Francis Wayne Clark, age 83 of Filbert Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Monday, June 19, 2006 at 5:30 p.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born January 7, 1923, In Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late John Clark and the late Edna Wolfe.
Mr. Clark was the owner and operator of Wayne Clark General Contracting Company until 1992. He was a member of North Main Street Church of God. Mr. Clark was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corp. serving in WWII. He also enjoyed gardening.
Mr. Clark is survived by his second wife, Cleo Clark whom he marriage on October 9, 2004, by son, Wayne Clark and his wife Cindy of Butler, Pennsylvania; three daughters and their husbands, Georgetta and Alan Reesman of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, Denise and Donald Guiher of Prospect, Pennsylvania, Ginger and Michael Dowell of Butler, Pennsylvania; thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Mary Miller of East Butler, Pennsylvania; one brother, John D. Clark of Butler, Pennsylvania, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his first wife Peggy P. Bitting Clark who passed away on December 12, 1995 and also by two brothers.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend David Brown of North Main Street Church Of God officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.
Mildred Marie Kuhn

Mildred Marie Kuhns, age 94 of Sunnyview Nursing Home, Butler, Pennsylvania, formerly of Irene Drive, Butler, died Sunday, June 18, 2006 at 2:40 p.m. in the Sunnyview Home.
Born February 6, 1912 in Rankin, Illinois she was the daughter of the late Albert Morger and the late Dean Simmons.
Mrs. Kuhns was a clerk for Fisher's Cleaners. She was a member of Christ Community United Methodist Church. Mrs. Kuhns was a life member of Tanglewood Senior Citizen Center.
Mrs. Kuhns is survived by son, Melvin D. Rex of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; daughter, Mrs. Robert (Donna) Stewart of Butler, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren: Jeffrey Rex of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Douglas Rex and Susan Hays of Raleigh, North Carolina, William Douthett, Jr. and Brian Douthett of Connoquenessing, Pennsylvania, Leisa Cavalero of Butler, Pennsylvania, and Tamara Bonzo of New Brighton, Pennsylvania, eighteen great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and two nieces.
Mrs. Kuhns was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Rex, her second husband Edward Kuhns, two daughters and one brother.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Cloyd Osborne of retired minister at Christ Community United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

Alice Beatty Anthony
September 28, 1914 - June 13, 2006
Alice Beatty Anthony, age 91 of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot, PA, formerly of Hoon Road, Butler, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 6:32 p.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born September 28, 1914 in Oakland Township, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late William John Beatty, Sr. and the late Nellie Hollman Beatty.
Mrs. Anthony was a graduate of Slippery Rock University, and a retired teacher of 31 years for Butler Area School District, teaching first grade in the Oakland Township school building. She had taught in two one-room schoolhouses in Oakland Township for six years. Mrs. Anthony retired in 1979. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Anthony was an elder emeritus, a deacon, a member of the Bethel Bible class and the Presbyterian Women's Association for many years. She was also a member of the Women's Club of Butler, the W.C.T.U. and a member of the state and local P.A.S.R.
Mrs. Anthony is survived by three daughters, Mrs. James (Janet) Dimitt of Kings Mills, Ohio; Mrs. John (Mary) Gabriele of Fairport, New York, Mrs. Emanuel (Lois) Valasek of Noblesville, Indiana; four grandchildren, James M. Dimit, Jill Dimitt Fealko, Scott Thompson and Melissa Gabriele, one brother, William J. Beatty, Jr. of Chicora, Pennsylvania, another son-in-law, Andrew Thompson of Butler, Pennsylvania, one sister-in-law, Mary Gould of Butler, Pennsylvania and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Anthony was preceded in death by her husband, John Anthony whom she marriage on June 19, 1942 and who passed away on July 7, 1984, by her daughter Janice Thompson of Butler, Pennsylvania, and also by two brothers, George and Walter Beatty.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Thursday, June 15, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and also on Friday, June 16, 2006 from noon to 1 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, June 16, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Merry Hope Meloy of St. Andrew's United Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in North Butler Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Donald C. "Moose" Hepler
November 16, 1962 - June 11, 2006
Donald C. Hepler, age 43 of Mahood Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, June 11, 2006 at 10:50 a.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born November 16, 1962 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of Norma J. Stamm Hepler and the late Donald S. "Hep" Hepler.
Mr. Hepler was employed by Johnson Controls, Inc., which provides plant protection for AK Steel. Mr. Hepler has been attending Community Alliance Church. He was a member of Unionville VFD, enjoyed bowling and golf, formerly worked for Butler Ambulance Service as an EMT. He was an avid hunter and coached for Center Township Baseball Association as a Field maintenance director, Mr. Hepler was an avid Steeler fan and coached for Center township Midget football Mighty Mites.
Mr. Hepler is survived by his wife, Shelley L. Hockenberry Hepler whom he marriage on June 11, 1994, by his five children, Randy Hepler, Michael Hepler, Cheyenne Hepler, Lee Helpler, Dalton Hepler; his mother, Norma J. Stamm Hepler; two brothers and their wives, Jim and Kim Hepler, David "Dutch" and Ann Marie Hepler; and also by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Mr. Hepler was preceded in death by his father.

Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dennis Krajacic of Community Alliance Church officiating. Interment will follow in West Sunbury Union Cemetery.

Harlan R. Claypool, 85, of Kissimmee, Florida formally of Portman Road, Butler, Pennsylvania died at 8:08 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Retirement Village.
Born June 19, 1920 in Kittanning Pennsylvania he was the son of Loyal and Florence Claypool.
Mr. Claypool was a retired heavy construction and building and trades carpenter for 33 years. Mr. Claypool was a former deacon of the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church in Butler and was a trustee of the Good Samaritan Community Church in Kissimmee, Florida.
Mr. Claypool is survived by his wife Wilda of Kissimmee, Florida and his brother Paul Claypool of St. Petersburg, Florida. He is also survived by seven children, Virginia Fry of Wilmington, North Carolina, Carol VanderHeyden of Kissimmee, Florida, Ed Claypool of Columbus, Indiana, Thelma Unangst of Prescott, Arizona, Berta Case of Flint, Michigan, Wilma Smith of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and Larry Claypool of Washougal, Washington. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Friends and family of Harlan R. Claypool will be received at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2006.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday June 16, 2006 at 11:00am at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home with the Reverend Jeff Smith of Faith Fellowship Alliance Church of Butler officiating and burial will be at Gruenwald Cemetery in Summit Township

Ethel M. Charlton Taylor, age 92 of Avante at Mt. Dora Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Mt. Dora, Florida, formerly of Brown Avenue and the Terrace Apartments died Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at 12:50 p.m. in the Avante at Mt. Dora Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Mt. Dora, Florida.
Born June 20, 1913 in Roscoe, Washington Co., Pa she was the daughter of the late Ralph M. Charlton and the late Grace M. Foster.
Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker. She taught release time religious education at different churches and worked on the election board in Butler County for over 20 years. Mrs. Taylor was a former member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Mrs. Taylor was a life member of AARP and the Good Samaritan Chapter Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by one son, Ralph Taylor of Tavares, Florida; four nephews and one niece.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Taylor who passed away on August 16, 1992 and also by a sister.
