Bernard "Bernie" Mintz, age 59 of Prospect Road, Prospect, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at his residence.
Born December 1, 1947 in Butler he was the son of the late Isadore Mintz and the late Mary Tischler.
Mr. Mintz was a tractor-trailer truck driver for Dayco Trucking. He was a member and past president of B'Nai Abraham Congregation where he served for four years. He was currently serving his congregation as its secretary. He had been active in BBYO (Jewish youth group). He enjoyed traveling and his high school reunions. He was an alumni of Ithaca College where he earned his bachelor's degree in communication.
Mr. Mintz is survived by his wife, Rachelle A. Berg Mintz of Prospect, Pennsylvania; one nephew, one niece, two great nieces, and one great nephew.
Mr. Mintz was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Graveside services will be held at the B'nai Abraham Cemetery, Portman Road on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Cantor Andriane Caplowe of the Congregation B'Nai Abraham officiating. Interment will follow in B'Nai Abraham Cemetery.

Shiva Minyan Services will be conducted at the family's residence on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 7:30 pm.
Gary R. Weinzierl

Gary R. Weinzierl, age 69 of Evergreen Drive, Lyndora, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, June 17, 2007 at 9:19 a.m. at his residence.
Born September 12, 1937 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Edward Weinzierl and the late Viola Neithercoat.
Mr. Weinzierl was an automobile salesman for Linn's Motors. He was a member of Penn Township baseball association, a fan of NASCAR racing, Harley Davidson motorcycles, pug dogs and golf.
Mr. Weinzierl is survived by a son, Gary Scott and his wife Valarie Weinzierl of Seven Fields, Pennsylvania; three daughters, Mrs. Philip (Sheri Lynn) Hixon of Renfrew, Mrs. Eugene (Kimberly Joy) Hixon of Butler, Mrs. Mark (Leslie Shan) Anderson of Butler; three step-sons, John Whittington, Jeremy Whittington, Benjamin Whittington all of Butler, Pennsylvania; four grandsons, Donald E. Hixon, II, Philip J. Hixon, II, Justin E. Hixon, Douglas G. Anderson; seven grand-daughters, Alicia Lynn Norman, Sarah E. Anderson, Kristen J. Hixon, Melissa S. Anderson, Amber N. Weinzierl, Breanna R. Weinzierl, Rachel K. Hixon; two step-granddaughters, Christina Freeman, Abigail Whittington; step-grandson, Ethan Whittington; four great grandsons, Jakob Norman, Jonathan Norman, Trey Hixon, Issac Hixon; three great granddaughters, Gabriella E. Norman, Leta Hixon, Elizabeth Hixon; and two nephews.
Mr. Weinzierl was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Ann Wiley.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania Tuesday, June 19, 2007 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Robert Pascoe of Albert Gallatin Hospice officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

Virginia Hutchison
December 25, 1926 - June 15, 2007
Virginia Lee Collins Hutchison, age 80 died Friday, June 15, 2007 in Fairfax, Virginia.
Born December 25, 1926 in Kansas City, Missouri she was the daughter of the late Ernest Collins and the late Velma Collins.
Mrs. Hutchison was an English teacher for Butler Area School District for more than 20 years. She was a former member of St. Andrew's United Presbyterian Church, the Butler Country Club, American Association for University Women, and the Butler Literary Society. She served, as a volunteer at Phipps Conservatory, was an avid gardener, bridge player and entertainer.
Mrs. Hutchison is survived by her two sons, Glenn Hutchison, Jr. of Lantana, Texas, Bruce Hutchison of Centreville, Virginia; one daughter, Gael Fransson of Corpus Christi, Texas; and by three grandchildren.
Mrs. Hutchison was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn C. Hutchison whom she marriage on September 27, 1946.
A Memorial Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 10:30 a.m.

Birdie Neil

Birdie Neil, age 86 of Lakewood Manor Personal Care Home, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. in the Lakewood Manor Personal Care, Clearfield Township.
Born November 27, 1920 in Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Henry Neil and the late Mamie Groves.
Miss Neil was a secretary for Dr. Duster in Butler. She was Presbyterian by faith.
There will be no visitation or services. Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania.
James Samuel Brown
April 10, 1938 - June 8, 2007
James Samuel Brown, age 69 of Hansen Avenue, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Friday, June 8, 2007 at 5:55 p.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born April 10, 1938 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Stewart Brown and the late Susie Turner Brown.
Mr. Brown was employed as a laborer for Butler Armco, retiring in 1994. He was a life member of the Butler Moose and a member of the Moose in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, the Butler Elks and the Italian Club. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Brown is survived by one son, James H. Brown of Butler, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Patty Perez of Butler, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Gregory (Susan) Simpson of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania; by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, five nieces and nephews; one half-sister, Lillian McCollough of Erie, Pennsylvania; and his fiancée, Charlotte Shriner of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, and a half brother.
The family had private visitation on Monday, June 11, 2007. There will be no funeral services.

Richard G. Adams

Richard G. Adams, age 90 of Sharon Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 4:50 a.m. in the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia Lutheran Care.
Born January 9, 1917 in Portersville, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Samuel M. Adams and the late Sarah Shields.
Mr. Adams was a purchasing agent for Hoffman Auto Parts, retiring in 1986 after 45 years of service. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and a member of the MORA club.
Mr. Adams is survived by two sons, Richard W. Adams, and Uber S. Adams both of Sarver, Pennsylvania; and five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Eakin Adams who passed away on July 24, 1990 and also by one brother.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Thursday, June 7, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dennis Molnar officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.
