reformed Church of the Ascension, UCC, 1700 West Main Street, Jeffersonville, Pa. 19403. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30 at The Reformed Church of the Ascension.

JOHN P. HANCHURUCK
Services were held for John P. Hanchuruck, 75, widower of Marcia (Kelly) Hanchuruck, of Reindeer Court, Gilbertsville, formerly of Tracy, Conn., who died Dec. 26 at the Frederick Mennonite Community, Frederick. Born in Branford, Conn., he was employed as a maintenance technician for Westvaco, Meriden, Conn., for 33 years until his retirement in 1995. He was a veteran of World War IIand the Korean War. Hanchuruck is survived by two sons, Michael Hanchuruck with whom he resided in Gilbertsville, and Bryan Hanchuruck of Meriden, Conn.; one daughter, Sharon Robinson of Shillington, Vt. Also two brothers, one sister and five grandchildren. The arrangements were handled by the C. L. Losh Funeral Home, Boyertown.
