Joseph Guerriero " Bandana Joe", age 69 of New Castle Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Friday afternoon, May 9, 2008 in his home.
Born January 22, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Giuseppe Guerriero and the late Mary Kraus.
Mr. Guerriero was a painter for All American Painting, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Guerriero was marriage to Catherine Jean Guerriero, she preceded him in death on August 27, 2006.
Mr. Guerriero is survived by five sons, Antonio Guerriero, Joseph Guerriero, Albert Zoller, James Zoller, Donald Zoller; and seven daughters, Arlene John, Charlotte Peffer, Marie Guerriero, Cynthia Carey (Guerriero), Catherine Dowdy (Guerriero), Christine Tuite, Donna Zoller;one sister, Marge Brown; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Guerriero was also preceded in death by one son Paul Guerriero.
There will be no visitation or funeral services. Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania 16001.
Loyal "Danny" Janicka

Loyal "Danny" Janicka, age 54 of Headland Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 6:36 a.m. in the emergency room of the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born April 7, 1954 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of Stanley J. Janicka and Margaret Spang Janicka.
Mr. Janicka is survived by his parents of Butler, Pennsylvania, one sister and her husband, Deborah and Robin Cumberland, one niece, Rachel Cumberland, one nephew, Bart Cumberland all of Ashtabula, Ohio; one aunt, and several cousins.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 1 to 2 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Jeff Harris of Trinity Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in North Side Cemetery.
Martin J. Schiraldi
July 16, 1941 - May 7, 2008
Martin J. Schiraldi, age 66 of Benninger Lane, Butler, Pennsylvania, died May 7, 2008 at 8:35 a.m at his residence.
Born July 16, 1941 in Youngstown, Ohio he was the son of the late Martin Schiraldi and the late Juanita Savon Schiraldi.
Mr. Schiraldi worked in the maintenace department at Ron Joy Nursing Home in Boardman, Ohio for 20 years then he went to work for Oberg Industries, retiring in 2007. He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church. He was a life-time member of the Mahoning Township Volunteer Fire Department in Edinburg, Pennsylvania. Mr. Schiraldi was also a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.
Mr. Schiraldi is survived by his wife, Barbara McKnight Schiraldi, whom he marriage on September 26, 1998, one son, Marty Schiraldi of Wampum, Pennsylvania; two daughters and their husbands, Tina and Daryl Harding of New Castle, Pennsylvania, Jessica and Andrew Shanor of New Castle, Pennsylvania; one step-son and his wife, Derek and Dayna Roskovski of Butler, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, one brother and his wife, John and Joyce Schiraldi of Hubbard, Ohio; two sisters, Barbara Brady of Edinburg, Pennsylvania, Carol Rogusky of Edinburg, Pennsylvania and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Friday, May 9, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Pierre Falkenhan of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church officiating.
Wilda Della Dietrich Claypool

Wilda Della Dietrich Claypool, age 90 of Kissimmee, Florida, formerly of Portman Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Monday, May 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Good Samaritan Health Care Center, Kissimmee, Florida.
Born July 13, 1917 in Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Samuel Dietrich and the late Mayme Risch Dietrich.
Mrs. Claypool was a homemaker and a stay home mom who loved to quilt. She was a former member of Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, and was the former treasurer of Christian Endeavor.
Mrs. Claypool is survived by five daughters, Virginia Fry of Wilmington, North Carolina, Mrs. Larry (Carol) VanderHeyden of Kissimmee, Florida, Mrs. Jack (Thelma) Unangst of Prescott, Arizona, Mrs. Tom (Berta) Case of Flint, Michigan, Wilma Smith of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; two sons, Edward (Retha) Claypool of Columbus, Indiana, Lawrence (Cathy) Claypool of Washougal, Washington; one sister, Mrs. Edgar (Alberta) Bouch of Butler, Pennsylvania. She has sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Claypool was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan R. Claypool who passed away on June 10, 2006 and also by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Friday, May 9, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Richard Jenks of Faith Fellowship Alliance Church officiating. Interment will follow in Gruenwald Cemetery.

William Harris Puff

William Harris Puff, age 56 of Residence for Renal Care at Shadyside, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, died Friday, May 2, 2008 at 9:50 p.m. in the Renal Care at Shadyside.
Born January 1, 1952 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Harris Alva Puff and the late Julia Druly Puff.
Mr. Puff was a former a member of Calvary Evangelical Presbyterian Church. He was a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Mr. Puff is survived by two stepbrothers, two stepsisters and a number of cousins.
Mr. Puff was preceded in death by his parents, an aunt and his stepmother.
Private services were held at the Rose Hill Cemetery with Reverend Dr. Alden Towberman of officiating.
Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Coughenour

Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Coughenour, age 80 of Roads End Lane, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 8:06 a.m. at her residence.
Born March 6, 1928 in Morgantown, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late William Hormell and the late Lorena Newman.
Mrs. Coughenour was a mother and homemaker. She was Presbyterian by faith. Mrs. Coughenour was a member of the Elks Lodge 2751 of Crossville, Tennessee, a former Girl Scout Leader; she enjoyed bible studies, bowling and was a Steeler fan.
Mrs. Coughenour is survived by two sons, David Coughenour of Round Rock, Texas, Eric Coughenour of Butler, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one sister, Patricia Brown of Ocala, Florida, four step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren, one niece and two nephews.
Mrs. Coughenour was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Coughenour who passed away on February 11, 2004, also by one daughter, Anne Coughenour and one sister, Rena Bell.
