Services will be held June 18, 1:30 p.m. in Salem Belleman’s Union Church, Centre Township, for Donald R. Adams, 72, of Hafer Drive, Leesport, who died June 14 in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since May 23.
Burial will be in Fairview (Belleman’s) Cemetery .
He was the husband of June M. (Kreider) Adams.
Born in Tilden Township, he was a son of the late Oscar W. and Ella M. (Potteiger) Adams.
Until retiring in 1994, he was employed by Quaker Maid Kitchens, Ontelaunee Township, for 17 years, and was also employed as a spray painter by Degler Chevrolet, Kutztown; Kutztown Airport; and Reading Aviation.
Adams was a Korean War Army veteran.
He was a member of Salem (Belleman’s) Church, Centre Township and vice president of the Centerport Sunday School.
Adams was a charter member of the Central Berks Fire Company.
Surviving are three brothers, Quentin C. Adams, Shoemakersville; Richard L. Adams, Tilden Township; and Larry D. Adams, Pottsville.
There are also three sisters: Arlene V. (Adams) Heffner, Shoemakersville; Audrey L. (Adams) Schorr, Concord. N.C.; and Sharon A. (Adams) Ende, in Wisconsin.

Dorothy G. Leinbach, 78
Services were held in the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, Leesport, for Dorothy G. Leinbach, of Grove Road, Centre Township, who died Jan. 21 in Berks Heim, where she had resided since November.
Burial was in Laureldale Cemetery , Tuckerton.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas L. Leinbach, who died May 3, 1999.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Chester S. and Catherine E. (Moore) Brown.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, Leesport.
Surviving are two sons, David Dubbs, Bakersfield, Calif., and William Dubbs, Red Bluff, Calif., and two daughters, Dorothy D. (Dubbs) McFarlen, Hemet, Calif., and Cheryl E. (Dubbs) Volbruck, Costa Mesa, Calif.
There are also eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Raymond E. Dubbs, who died in 1993.

Annie G. Rickenbach, 90
Services were held in the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, Leesport, for Annie G. Rickenbach, formerly of Leesport, who died Jan. 23 in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center, Wernersville. She was a resident of Phoebe Berks Village since 1993.
Burial was in Leesport Cemetery .
She was predeceased by her husband, Clyde G. Rickenbach, who died April 18, 1991.
Born in Bern Township, she was a daughter of the late Charles D. and Jennie (Kramer) Gibson.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, Leesport.
Surviving are a son, David R. Rickenbach, San Antonio, Texas; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Other survivors include a brother, Luther E. Gibson, West Lawn, and two sisters, Edna (Gibson) Machemer and Ruth (Gibson) Seip, both of Leesport.

Pearl D. Miller, 88
Services were held in Reading Moravian Church for Pearl D. Miller, of Hilltop Road, Bern Township, who died Jan. 23 in the Wyomissing Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Reading, where she had been a patient three days.
Burial was in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
She was predeceased by her husband, Earl F. Miller, who died July 13, 1988.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Adam P. and Bessie P. (Brenner) Hafer.
Until retiring in 1967, she was a self-employed hair stylist in Cumru Township for 40 years. She later worked for Suray Inc., based in New Jersey, marketing and demonstrating foods and products at area Giant Food Stores.
Miller was a past president of the Albright College Auxiliary and was a past board member and counselor at Moranvian Camp, Hope, N.J.
She was a member of Reading Moravian Church, where she served as elder, Sunday school teacher and was a former representative on the board of missions. She was also hospitality chairwoman.
Miller also served as secretary of the Eastern Region for Moravian Women and as a board member of the Lamplighters of Moravian Manor.
Surviving are two daughters, Lynda M. (Miller) Scholl, Bern Township, and Lorrayne B. (Miller) Klahr, Cumru Township.
There are also six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Other survivors include four sisters: Mary C. (Hafer) Brown, Shoemakersville; Violet M. (Hafer) Hoffman, Spring Township; Liv R. (Hafer) Reisinger, Birdsboro; and Shirley A. (Hafer) Oberly, Robesonia.

Merritt K. Stoudt, 79
Services were held in Salem (Belleman’s) Church, Centre Township, for Merritt K. Stoudt, of Railroad Road, Dauberville, who was dead on arrival Jan. 24 in St. Joseph Medical Center.
Burial was in Fairview (Belleman’s) Cemetery , Centre Township.
He was the husband of Dorothy M. (Zipp) Stoudt.
Born in Mohrsville, he was a son of the late Ammon D. and Laura (Bagenstose) Stoudt.
Until retiring in 1988, he was employed by Thomas A. Miller Cement Co., Hamburg, for 17 years. He was previously employed as a truck driver by Paul J. Zipp Contracting, Dauberville, for 32 years.
Stoudt was a 50-year member of the Central Berks Lions Club, Centerport, where he served as tail-twister.
He was a member of Salem (Belleman’s) Church.
Also surviving are a daughter, Deanne G. (Stoudt) Burkhart, Centre Township, and two sons, Kenneth M. Stoudt and Dennis L. Stoudt, both of Ontelaunee Township.
There are also seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Other survivors include a brother, Paul A. Stoudt, Leesport, and two sisters, Carolyn D. (Stoudt) Hamacher, Hanover, Mich., and Sandra M. (Stoudt) Wagner, Leesport.
He was predeceased by a son, Larry P. Stoudt, who died Sept. 30, 1992.

Corinne G. Albright, 103
Services were held in the Leibensperger Funeral Home, Hamburg, for Corinne G. Albright, formerly of North Fifth Street, Hamburg, and Country Meadows of Wyomissing, who died Jan. 24 in ManorCare Health Services Inc., Muhlenberg Township, where she had resided one year.
Burial was in St. John’s Cemetery , Hamburg.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul G. Albright, who died June 11, 1962.
Born in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Walter S. and Susan C. (Yost) Peters.
She was a 1919 graduate of Lebanon High School.
Albright and her husband were the co-owners of Albright Insurance Co., Hamburg, from 1950 until 1963. She was previously employed as assistant secretary-treasurer of Windsor Mutual Insurance Co., Hamburg, for 19 years.
She was a 50-year member of Blue Mountain Chapter 443 Order of the Eastern Star, Hamburg.
Albright was a life member of the Shartlesville Fire Company and served as treasurer of the Hamburg Senior Citizens from 1971 to 1979.
She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Hamburg.
Surviving are a daughter, Catherine A. (Albright) Ziegler, Hamburg, and a granddaughter.
Samuel P. Reber, 87
Private graveside services were held in St. Paul’s Union Church Cemetery , Jefferson Township, for Samuel P. Reber, of new Schaefferstown Road, Jefferson Township, who died Jan. 27 in St. Joseph Medical Center, where he had been admitted earlier in the day.
He was taken to the hospital from ManorCare Health Services Inc., Muhlenberg Township, where he had resided three days.
He was predeceased by his wife, Helena A. (Henne) Reber, who died Oct. 23, 1996.
Born in North Heidelberg Township, he was a son of the late Samuel P. and Katie R. (Potteiger) Reber.
Until retiring in 1976, he was employed as a meat cutter by the federal government at Dover (Del.) Air Force Base for 16 years.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
Surviving are a son, Steven S. Reber, Bethel, and a daughter, Lynn E. (Reber) Rentschler, Mohrsville.
There are also three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Joyce (Reber) Grim, who died in 1962.

Elizabeth A. McClellan, 85
The Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, was in charge of arrangements for Elizabeth A. Lintz McClellan, formerly of Reading, who died Jan. 21 in the Laurel Center Genesis Elder Care, Tilden Township.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis E. McClellan, and by her first husband, Harold Lintz.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Percey J. and Hallie J. Smith.
Until retiring, she was employed as a cosmetologist for many years.
Surviving are a son, Michael P. Lintz, Washington, D.C., and a daughter, Judi (Lintz) Gerrish, West Lawn.
There are also two grandchildren and a sister, Jane Smith, Washington.
Alice I. Strausser, 90
Services were held in the First Assembly of God Church, Windsor Township, for Alice I. Strausser, formerly of Pottsville Pike, Shoemakersville, who died Jan. 27 in the Laurel Center Genesis Elder Care, Tilden Township, where she had resided since August 2002.
Burial was in Salem (Berne) United Methodist Cemetery , Tilden Township.
She was predeceased by her husband, Elmer A. Strausser, who died Dec. 9, 1975.
Born in Centerport, she was a daughter of the late Edwin W. and Sallie M. (Roth) Borkey.
Until retiring in 1989, she was employed as a sewing machine operator by the Merritt Underwear Co., Shoemakersville, for 60 years.
Strausser was a member of First Assembly of God Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher.
Surviving are two brothers, Daniel E. Borkey, Leesport, and Earl W. Borkey, Urbanna, Va.; and four sisters: Mabel E. (Borkey) Hill and Sara M. (Borkey) Shellong, residents at the Laurel Center; Fern M. (Borkey) Kershner, Mohrsville; and Emma L. (Borkey) Ernst, West Lawn.

Mabel C. Kerschner, 86
Services were held in the Leibensperger Funeral Home, Hamburg, for Mabel C. Kerschner, formerly of Strausstown, who died Jan. 28 in Pottsville Hosptial, where she had been admitted earlier that day.
She was taken to the hospital from the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center, Schuylkill County, where she had resided since August 2001.
Burial was in Strausstown Cemetery .
She was predeceased by her first husband, Samuel S. Strauss, who died Oct. 20, 1965, and by her second husband, Curtis J. Kerschner, who died Aug. 20, 2001.
Born in Jefferson Township, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Haffner) Seigfried.
Until retiring in 1965, she was employed on the family farm with her first husband.
She was a member of St. Thomas United Church of Christ, Bernville.
Surviving are a son, Leroy S. Strauss, Richland, Lebanon County, and a stepson, Ralph C. Kerschner, Mohrsville.
There are also two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two stepsons, William I. Kerschner and Robert I. Kerschner.
