William F. Milleman, age 87 of Fosnight Personal Care, Valencia, Pennsylvania, formerly of Butler and St. Augustine, Florida died Friday, November 17, 2006 at 8:10 p.m. in the Fosnight Personal Care.
Born September 29, 1919 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late William F. Milleman, Sr. and the late Della D. Flinner.
Mr. Milleman was a self-employed heating, roofing and air conditioner contractor. He was a former member of First English Lutheran Church. Mr. Milleman attended Julliard School of Music.
Mr. Milleman is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Donna) Huber of Buryrus, Ohio; two step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Alma Ramsey of Michigan, Mrs. Mary Keller of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Milleman was preceded in death by his wife, Donna V. Sutton Milleman who passed away on August 1, 2000.
Arrangements will be at the convenience of the family.

Alverda G. Stoughton, age 97 of Sunnyview Home, Butler, Pennsylvania, formerly of Connoquenessing died Friday, November 17, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. in the Sunnyview Home.
Born March 31, 1909 in Connoquenessing, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late William Andrew Blakeley and the late Estella Henshaw.
Mrs. Stoughton was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for Stoughton Farm Dairy. She was a member of White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church where she had been a Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Stoughton was a member of the Connoquenessing Thursday Club and the Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Stoughton is survived by one son, Oliver W. "Bill" Stoughton of Vero Beach, Florida; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline S. Krebs of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Zoann S. Weckerly of Butler, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Stoughton was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Stoughton who passed away on November 23, 1998 and by a sister.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Monday, November 20, 2006 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Services will be held at the White Oaks Springs Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Lee Dryer of White Oaks Springs Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

Emma M. Einsporn, age 92 of St. John's specialty Care, Mars, Pennsylvania, formerly of Butler and Saxonburg died Friday, November 17, 2006 at 2:40 p.m. in the St. John's Specialty Care Center.
Born October 21, 1914 in Prospect, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late James E. McKinnis and the late Anna Burris.
Mrs. Einsporn was employed at Sunnyview Home for 12 years from 1972 to 1985. She was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Einsporn was a member of the senior citizens group of Saxonburg.
Mrs. Einsporn is survived by one son and his wife, Thomas and Catherine Einsporn of New Castle, Pennsylvania; one daughter and her husband, Mrs. Larry (Judith) DeBerry of Sarver, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Einsporn was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew J. Einsporn who passed away on January 20, 1985 and by six sisters and two grandsons.

Gary Bruce Smith

Gary Bruce Smith, age 66, of Bluegrass Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Friday, November 17, 2006 at 2:40 p.m. at his residence.
Born September 30, 1940, in Butler, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Jesse Florence Bauder Smith.
Mr. Smith was a superintendent at the former Armco plant and retired from its stainless processing in May 1999.
A member of the Community Alliance Church, he was an active volunteer and was a member of small group and bible studies. He was a member of Habitat for Humanity, and he enjoyed playing golf and doing woodworking with his brother, Bill.
He was a graduate of Butler High School and the University of Cincinnati, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in metallurgical engineering.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Joyce Henry Smith, whom he marriage May 9, 1987; two daughters, Mrs. Christine Heinrich of Baltimore, Maryland and Cathy Smith of Groton, Connecticut; a son, David Smith of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; a stepson, John Tracy of Dubois, Pennsylvania; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Emily Marshall of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; a brother, Bill Smith of Butler, Pennsylvania and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Sunday, November 19, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Services will be held at the Community Alliance Church on Monday, November 20, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend John Tracy of Ridgway Alliance Church, Ridgway, Pennsylvania and Reverend Bob Thomas of Community Alliance Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

Helen Louise Bennett, age 92 of Concordia at the Orchard, Butler, Pennsylvania, formerly of Riverside and Greenwich, Connecticut died Monday, November 13, 2006 at 5:45 a.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born June 27, 1914 in North Tonawonda, New York she was the daughter of the late Reverend Emmanuel Schulz and the late Elizabeth Schneider Schulz.
Mrs. Bennett was a homemaker. She was a long time member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Riverside, Connecticut. She was very active in the Greenwich Senior Center Bridge program. Mrs. Bennett enjoyed singing in St. Paul's church choir, knitting, baking, reading and bridge.
Mrs. Bennett is survived by one son, Kenneth E. Bennett, Jr. of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Susan B. Schwarz of Greenwich, Connecticut, Nancy E. Bennett of Portland, Oregon; three grandchildren, Megan Bennett Luciano of Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, Kenneth E. Bennett, III of Centerport, New York, Sara Kelly Bennett of Grove City, Pennsylvania; and also by four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Bennett whom she marriage on June 18, 1938 and who passed away in 1991.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Riverside, Connecticut.

Kathryn Alice McDonald, age 95 Sunnyview Home, formerly of Whitestown Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 11:37 a.m. in the ER of Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born January 27, 1911 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Wallace Malick and the late Kathryn Bixler.
Mrs. McDonald was a homemaker. She was a member of United Methodist Church of Connoquenessing.
Mrs. McDonald is survived by one son and his wife, Clifford and Marsha McDonald, of Butler, Pennsylvania, two daughters and their husbands, Mrs. Walter (Betty Lou) Hinton of Butler, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Kenneth (Kathie E.) Jordan of Ocean City, Maryland; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon McDonald who passed away on June 15, 1988 and by one sister, Irma Spithaler, and two brothers, Wallace and William Malick.
