Kevin H. Fencil, age 49 of Thorn Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 2:26 p.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born June 24, 1955 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Wayne R. Fencil and the late Norma Jean Love.
Mr. Fencil was formerly employed at Castle Rubber until it's closing in 2003. He was currently training in H.V.A.C. at the New Castle School of Trades. He attended Christ Outreach Church and Community Alliance Church. Mr. Fencil graduated from Butler High School, class of 1973. He was past president of Local #116 United Rubber Worker's Union, was a former manager, officer and umpire of the East Butler Baseball Association and an alumni member of East Butler Baseball Association. He was an avid bowler and bowled in several area leagues.
Mr. Fencil is survived by one daughter, Heather Fencil, one son, Travis Fencil both of Butler, Pennsylvania; by three brothers and their wives, Bruce and Pauline Fencil of Butler, Pennsylvania, Paul and Linda Fencil of Chicora, Pennsylvania, Scott and Karen Fencil of West Sunbury, Pennsylvania; a step-grandmother, Lucille Love of Nixon, Pennsylvania; and by a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Mary J. Sickles from East Butler Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.

Tyrone "Ty" G. Galvan
May 21, 1940 - March 17, 2005
Tyrone "Ty" G. Galvan, age 64 of Colonial Gardens Personal Care Home, formerly of Apollo, Pennsylvania died Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Born May 21, 1940 in Akron, Ohio he was the son of the late Burt "Red" Galvan and the late Rose Schmidt Galvan.
Mr. Galvan was a machine operator for Heckett Engineering in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania. He was Methodist by faith. He was an Air Force veteran, Vietnam veteran, American Legion and VFW member. Mr. Galvan enjoyed fishing and was an avid life-long Cleveland Browns fan.
Mr. Galvan is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Amanda Galvan of Butler, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Kathy Logan of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Colton Logan, Clinton Logan, Clayton Logan all of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania; and by his Dog Murphy.
Mr. Galvan was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Galvan.
Private visitation and services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday, March 20, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Henry B. Hall, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.

Joseph A. Warner
December 21, 1919 - March 16, 2005
Joseph A. Warner, age 85 of 417 Preston Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at 12:04 p.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Butler, Pennsylvania on December 21, 1919, he was the son of the late Lewis Warner and Mary Hortert Warner.
Mr. Warner retired in 1982 as an electrician in the processing maintenance department at Butler Armco after almost forty years of service. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church, the American Legion, Post # 778 in Lyndora, Pennsylvania, the Joseph T. Black Post # 249 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Highfield Community Center and the Century Club. He was a veteran of the United States Army Infantry serving as a platoon sergeant in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. He was a recipient of the bronze star, Philippine liberation ribbon, the good conduct medal and the World War II Victory medal.
He is survived by his wife Janet Mae Daller Warner, whom he marriage on July 2, 1941, by one son, Joseph J. Warner of Butler, Pennsylvania, one daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Linda) Musser of Indianapolis, Indiana, six grandchildren, three great-grandsons, one sister, Mrs. Helen McKindree of Butler, Pennsylvania and by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his twin brother.
Friends and family of Joseph A. Warner will be received on Friday, March 18, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania 16001.
Funeral services will be from the First English Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. with Reverend James W. Dollhopf officiating. Entombment will follow at the Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery.
A military services will be conducted at the Cemetery by the American Legion Post #778 and the V.F.W. Post #249.
Norma M. Morrison
January 7, 1920 - March 15, 2005
Norma M. Morrison, age 85 of Concordia Lund Care Center, Cabot, formerly of West Palm Beach, Florida, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born January 7, 1920 in Buffalo, New York she was the daughter of the late Otto Milsap and the late Grace Meyer.
Mrs. Morrison was a mother and homemaker. She graduated from Bennett High School, Buffalo, New York. She enjoyed reading, decorating and collecting.
Mrs. Morrison is survived by three sons and their wives, Harry and Ann Morrison, Dwight and Betty Morrison, Frederick and Alison Kettering; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Morrison marriage Harry A. Morrison in March of 1947; he preceded her in death on April 1983.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania.

Margaret A. Allison
February 24, 1925 - March 15, 2005
Margaret A. Allison, age 80 of Third Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at 3:45 p.m. in the Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
Born February 24, 1925 in Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late John Adam Greer and the late Garnet Goughler.
Mrs. Allison was a homemaker. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church. Mrs. Allison has been an active volunteer in her church for many years. She was also a member of the Butler Hospital Auxiliary.
Mrs. Allison is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Martin (Valerie June) Burke of Fredericksburg, Virginia; a grand-daughter, Allison P. Carinci of Fredericksburg, Virginia; a great-grand-daughter, Kailey James; two sisters, Emma M. Miller of West Sunbury, Pennsylvania, and June Reddick of Butler, Pennsylvania; and also by a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Allison marriage William C. Allison on August 24, 1946, he preceded her in death on August 22, 1984. She is also preceded in death by one brother.
A memorial services will be held at the First English Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend James Dollhopf officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

Esther Hess Foster Thomas
December 12, 1918 - March 10, 2005
Esther Hess Foster Thomas, age 86 of Prospect, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, March 10, 2005 at her residence.
Born December 12, 1918 in Six Mile Run, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Charles Hess and the late Arah Edwards Hess Evans.
Mrs. Thomas was self-employed and had her own restaurant and catering business in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She then became involved with the home health care industry in the Butler area. She regularly attended the West Liberty United Methodist Church in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania with her daughter. She held all positions in the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 866. She was Past Chapeau of Legion 8/40 where her project was to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. Mrs. Thomas enjoyed growing houseplants, working in her gardens and taking care of her fishpond. She also enjoyed cooking and feeding many she loved in her dining room and she took pleasure in the fellowship of her family. .
Mrs. Thomas is survived by three sons, Lenus Foster of Ruskin, Florida, Kendall Foster of Chalfont, Pennsylvania, Stanley Foster of Dripping Springs, Texas; two step-sons, Merle Thomas of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Roy Thomas of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania; a daughter, Rebecca Foster Gitzen of Prospect, Pennsylvania; a step-daughter, Elaine Wills of Texas; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and great nephews; and by a sister, Charolett DeArmitt of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania
Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by first her husband, Woodrow W. Foster, who was deceased April 4, 1962, also her second husband Eugene Thomas, who was deceased August 8, 2002 and by her four brothers and two sisters.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Sunday, March 13, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Services will be held at the West Liberty United Methodist Church Monday, March 14, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend James A. Lewis of West Liberty United Methodist Church and Reverend Kenneth C. Hall of North Main Street Church of God officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens in Cheswick, Pennsylvania.
