Mark A. Kildoo, age 46 of 104 Eastwood Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 8:00 a.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital Emergency room from a heart attack he suffered while hunting with friends.
Born March 3, 1960 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Niven R. Kildoo and the late Margaret A. Litzenburg.
Mr. Kildoo was a computer programmer for Servistar in Butler, IBM, Alcoa, and Reese Brothers, in Pittsburgh. He was a self-employed landscaper. Mr. Kildoo was a 1978 graduate of Butler High School and attended Butler County Community College. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mr. Kildoo was a member of the Butler Lodge #272 F.&A.M. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed golf, skiing, and going to the river at East Brady.
Mr. Kildoo is survived by one brother, David N. Kildoo of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Patricia Lewis of Butler, Pennsylvania; and by three nieces and two nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at a later time at the convenience of the family

Lucille B. Stalker
July 21, 19 - October 18, 2006
Lucille B. Stalker, age 93 of Dolphin Drive, formerly of East Patterson Avenue, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 7:30 a.m. at her daughter's residence.
Born July 21, 1913 in Eakins Corners, Cherry Valley, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late John Earl Byers and the late Ethel Mae Byers Sloan.
Mrs. Stalker was a homemaker. She was a member of the Butler Boat Club.
Mrs. Stalker is survived by one son and his wife, William and Joan Stalker of Butler, Pennsylvania; one daughter and her husband, Nancy L. and Richard Dunn of Butler, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren: Rick Dunn, Steven Dunn, Robert Stalker, Wendy (Stalker) Bayer, four great-grandchildren: Lee Alexander Stalker, Christopher Dunn, Rachel Bayer, and Matthew Stalker, one step-grandchild: Shane Errera, and by two nieces and one nephew.
Mrs. Stalker was preceded in death by her husband, H. Karl Stalker whom she marriage on June 3, 1939 and who passed away on June 30, 1993, and also by one brother and one sister.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Friday, October 20, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Robert C. Huber of North Street Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
Vera A. Wingerd
January 20, 1927 - October 16, 2006
Vera A. Wingerd, age 79, recently of Crofton Convalesce Center, Crofton, Maryland, formerly of Butler died Monday, October 16, 2006 at 1:25 p.m. in the Crofton Convalescent Center. Until very recently, Mrs. Wingerd lived at New Haven Court, and previously at 103 Brookstone Court.
Born January 20, 1927 in Duquesne, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Andrew Karlovsky, Sr. and the late Anna Stecko.
Mrs. Wingerd was a registered nurse for Deshon Veterans Administration Medical Center in Butler, retiring in 1984. She was a graduate of the Cadet Corps Nursing Program at Presbyterian Hospital in Oakland, and worked at Children's Hospital and the Aspinwall Veterans Administration Hospital prior to moving to Butler. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church and formerly attended First English Lutheran Church in Butler. She was a former member of the Business and Professional Women's Association and the Butler County Blind Association, and she was a volunteer for the American Red Cross. Mrs. Wingerd was an avid gardener.
Mrs. Wingerd is survived by two sons, Mark A. Wingerd, of Gaithersburg, Maryland, David (Charlie) Wingerd of West View, Pennsylvania; two daughters and their husbands, Deborah Susan and Michael Yoon of Livermore, California, Faith Anne and Alan Hicks of Crofton, Maryland; six grandchildren: Jonathan and Andrew Yoon, Amanda and Heather Hicks, Emma and Isabelle Wingerd and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wingerd was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Thursday, October 19, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church on Friday, October 20, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Thomas Pierotti of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in the Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Wingerd was formerly a volunteer camp nurse at Camp Lutherlyn after graduation from nursing school. Although she later ensured that her four children attended camp there as well as her grandchildren, she would wish that other children be able to attend summer camp there as well. Therefore, memorial contributions may be made to Camp Lutherlyn, Post Office Box 355, Prospect, Pennsylvania 16052.
Marilyn S. Forcht
September 8, 1929 - October 10, 2006
Marilyn S. Forcht, age 77 of Butler, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, North Carolina.
Born September 8, 1929 in Rimersburg, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Matson Craig Stewart and the late Edith Traister Stewart.
Mrs. Forcht worked for Dr. Alexander Hurwitz in Butler after graduating from Union High School. She was a member of Covenant United Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Forcht enjoyed traveling, painting, playing bridge and she bowled in the Butler Country Club bowling league. She also enjoyed spending time with her girls and grandchildren.
Mrs. Forcht is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Lisa and John Beck of Butler, Pennsylvania, Karen and Thomas McDermott of Charlotte, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Gavin Stewart McDermott, Austin James McDermott, Madison K. McDermott of Charlotte, North Carolina; one sister, Maxine Hill of Goldsboro, North Carolina; one brother, Eugene Stewart of Greenville, Pennsylvania; and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Forcht was preceded in death by her former husband, James R. Forcht who passed away on December 16, 1999 and also by two sisters and one brother.

Edith G. Lewis

Edith G. Lewis, age 93 of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot, Pennsylvania, formerly of Dutchtown Road, died Sunday, October 8, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born December 8, 1912 in Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late David Lewis and the late Nora Roberts.
Miss Lewis was a clerk for 40 years at Morrison's Candy Shop from 1944 to 1974. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting, poetry, gardening and animals.
Miss Lewis was the last of five children and was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Donald L. Troup
November 6, 1930 - October 7, 2006
Donald L. Troup, age 75 of Acre Ave Butler, Pennsylvania passed away in the Emergency Room of Butler Memorial Hospital at 10:24 a.m., Saturday, October 7, 2006.
Born in Numine, Pennsylvania on November 6, 1930 he was the son of the late Alvie M. Troup and Loretta Brocious.
Mr. Troup was a retired truck driver. He was of the protestant faith. He was veteran of the United States Army serving in Germany during the Korean War. He was a member of the Country Music Association and enjoyed hunting gardening and canning. He also was an avid baseball and football fan.
He is survived by his wife Janet Mae Kane Troup, two daughters, Mrs. Bob (Vicki) Jones of Sligo, Pennsylvania and Donna M. Bartos of New Castle, Pennsylvania, one grandson and eight step-grandchildren, three step-daughters, Mrs. Phil (Karen) DuRall of Goodyear, Arizona, Mrs. Ross (Cindy) Erlenbach of Princeton, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Michael (Sandy) Wardlow of Huntington Beach, California, two step-sons, Daniel Murincsak of Lake Forest, California and David Branson of Huntington Beach, California, two brothers, Paul Troup of West Sunbury, Pennsylvania and Herbert Troup of West Middlesex, Pennsylvania, three sisters, Mrs. Velma Miller and Mrs. Thelma Keeling both of Worthington, Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Pearl Kaufman of Salem, Ohio and also by a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Louella Maye Adams on October 10, 1985 and by one sister and three brothers.
