Mabel Snow, 87 of Butler died at 6:15 p.m. Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Sept. 12, 1914, in Butler, she was the daughter of Charles R. and Clara Henry Scudder.
She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Mrs. Snow was a retired Realtor from Thomas Gaiser Realty.
Surviving are her husband Paul C. Snow; two sons, Herman Alvin Winters Jr. of Butler and Paul L. Winters, with whom she made her home; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Her first husband, Herman A. Winters Sr., who died July 19, 1961; a sister, and two brothers preceded her in death.

Anna C. McGrath
Anna C. McGrath, 90, of Marion, Ind., and formerly of Butler, died Saturday at the Bradner Village Health Care Center in Marion.
Born Oct. 14, 1911 in Vandergrift, Westmoreland County, she was a daughter of Martini and Mariar Ann Kimpel Cannon.
A former Butler resident, Mrs. McGrath also lived in Nazareth, Pa.
While living in Butler, she was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and had been active with the Girl Scouts for years.
She moved to Marion from Butler in 1997.
She was a former member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph McGrath, whom she married Aug. 13, 1938.
Also surviving are two sons, Thomas McGrath of Marion and Michael McGrath of Witchita, Kan.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (JoAnne) Royer of Seneca, S.C.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday from St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery , Butler.
The St. Paul’s Guild and Christian Mothers will recite the rosary at 9:40 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Timothy H. Main
Timothy H. Main, 47, of Cranberry Township died Saturday at St. Francis Hospital North, Cranberry Township.
Born Jan. 29, 1954, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Forest and Marjorie Hastings Main.
He was a member of St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church of Cranberry Township and the Republican Club of Cranberry Township.
He currently was serving his third term as Cranberry Township constable and belonged to the Pennsylvania State Constables’ Association and the Butler County Law Enforcement Association.
Surviving are his wife, Cherrie L. Bauer Main, whom he married Nov. 4, 1972; two daughters, Amanda Boyle of Portersville and Lucy Main of Cranberry Township; and two granddaughters.
Two brothers preceded him in death.

Minerva H. Gasperini
Minerva H. Gasperini, 86, of Sunrise Assisted Living in Mars, formerly of New Port Richey, Fla., died Monday morning at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center, Mars.
Born in Patterson, N.J., Oct. 26, 1916, she was the daughter of William Huston and Margaret Sturkenberg Green.
Mrs. Gasperini and her husband had owned House of Cheer, a retail liquor store in New Jersey, and enjoyed traveling in the United States. She was an avid golfer and bowler and enjoyed playing bingo and cards.
She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in New Port Richey.
Surviving are a son, Thomas W. Gasperini and his wife Judy of Cranberry Township; a daughter-in-law, Florence Gasperini of New Jersey; and four grandchildren, Wendy and Christy Gasperini, both of New Jersey, Michele Gasperini of North Carolina and Wayne Gasperini of Colorado.
Her husband, Italo Gasperini, whom she married Aug. 10, 1940, died June 14, 1987. She also was preceded in death by a son, Edward M. Gasperini; and a brother, William Green.
GASPERINI - Friends of Minerva H. Gasperini, who died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, are invited to a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Sunrise Assisted Living, 10 Adams Ridge Blvd., Mars. The Rev. Grace A. Cannon
Grace A. Cannon, 74, of Lisbon, Venango County, died at 7:30 p.m. Friday at UPMC Northwest in Franklin after a sudden illness.
Born June 15, 1927, in Kennerdell, Venango County, she was the daughter of John L. Coulter and Gladys L. Jacobs.
She attended Rockdale School in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, and was a graduate of Emlenton High School.
Mrs. Cannon was a registered nurse and retired from Polk Center after 20 years. She also had been a nurse at Wesley School, Rockdale School and Emlenton School, was a surgical nurse for Dr. G.C. McCandless in Franklin, worked at Grove City Hospital and George Junior in Grove City and had been a nurse at Cooper Energy in Grove City for a number of years.
She was a member of the Nurses Alumni of Butler County, the Pennsylvania Nurses Association and the American Association of Retired Persons and a volunteer at Scrubgrass Senior Center, where she did blood pressure screenings.
Surviving are two children, Mary Martha and John M. Cannon, both of Emlenton; and one granddaughter. She also is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Donald A. (Elsie Anna) Elder of Emlenton and Mary Fawn McBride Jr. of Clintonville; a cousin; and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Joseph LeVon Cannon, whom she married July 18, 1952, died Oct. 8, 2001. Two sisters also preceded her in death

Elizabeth G. Walls
Elizabeth G. Walls, 90, of Mayfield Drive in Center Township died Wednesday at Sunnyview Nursing Home.
Born in Butler, Jan. 31, 1912, she was the daughter of Robert Lee and Rachel Grayson Kennedy.
A 1930 graduate of Butler High School, she had been the first secretary at the PARC Sheltered Workshop and retired in May 1967.
Mrs. Walls was a member of the Faith United Presbyterian Church, the Women of Faith Missionary Circle, the Woman’s Club of Butler and the American Association of Retired Persons.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Margaret W. Spears of Dover, N.H.; two step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two nieces; and a number of grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
Her first husband, Harry B. Kerr, whom she married June 7, 1935, died May 19, 1965; and her second husband, Fay T. Walls, died July 23, 1996.

Donald C McIlvain
Donald C McIlvain, 87, of Lowrie House, formerly of Deleson Avenue, died at 2:15 a.m. today at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Butler, Feb. 24, 1914, he was the son of John B. and Sarah Caldwell McIlvain.
He had been a sales engineer at Thermal Transfer Corp. and retired in 1983.
Mr. McIlvain was a member and an elder emeritus of Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church. He also belonged to the Butler Lodge 272 F&AM, Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of New Castle, Legion of Honor, Syria Temple, Shrine Luncheon Club, Butler Elks Lodge 170 and the Esquire Club.
During World War II, he served with the Navy in the South Pacific and the Aleutian Islands.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rojean Miles McIlvain, who died in 1947; and by his second wife, Corrine “Punky” Brown McIlvain, who died Oct. 26, 1998. He also was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Amy J. Latimore
Amy J. Latimore, 20, of West Sunbury died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at Allegheny General Hospital.
Born Jan. 22, 1982, in Butler, she was the daughter of Charles and Claire Gray Latimore.
She enjoyed art and chorus, graduated from Moniteau High School in 2000 and was a full-time student at Butler County Community College.
Miss Latimore was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, West Sunbury.
Surviving are her parents with whom she made her home; four sisters, Mrs. Richard (Karen E.) Altman of West Sunbury, Cathy Latimore of Butler and twins, Mrs. Jason (Cynthia) Beatty of Parker, Colo., and Denise Latimore of Slippery Rock. Her maternal grandfather, Sidney B. Gray of Newport, Maine; an uncle; and two nephews, also survive.

Jeanie Gunn Fischer
Jeanie McEwan Gunn Fischer, 89, of St. Johns Specialty Care Center in Mars died Sunday at the center.
Born Feb. 19, 1913, in Glasgow, Scotland, she was the daughter of Allan and Elizabeth Lawson Gunn.
Mrs. Fischer was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Zelienople.
She is survived by two sons, John Fischer of West Melbourne, Fla., and Allan Fischer of Cranberry Township; a brother, Allan Gunn of Schroon Lake, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack M. Fischer, who died May 8, 1970, and a grandson.
FISCHER - A memorial service for Jeanie McEwan Gunn Fischer, who died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 250 Evans Road, Zelienople, with the brothers of the hall officiating.

Eleanor J. Guckert
Eleanor J. Crawford Guckert, 89, of Carnegie died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002.
She is survived by four daughters, Patricia M. Fincher of Saxonburg, Pandora K. Geyer, Eleanor M. Mattern and Jacqueline J. Terry; three sons, Thomas R. Guckert and Ralph T. and Arthur R. Crawford; 20 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. A sister, Lois Gotti also survives.
A son and a brother preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, North Side, Pittsburgh.
