Timothy J. Reges, age 52, of Keel Lane, Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010 suddenly at his home.
Born May 25, 1957 in Butler, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Howard W. Reges, Sr. and Cecelia A. Osche Reges.
Tim was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Cranberry Township. He was employed by Trinity Presbyterian Church in Butler, and prior to that he was employed by International Staple for thirty years until their closing. He was a member of the Oneida Bow Hunters and was an avid and accomplished hunter. He also enjoyed woodworking, gardening, canning, and he was a gentleman farmer. He loved spending time with family and friends recounting stories and enjoying each other's laughter.
Mr. Reges is survived by his wife, Lenore Elaine Hattz Reges, whom he marriage on May 3, 1980; two sons, Timothy J. Reges and his wife, Julie; Travis M. Reges and his fiance, Ann Wigton; one daughter, Nicole Zirnsak and her husband, Matthew; all of Butler; three grandchildren, Everett and Emmett Reges and Jackson Zirnsak; his mother, Cecilia A. Osche Reges of Butler; three brothers, Howard W. Reges, Jr. and his wife, Susan; Randall Reges; and Mark Reges and his wife, Pamela; two sisters, Lori Fennell, and Kimberly Cowan and her husband, Mark; all of Butler; many nieces and nephews; and his dog, Josie.
Friends and family of Mr. Reges will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wedsnesday, March 17, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be from the Hope Lutheran Church 8070 Rowan Road, Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania 16066 on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Richard Leseganich and Pastor Ronald Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Gruenwald Cemetery, Butler, Pennsylvania.
The family suggests donations be made to the Building Fund of Hope Lutheran Church 8070 Rowan Road, Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania 16066.
Garnet R. Wdovin

Garnet R. Wdovin, age 79, of Robinson Run Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 10:50 a.m. in the St. John Specialty Care Center, Mars, Pennsylvania.
Born November 10, 1930 in Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Harry Stevenson and Goldie Bowser Stevenson.
Mrs. Wdovin was a housekeeper, retiring in 1990. Mrs. Wdovin loved gardening and going for walks.
Mrs. Wdovin is survived by her husband, Nicholas Wdovin, whom she marriage in 1950; one son, Nick S. Wdovin of Butler, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Janet King and Sandy Sadlak; three grandchildren, one great- grandchild; four brothers, William Stevenson, Harry Stevenson, Ike Stevenson, and Richard Stevenson, all of Butler, and two sisters, Beatrice Burns and Lois Callihan, both of Butler.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wdovin was preceded in death by one grandson and three sisters, Elenor Brant, Marie Normon, and Eathel Lance.
A memorial service for Mrs. Wdovin will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 1046 Ekastown Road, Saxonburg, Pennsylvania 16056.

Mildred E. Raabe, age 91 of New Haven Court at Clearview formerly of Oakvale Boulevard of Butler, died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 10:05 p.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born on July 23, 1918 in New Castle, Pennsylvania; she was the daughter of the late Milton McCracken and Pearl Kildoo McCracken.
Mrs. Raabe was a member of Hill United Presbyterain Church in Butler, Pennsylvania, and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Raabe is survived by one daughter, Judith and her husband, Gaylon De Vries of Fredericksburg, Virginia, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, one daughter-in-law, Judith A. Raabe of Prospect; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel McClymonds of New Castle, and Mrs. Gladys Miles of Butler; one brother, Raymond and his wife, Mary McCracken of New Castle; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Raabe was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Raabe, who passed away July 1, 1999; one son Richard Raabe and one brother, Gaylord McCracken .
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. with Reverend Clark Sawyer of Hill United Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be private.

John H. Reynolds

John H. Reynolds (Jack), age 81 of Aspen Ridge Drive, Portersville, PA, died Friday, March 19, 2010 at 2:15 a.m. in the St. Johns Lutheran Care Center in Mars, Pennsylvania.
Born January 31, 1929 in Mauston, Wisconsin he was the son of the late James Reynolds and Eunice Wood Reynolds.
Mr. Reynolds was a welder by trade and a postal carrier for the United States Post Office, from where he retired. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Cortez, Colorado. He was a life member of the VFW. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Alaska, and was on Utah Beach during the Normandy Invasion. During the Korea War, he served in the U.S. Air Force as a loadmaster.
Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife Geraldine Arblaster St. Clair Reynolds; three step daughters Constance (Lucy) Cantgbe and her husband Wells of Albuquerque New Mexico, Cheryl Mager and her husband Daniel of Portersville, Pennsylvania, and Cathy Uniatowski and her husband Michael of Butler, Pennsylvania; seven step-grandchildren, five step great grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.
Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by one step great grandson and one brother.
There will be no public visitation or funeral services.
Edna LaVonne "Bonnie" Olen

Edna LaVonne "Bonnie" Olen, age 85 of Butler, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 2:15 p.m. in the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born November 18, 1924 in Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late James E. Dietrich and Dora A. Brown Dietrich.
Mrs. Olen was a 1941 graduate of Butler High School. She then attended Butler Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1947 as a registered nurse. She worked at the Butler Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1986. Mrs. Olen was a member of Oak Hills Christian Church - Disciples of Christ of Butler. Bonnie also enjoyed reading and scrapbooking.
Mrs. Olen is survived by one son, Michael J. Olen, and one daughter, Melanie J. Olen, both of Butler; one grandson, Michael R. Olen of Butler, one granddaughter, Lisa M. Olen of Mars; two sisters, Mrs. Delores Halahurich and Miss Donna Dietrich, both of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Olen was preceded in death by one granddaughter and one sister.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Friday, March 26, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Phillip Conyers, Jr. of Oak Hills Christian Church - Disciples of Christ officiating. Interment will follow in North Side Cemetery.

Mary E. Fry Males, age 102 formerly of Meridian where she had lived for 94 years, died Friday, March 26, 2010 at 5:05 a.m. in the Concordia at Rebecca Residence in Allison Park, Pennsylvania.
Born in Meridian on October 28, 1907 she was the daughter of the late John Henry Fry and Melvina Huselton Fry.
Mrs. Males is survived by her son, Ronald G. Males and his wife Corinne of Allison Park, five grandchildren, Kimberly Males, Leslie Males and her companion David Novak, Lori Schneider and her husband, Mark, Michael Males, and Karen Males-Benson and her husband Francis, two great grandchildren, Amanda Novak and Melissa Males who is expecting Mary's first great great grandson and by a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Males was preceded in death by her husband, August A. Males, one infant daughter, and by six brothers, two sisters.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Sunday, March 28, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the St. John's Reformed Church on Monday, March 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Robert Peterson of St. John's Reformed Church officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park.

Joyce A. Leight, age 67, of Butler, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 11:50 p.m .surrounded by her family in the Butler Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born June 25, 1942 in Cumberland, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Earl M. Royce and Margaret Reynolds Royce.
Mrs. Leight worked in the Dietary Department at Butler Memorial Hospital, retiring in 2007. She was a member of North Street Christian Church of Butler.
Mrs. Leight is survived by her husband, Lloyd G. "Bebe" Leight, whom she marriage on August 8, 1963; one son, Robert Leight of Butler; two daughters, Joni and her husband, Tom Glasgow of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and Cindy Reed of Butler; six grandchildren; two brothers, Earl and his wife, Joann Royce of Cumberland, Maryland, and Kenneth L.and his late wife, Debra Royce of Butler, and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, on Monday, April 5, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bob Huber of North Street Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rider Lutheran Cemetery.
