Elva Berline age 93 passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2004 in the home of her daughter and son-in-law.
Born in Butler County on October 1, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Sheldon S. Young and Anna M. McAnallen Young.
Mrs. Berline was a homemaker; she was a member of the North Main St. Church of God and the Keenagers class of her church .She had been a lifelong member of the Women of the Church of God (formerly the Women's Missionary Society), having held several offices including president. She also held an office in the State Women of the Church of God. In addition she had been the historian of her church.
She is survived by three sons, Clyde (Monty) Berline and his wife Barbara of Seattle, Washington, Ronald C. Berline and his wife Ruth of Pendleton, Indiana and Rodney Dean Berline and his wife Jan of Newburgh, Oregon, one daughter; Mrs. Ronald (Elva Lea) Andres of Butler, Pennsylvania, two sisters, Mrs. Sheldine Link and Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Lepley both of Butler, Pennsylvania and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Berline was marriage to Clyde A. Berline he preceded her in death on May 10, 1974. She was also preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Friends and family of Elva Berline will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania 16001 on Sunday and Monday, September 12 and 13, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 and 9 p.m.
Funeral Services will be from The North Main Street Church of God on Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverends David Brown and Kenneth Hall of the North Main Street Church of God officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut, Pennsylvania.

Janet M. Yingling
November 29, 1929 - September 8, 2004
Janet M. Yingling, 74 of Fincher Lane, Butler, died Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at 6:00 a.m. at her residence.
Born November 29, 1929 in Butler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Raymond C. Nicholas and T. Bernice Ross.
Mrs. Yingling was a homemaker. She was an alumni of Butler High School class of 1947.
Mrs. Yingling is survived by her husband Merrill W. Yingling, whom she marriage on August 26, 1949, by three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Sandra A.) Miller, Mrs. Barry (Donna L.) Pallone, Mrs. Karen L. Lindell, by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Carl (Betsy) Marcellus, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania.
Interment will be in Butler County Memorial Park.

Carolyn V. Gumpper
January 10, 1946 - September 5, 2004
Carolyn V. Gumpper, 58 of Butler, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 5, 2004 at Sunnyview Home after a long illness.
Born January 10, 1946 in Butler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Frank Rea and Grace McMillan Rea.
Mrs. Gumpper was a part of the fellowship at Cornerstone Baptist Church and she was past president of the Christian Women's Club in Butler. She enjoyed gospel quartet music and traveling.
She had worked as a secretary at Nationwide Insurance Company as well as several other local firms, most recently at the C. W. Howard Insurance Agency.
Mrs. Gumpper is survived by her husband, John W. Gumpper, Jr. who she marriage December 1, 1979, one son, Brian K. Prentice and his wife, Heidi, of Monroeville, Pennsylvania, two brothers, Don Rea and his wife, Annis, of Florida and Jim Rea and his wife, Gladys, of Butler.
Friends will be received at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, September 8, 2004 from 10 to noon.
Funeral services will be held at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., on Wednesday, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor John E. Neyman, Jr. of the Cornerstone Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
In Lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations to be made to The Cornerstone Baptist Church, 771 Mercer Road, Butler, Pennsylvania 16001.
Thomas P. Grosclaude
November 21, 1943 - September 3, 2004
Thomas P. Grosclaude, 60 of Bryson Road, Butler, died Friday, September 3, 2004 at 9:30 p.m. at his home.
Born November 21, 1943 in Butler, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Pierre Grosclaude and Hazel Thompson.
Mr. Grosclaude was a purchasing agent for Heckett Multi Serve retiring in November of 2003. He was a member of life member of Grace Lutheran Church; he was active in his church where he served on church counsel and on various committees. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an alumni of Butler High School, class of 1962. He also attended New Castle Business College and received an Associate degree in accounting.
Mr. Grosclaude is survived by his wife, Karen S. Shever Grosclaude, one daughter, Mrs. Ron (March) Shay of Butler, Pennsylvania, two sons, Brian Grosclaude and Chris Grosclaude, his parents, Pierre and Hazel Grosclaude, six Grandchildren, one brother, Jim Grosclaude, all of Butler, Pennsylvania and by two nieces and seven Nephews.
Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA, on Sunday, September 5, 2004 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, September 6, 2004 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Tim Bupp Officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

Audrey C. Hilliard, 66 of Renfrew, died Thursday, September 2, 2004 at 8:50 p.m. in Fair Winds Manor, Sarver.
Born November 7, 1937 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of John Groth and Mary Jean Beveridge.
Mrs. Hilliard was a school bus driver for Bauman and Desmond Bus Companies in the Butler and South Butler School District. She was a former member of Renfrew Methodist Church. She was an alumni of Butler High School, class of 1955. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards and needlepoint.
Mrs. Hilliard is survived by her husband Jules H. Hilliard, whom she marriage on July 3, 1974 by one son, Thomas Sims of Butler, Pennsylvania, six daughters, Mrs. Anthony (Sharon) Fazzino of Clintonville, Pennsylvania, Ms. Jennifer McKee of Chicora, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Duwayne (Tracy) Osborne of Crossville, Tennessee, Mrs. Jeffrey (Becky) Montgomery of Renfrew, Pennsylvania, Ms. Marcia Cunningham of Crossville, Tennessee, Miss Brandi Hilliard of Renfrew, Pennsylvania, by Sixteen Grandchildren, and one Great Grandchild.

Mildred R. Fudoli, 87 of Village Green Boulevard, Mars, formerly of Wallula Avenue and McKean Street died Thursday, September 2, 2004 at 9:02 p.m. at her residence.
Born May 3, 1917 in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Edgar L. McDonald and Amelia Moffit.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Kerven Subaru in Butler. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Fudoli was a reading tutor (Loblaw System) through Butler County Community College.
Mrs. Fudoli is survived by her daughter, Judith D. Madden of Mars, Pennsylvania, four grandchildren, Michael Fudoli of Butler, Pennsylvania, Laura Simpson of Arnold, Pennsylvania, Patrick Madden, Jr. of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Pamela Quiggle of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, by five great-grandchildren, Matthew Fudoli, Sheree Simpson, Tanner, Connor and Ryder Quiggle and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Fudoli was preceded in death by her husband Joseph L. Fudoli, who passed away on October 30, 1995, by one son, Robert J. Fudoli, two sisters and two brothers.
