Mary Wiles McJunkin, 91, formerly of Lower Burrell and of New Kensington, died Sunday at St. Barnabas Home, Gibsonia, where she had been a patient for four years.
Born Feb. 13, 1910, in New Kensington, she was the daughter of J.W. and Mary Campbell Wiles.
She was a 1928 graduate of New Kensington High School and had worked at the Myers Furniture Co., New Kensington, for years.
Mrs. McJunkin was a 90-year member of Trinity United Christian Church of Lower Burrell, formerly Trinity United Church of Christ of New Kensington. She also belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star, New Kensington.
Surviving are a stepson, Roger Vaughn McJunkin of Chicora; a stepdaughter, Mary Jane Perry Carle of Dayton, Ohio; seven step-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; a step-great-great-grandchild; a nephew; and a niece.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn D. McJunkin, who died in 1991; and two brothers.

Eleanor Ruth McLaughlin
Eleanor Ruth McLaughlin, 84, formerly of West Sunbury, died at 5:10 p.m. Sunday at the Shenango Presbyterian Home, New Wilmington.
Born in Brady Township, April 19, 1917, she was the daughter of Franklin B. and Margaret Sager Laughner.
She was an alumna of Grove City College, where she majored in English. She also studied English and Spanish at Slippery Rock State Teachers’ College, now Slippery Rock University.
Mrs. McLaughlin retired as an English teacher for Moniteau School District after 30 years.
She was a member of the West Sunbury Presbyterian Church, where she had been a choir member. She also belonged to the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Butler Music Club and the West Sunbury Firemen’s Auxiliary
During World War II, she served in entertainment with the Red Cross.
Her husband, Claude McLaughlin, died in September 1986.
She is survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
McLAUGHLIN - Friends of Eleanor Ruth McLaughlin, who died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. Clarence Leroy ‘Pete’ Orr
Clarence LeRoy “Pete” Orr, 86, of Clintonville died at 8:52 a.m. Monday at Northwest Medical Center, Franklin, after an unexpected illness.
Born Dec. 2, 1914, in Leesburg, Mercer County, he was a son of William and Claudia Infield Orr.
He had retired as a drill press operator at Cooper Energy Services, Grove City. He also had been a bus driver in the Franklin School District for Moore’s Transportation Services, formerly of Clintonville, for years.
Mr. Orr was a member of the Rankin Chapel United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Clintonville Lions Club.
He was an avid bowler.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. George L. (Elsie I.) Taylor of Harrisville, Mrs. Richard W. (Patricia W.) Shuster of Mercer and Mrs. John D. (Roxanne L.) Barclay of Petrolia; a son, Floyd L. Orr of Clintonville; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His wife, Clara N. Moore Orr, whom he married May 28, 1937, died Feb. 8, 2001. A brother and a sister also preceded him in death.
ORR - Friends of Clarence LeRoy “Pete” Orr, who died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at LARRY E. McKINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 103 Emlenton St., Clintonville. Funeral and committal services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lee Thompson, his church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Clintonville Methodist Cemetery .

Pura Boullosa
Pura Boullosa, 88, of Cabot died Tuesday at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning.
Born in Cuba, Nov. 1, 1913, she was the daughter of Santiago and Maria De LaGuardia Mesqueue.
She had retired as an executive secretary at GTE in Stanford, Conn.
She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and Concordia Day Services, both of Cabot.
Surviving are a daughter, Marie Cecilia Gonzalez of Roseville, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Rosita Wein of New Jersey; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
BOULLOSA - Friends of Pura Boullosa, who died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, Saxonburg. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Cabot. The Rev. Michael Greb, O.F.M. Cap., church pastor, will officiate.

Ann Matilda Semel
Ann Matilda Semel, 95, of La Mesa, Calif., formerly of Zelienople, died Nov. 21 in California.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William (Katherine) Harpel of Glenshaw and Mrs. William (Margaret) Girdwood of La Mesa; a son, Joseph A. Semel Jr. of Zelienople; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Semel Sr.
SEMEL - A Mass of Christian burial for Ann Matilda Semel, who died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2001, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, Zelienople. The Rev. Charles Bergman, church pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at the church Cemetery .

Oliver J. ‘Sox’ Price
Oliver J. “Sox” Price, 84, of Richland Township died Monday at Fosnight Retirement Center, Gibsonia.
Born May 19, 1917, in Renfrew, he was the son of Oliver A. and Ada Stinson Price.
He was a graduate of Penn Township High School and Grove City College.
In 1950, he and his first wife, Martha, built and established Bakerstown Golf Course, which was renamed Pittsburgh North Golf Club in 1969.
Mr. Price was a member of the PGA, the Pennsylvania Golf Course Owners, and the Etna Elks.
He was a first lieutenant in the Army Air Force during World War II and was among a select group chosen to attend logistical training at Harvard. He was awarded the Bronze Service Star.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Walker Price; four sons, Oliver J. Price of California, Jack Price of Richland Township, Jeff Price of Marietta, Ohio, and Dennis Price of Mars; three daughters, Patricia Price and Donna Lauff, both of Richland Township, and Susan Thompson of Alexandria, Va. Eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
PRICE - Friends of Oliver J. “Sox” Price, who died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown. The Rev. Dr. David McDonald, church pastor, will officiate. Burial will be private.

Robert G. Hansotte
Robert G. Hansotte, 79, of 729 Center Ave. died at 2:50 p.m. Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a one-year illness.
Born in Butler, Dec. 16, 1921, he was the son of Camille and Alice LeRoy Hansotte.
He retired from Armco-Butler Works in 1983 after 41 years.
Mr. Hansotte was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and Lyndora American Legion Michael Kosar Post 778. He was an honorary life member of Parker City Volunteer Fire Department.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Orton Hansotte to whom he was married for 54 years; a son, Ronald Hansotte of New Castle; a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Tina) Dunkle of Butler; a brother, Richard Hansotte of Butler; and five grandchildren. Also surviving are an uncle, retired Col. Raymond Hansotte of Colorado and a number of nieces and nephews.
A brother preceded him in death.

Marietta Davis
Marietta Davis, 80, formerly of Zelienople and East Butler, died Jan. 6, 2001,, in Daytona Beach, Fla., where she lived for 36 years.
She was born Oct. 24, 1920.
Her husband, David Clair Davis, and a son preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Irwin and Kathy Berry, both of Florida, and Sharon Cooper of Maryland; a son, David Davis of Utah; six grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
DAVIS - A memorial service for Marietta Davis, who died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Zelienople Cemetery .
Edward H. Ondrizek
Edward H. Ondrizek, 91, of Gettysburg, formerly of the Zelienople area, died Sunday morning, June 10, 2001, at Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village.
Born Feb. 2, 1910, in Blairsville, Indiana County, he was the son of Edward J. and Mary D. Henderson Ondrizek.
He was a member of the Zelienople English Lutheran Church, where he had been a deacon and served in other capacities. He was a former member of the Odd Fellows.
A 1929 graduate of Blairsville High School, he retired as plant supervisor at Universal Manufacturing, after 37 years. He later was a radio dispatcher for the Zelienople Police Department for more than 20 years.
In 1951, he was one of the founders of the Zelienople-Harmony Athletic Association, where he had been active in youth baseball and served as coach, umpire and board member. He also was secretary of the Zelienople Community Parks Association for years.
He was an active bowler and hunter well into his 80s.
His wife, Harriett Marsh Ondrizek, died in 1998.
Surviving are a son, Lynn Ondrizek of Gettysburg; a daughter, Janet R. Romanick of Rochester, N.Y.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. A brother, Albert Ondrizek of Florida; two sisters, Doris Uncapher and Darl Grizbicki, both of Blairsville; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Josephine A. Karch
Josephine A. Karch, 93, formerly of Bonniebrook Road, died at 12:45 a.m. Sunday at Ridgeview Boarding Home, Fenelton.
Born in Ford City, Armstrong County, May 30, 1908, she was the daughter of Sebastian and Agnes Kreutz Weber.
Mrs. Karch was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman and had been a charter member of the Herman Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son, Edward A. Karch of Butler; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Dolores) McClafferty of Fenelton, Mrs. Josephine Schnur of Herman and Mrs. Edward (Elaine) Bercik of Edinboro; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Four brothers, John, Base, Albert and Leonard Weber, all of Butler also survive.
Her husband, Adam J. Karch, died Feb. 9, 1983. A son, grandson, three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
