Born in Pittsburgh on March 18, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marjorie Williams Courtney.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Parkwood United Presbyterian Church on Mt. Royal Boulevard. She had been a commissioner of the Parkwood Troop #17, Boy Scouts of America, for more than 20 years.
Surviving are her husband, Kemp T. Gillispie Jr.; a daughter, LuAnne Manz of Middlesex Township; three sons, Michael Noftz and Kemp T. Gillispie III, both of Middlesex Township, and Joseph Noftz of Morningside; two sisters, Verna Kreps of Florida and JoAnn Taylor of Harrisburg; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
There was no visitation. Friends attended a memorial service at Parkwood United Presbyterian Church on Thursday, Jan. 15.
Donna Mae Thomas of Fombell died Saturday, Jan. 17, 1998, at Ellwood City Hospital after a short illness. She was 67.
Born in West View on May 16, 1930, she was the daughter of Kathryn Moore Bergman of Zelienople and the late Wilbert Bergman.
She was a salesperson in the electronics department at Hills Department Store and a Protestant by faith. She belonged to the local craft club.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Jeffrey E. and Randy Thomas, both of Fombell; two brothers, Lyle Bergman of Bethel Park and Larry Bergman of Amissville, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Carol) Gardner of Ames, Iowa, and Mrs. Lawson (Lynn) Klauss of Stubenville, Ohio; and two grandsons, Joshua Ethan and Lawson Aaron Thomas, both of Fombell.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Edward Thomas; and one brother, Glenn Bergman.
Friends were received at the Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home in Zelienople on Monday, Jan. 19. Services were held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 20, with the Rev. Larry Bergman, brother of the deceased, officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.
The family requests memorial contributions be made on her behalf to the charity of the donor's choice.
William A. Hill, 56, of Cranberry Township died on Wednesday, June 10 [1998] at St. Francis Nursing Center in Cranberry.
He was born Sept. 18, 1941 in Chicago, the son of the late Edward T. and Lois Watt Hill.
He retired in 1991 as a service technician with Eastman Kodak Company. Following his retirement, he worked locally at the Bulk Mail Center in Cranberry.
He was a member of North Hills Church of God and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his mother, Lois G. Hill of Marseilles, Ill.; a sister, Joyce McGarvy of Detroit, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew.

Edgar D. Say, 53, of Zelienople, died unexpectedly on Sunday morning, May 28, [2000] at St. Francis Hospital Cranberry, of natural causes.
Born in Bruin on April 12, 1947, he was the son of the late Edgar F. and Betty O. Uhlenburg Say.
A U.S. Postal Service employee at the Bulk Mail Center in Warrendale, he worked in the maintenance department and was a heavy-equipment trainer.
An Army veteran of Vietnam, Mr. Say was a member of the West View Veterans of Foreign Wars Post. He also was a member of the Sinnamahoning Sportsmen's Club and the National Rifle Association.
Surviving are his wife, Suzanne Crane Say, whom he married on May 16, 1969; two daughters, Brenda Say of Cranberry Township and Brandie Say of Zelienople; a brother, Robert Say of Butler; two aunts, May Uhlenburg and Eileen Zinkham, both of Zelienople; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends were received at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home Inc., 238 Crowe Ave. in Mars.
The funeral will be held today (Wednesday) at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Jim Klein, a family friend, will officiate.
Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery in Pine Township.
Angeline Spinelli DeLuca, 83, of Forest Hills died April 12, 2000.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph DeLuca; and a sister, Toni Vargo.
Surviving are her sister, Edith Ambrose and her husband, James, of Florida; and nieces and nephews.

James Alton Howell, 78, of Winter Haven, Calif., died April 8, 2000.
He was born in Greensburg, the son of James and Mary Stuart Franklin Howell.
He was a retired minister at Free Gospel Church.
He also had served churches in North Braddock, McKees Rocks, Pittsburgh's North Side, Youngstown, Ohio, and Akron, Ohio.
Surviving are his wife, Charlene Howell; his daughters, Mary Ellen Palmer and Ruth Charlene Scoville; a sister, Dorothy Dutka; and four grandchildren.

Interment was at Hillview Cemetery .
The Rev. Dr. William Minteer, 89, of Monroeville died April 16, 2000.
Born Aug. 5, 1910, in Wilkinsburg, he was a graduate of Muskingum College, Pittsburgh-Xenia Theological Seminary and the University of Pittsburgh graduate school.
His full-time pastorates included Brockton United Presbyterian Church in Mass-achusetts, Broadway United Presbyterian Church in East McKeesport, Homewood Unit-ed Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, Bellevue United Presbyterian Church in Pitts-burgh and Hillcrest United Presbyterian Church in Monroeville.
After retiring, the Rev. Minteer served as interim pastor for many area congregations.
The Rev. Minteer also was pastor emeritus of Hillcrest United Presbyterian Church.
He was a member of Hillcrest AARP Chapter 2557.
The Rev. Minteer also was a member of Pittsburgh Pres-bytery, where he served on several committees.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Strong Minteer; a daughter, Emily Leff; and a nephew.

She was born in Butler, the daughter of George and Eva Gibson.
She was a retired cook at Palmieri's Restaurant.

Jacqueline Lynch Taylor, 63, of Monroeville died April 14, 2000.
She was born in Braddock, the daughter of Bernard and Rose Salkai Lynch.
She was a demonstrator with Friendly Homes.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Adams; sisters, Patsy Novosel and Gerri Terk; and a brother, Bernard Lynch.
Surviving are her sons, James, Kenneth Gregory, Jon and Chris Taylor; a daughter, Luanne Speir; brothers, Ira and Edward Lynch; 16 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
