Mary Grace Wolfe, age 94 formerly of Vogel Road, Butler died Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. in Shelbourne Assisted Living.
Born February 13, 1911 in New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Jim Holben and the late Effie Mohney.
Mrs. Wolfe was a homemaker. She was a member of Unionville United Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed knitting.
Mrs. Wolfe is survived by three sons, John (Jack) Wolfe of Butler, Pennsylvania, George Wolfe of Apollo, Pennsylvania, Donald Wolfe of Butler, Pennsylvania; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, two brothers, James Holben of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dean Holben of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania; one sister, Twila Jean Adams of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wolfe was preceded in death by her husband Frank W. Wolfe who passed away on July 16, 1995 and by one brother and two sisters.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Matt Kail officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Elizabeth Ann Wick
February 16, 1911 - February 16, 2005
Elizabeth Ann Wick, age 94 of formerly of Lumar Village, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at 8:20 p.m. in the Sunnyview Home.
Born February 16, 1911 in Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late George Bob Wick and the late Lucile Walker.
Miss Wick retired from the Red Cross, Butler County Chapter, serving from 1936 to 1960. She was a member of Covenant U. P. Church. She attended Maryland College for Women. She was a lifetime resident of Butler and a longtime resident of Chautauqua, New York.
Miss Wick has no surviving relatives.
There will be no public visitation.
Graveside services will be held at the North Side Cemetery with Reverend Dr. James E. Swanson officiating.
Arrangements are be handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania 16001.

Nancy C. Smith, age 66 of North Monroe Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at 9:35 a.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born December 19, 1938 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Edward C. Nething and the late Margaret Frances Wise.
She was a barmaid for Milligans Bar in Butler and formerly a barmaid for the Saxonburg Fire Hall, Saxonburg. She attended First English Lutheran Church.
Ms. Smith is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Robin) Taylor of Saxonburg, Pennsylvania, Ms. Renee Smith of Butler, Pennsylvania; two sons, Robert D. Smith of Rochester, New Hampshire, Randy D. Smith of Butler, Pennsylvania; by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two sisters, Deborah S. Gall of Chicora, Pennsylvania, Mrs. David (Geraldine) Bower of Annville, Pennsylvania and by seven nieces and nephews. Ms. Smith was formerly marriage to David J. Smith of Chicora, Pennsylvania
Ms. Smith was preceded in death by a son and a sister.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Friday, February 18, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend James W. Dollhopf officiating. Interment will follow in Pinewood Cemetery.

Harvey K. Hilliard
January 6, 1952 - February 13, 2005
Harvey K. Hilliard, age 53 of Vandenberg Drive, Biloxi, Mississippi, died Sunday, February 13, 2005 at 2:04 p.m. in the emergency room at the Medical Center at Keesler AFB, Biloxi, Mississippi.
Born January 6, 1952 in El Paso, Texas he was the son of Shirley Ann Kennedy and the late Kenneth Russell Hilliard.
Mr. Hilliard was a Colonel in the U. S. Air Force. He was a CRNA, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. His life was the military and his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing.
Mr. Hilliard is survived by his wife Leota M. (Mahle) Hilliard whom he marriage on August 12, 1977, by two daughters, Mary Brown-Frazier of Biloxi, Mississippi, Shirley Hilliard of Oxford, Mississippi; three grandchildren, William Brown, Jasmine Brown, LaDeja Frazier; his mother, Shirley Ann Hilliard of Butler, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Susan) Ragan of Prospect, Pennsylvania, Mrs. George (Marjorie) Pavlinsky of Valencia, Pennsylvania; one brother, Randolph Hilliard of Fairbanks, Alaska; and by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hilliard was preceded in death by his father and his nephew.

Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, February 21, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dan Aluise officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
Full military honors will be conducted by an honor guard from Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D. C. at the Cemetery.

Catherine M. GreenBarg, age 81 of West Penn Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, February 12, 2005 at Sunnyview Home.
Born May 1, 1923 in Meadville, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Howard Houston and the late Lucille Reynolds.
Mrs. GreenBarg was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a 1941 Butler High School Graduate. Mrs. GreenBarg worked for the Butler Area School District from 1976-1982; she was also employed early in her life as a secretary for Heckett Engineering and Ivywood Coal Company.
Mrs. GreenBarg is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Tim (Pam) Scott of Meridian, Pennsylvania; two sons, William Rose of Arizona, and Bruce GreenBarg of Butler, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Billy Rose, Barbara Parsons, Nicole Scott, Krista Scott and Alex GreenBarg, two great-grandchildren, Jonathan Parsons and Marissa Jean Olson, two sisters, Mrs. Karl (Thelma) Baldauf, Mrs. James (Shirley) McKinney, and by one brother, Howard L. Houston.
Mrs. GreenBarg was preceded in death by her first husband, John Rose and her second husband, Nathan GreenBarg.

Services will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Thomas Pierotti officiating. Interment will follow in Geenlawn Burial Estates.

Gilmore T. "Gil" Gilliland
September 3, 1937 - February 11, 2005
Gilmore Thomas "Gil" Gilliland, age 67 of Connoquenessing, Pennsylvania, died Friday, February 11, 2005 at 6:30 a.m. at his residence.
Born September 3, 1937 in Prospect, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Carl Novel Gilliland and the late Mildred A. Cunningham.
Mr. Gilliland retired from Pullman-Standard in 1981. He formerly co-owned B & G Parts and Machine, formerly worked for Zanotti Motor Company and at the time of his death drove bus for A. J. Myers and Sons. Mr. Gilliland was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. He was a member of the Butler Area Street Machine Association, he enjoyed hunting and working on and building Harley-Davidson Motorcycles.
Mr. Gilliland is survived by his wife Tedda Burleigh Gilliland whom he marriage on July 1, 2000, by three daughters, Julie Sue Angerett of Butler, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Fred (Valerie Jean) Pferdehirt of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Jeff (Kay Ellen) Ridgway of Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania; by two sons, Gilmore (Tom) and his wife Edna Gilliland, Jr. of Butler, Pennsylvania, Martin Lewis Gilliland of Butler, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Mark Anthony Angerett, Erin Gilliland, Clinton Gilliland, Edward T. Pferdehirt and Erick M. Pferdehirt, one step-son, Christopher D. Burleigh of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania and one step-daughter, Mrs. Jim (Michelle D.) Ellenberger of Butler, Pennsylvania, three step-grandchildren, Justin and Jesse Ellenberger and Hildi Burleigh, one sister, Mrs. Edward (Elsie) Kooser of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; four brothers, Carl Gilliland of Fort Myers, Florida, Ken Gilliland of Butler, Pennsylvania, Lewis Gilliland of Butler, Pennsylvania and Don Gilliland of Fort Myers, Florida and also by eight nieces and four nephews.
