Rebecca Ann LeMay, infant daughter of Patrick K. and Ann E. Wiest LeMay of 103 Hazlett Ave., died at birth Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sisters, Elizabeth and twins, Erin and Emma LeMay, all at home; her maternal grandparents, Joseph C. and Betty A. Wiest of Butler; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Patricia LeMay of New Jersey; her paternal great-grandparents, Currie and Helen Mombourquette of Boston, Mass.; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Robert R. Lehnerd
Robert R. Lehnerd, 77, of Butler died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 20, 1924, in Butler, he was a son of Philip and Teresa McGowan Lehnerd.
In 1986, he retired from American Glass Research Co., where he was senior vice president of manufacturing and sales. He had worked for AGR and Preston Laboratories for 44½ years.
He has served as treasurer of the Butler Rotary Club for 20 years and was a member of Tanglewood Senior Center and the AARP.
He was a lifelong member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler and had served as an usher.
He was an active golfer and bowler.
A World War II veteran, he had served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theater.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hein Lehnerd, whom he married June 12, 1948.
Also surviving are four daughters, Kathleen Lehnerd, Mrs. Robert (Susan) Davis and Mrs. John (Jean) Hall, all of Butler, and Mrs. Dan (Janet) Peckenpaugh of Colleyville, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Eury of Oil City; two brothers, Philip Lehnerd Jr. of Butler and Edward Lehnerd of Cabot; six grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
LEHNERD - Friends of Robert R. Lehnerd, who died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday from St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St. A time for the service will be announced later. Burial will be at St. Peter Parish Cemetery in Butler.
Clyde W. Griffiths
Clyde W. Griffiths, 70, of Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County, died Wednesday at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning.
Born in Frogtown, Sugarcreek Township, April 1, 1931, he was the son of Lester and Mae McElhaney Griffiths.
He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ of Chicora R.D. 1.
Mr. Griffiths worked at Butler Battery in Butler and was retired from Penreco in Karns City.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was an avid hunter and a member of the Frogtown Wildlife Club. He also belonged to Antique Automobile Club of America.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred Kiser Griffiths; a son, James Griffiths of East Brady R.D. 1; two daughters, Patricia Alcibiade of Mt. Zion, Ill., and Cindy Griffiths at home; and five grandchildren. A brother, Harry Griffiths of Sugarcreek Township, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Griffiths, who died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Cowansville. Visitation also will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, where services will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Joseph Kiewra, church pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery , Chicora R.D. 1.
M. Elaine Allen
M. Elaine Allen, 74, of Mayfield Drive, formerly of Slippery Rock, died at 2:20 a.m. today at Sunnyview Nursing Home after a three-month illness.
Born in Grove City, Sept. 7, 1927, she was the daughter of Ralph E. and Gladys Smith Conner.
She was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church of Slippery Rock, Eastern Star Chapter 86 of Grove City and the White Shrine.
Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and had worked at P. Wall Manufacturing in Grove City several years ago.
Surviving are her husband, Jack F. Allen; and a brother, Edwin Conner of Kenton, Ohio.
ALLEN - Friends of M. Elaine Allen, who died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Timothy Bauler, her church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Slippery Rock Cemetery .
Madeline T. Ritchey
Madeline T. Ritchey, 80, of Palm Coast, Fla., died Dec. 28, 2001.
Born in Butler, she was the daughter of Martin and Rose Stemmer Kaib.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church of Oxford, N.C., the Oxford Club of the North Carolina Extension and Community Association and the Red Hat Society.
Surviving are her two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Ann Hessler of Palm Coast, Fla., and Mrs. Donna Marie George of Fort Myers, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Ritchey.
Funeral services were at St. James Catholic Church, Oxford, with the Rev. Bill Long officiating. Burial followed at Meadowview Memorial Park, Oxford.

Dorothy Campbell Neely
Dorothy Jane Campbell Neely, 91, of Pataskala, Ohio, died Jan. 9, 2002.
Born Feb. 21, 1910, in Butler, she was the daughter of William John and Mary Jane Bulford Campbell.
A resident of Butler County for most of her, she had been a Girl Scout leader and had been a volunteer at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center for 32 years.
Mrs. Neely was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church.
During World War II, she rode the train to Pittsburgh to give blood every two months.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Neely Banyay of Johnstown, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Harry L. Neely; a brother; and two sons preceded her in death.
NEELY - A memorial service for Dorothy Jane Campbell Neely, who died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002, will be held Feb. 16 at KINSEY-VOLZ FUNERAL HOME, Evans City.
Helen Markel Miller
Helen Markel Miller, 89, formerly of Zelienople, died Jan. 10, 2002, in Chattanooga, Tenn.
She was a member of the Calvin Presbyterian Church of Zelienople and a longtime member of the Zelienople Traveler’s Club and Zelienople Historical Society.
She is survived by a son, James L. Markel of Chattanooga; a stepson, Allen Miller of McClean, Va.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dr. Clark L Markel and James L. Miller, and a daughter.

Elizabeth S. Geis
Elizabeth S. Geis, 92, of Zelienople died Friday at Ellwood City Hospital.
Born June 13, 1910, in North Sewickley Township, she was the daughter of Charles and Laura Herrmann Young.
Mrs. Geis was a member of St. Peter’s Reformed Church in Zelienople, where she had been a member of the Every Ready Sunday School Class.
Surviving are two sons, Donald E. Geis of Potomac, Md., and Ralph E. Geis of Zelienople; two brothers, Charles Young of Darlington and Walter Young of North Sewickley Township; three grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Frank H. Geis, died June 17, 1998. A sister also preceded her in death.

Lloyd L. Getty
Lloyd L. Getty, 91, of Ekastown Road, Sarver, died Thursday at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Natrona Heights.
Born in Bagdad, Armstrong County, Jan. 1, 1911, he was the son of Constantine and Victorine Ferrari Getty.
Mr. Getty retired in 1976 as a railroad locomotive engineer for the Union Railroad in the Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania area for 40 years. He also was a constable in the Saxonburg area for years.
He was an avid golfer and until this past October had worked at Saxony Golf Course in Sarver. He also was a hunter and had made several trips to Alaska for big game.
He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot and a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council in Butler, where he had been a member of the Color Corps for ceremonial affairs.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Sandra) Mahan of Saxonburg; two sons, Keith C. and Tim Getty, both of Marysville, Wash.; a sister, Dena Poretti of Freeport; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
His first wife, Faye Rudert Getty, died in 1955; and his second wife, Ruth Niggel Getty, whom he married Aug. 3, 1957, died Aug. 23, 2001. He also was preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers.
GETTY - Friends of Lloyd L. Getty, who died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Cabot. The Rev. Michael Greb, O.F.M. Cap., will officiate. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
The St. Joseph Bereavement Ministry will conduct a parish vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Members of the Butler Council 866 Knights of Columbus will recite the rosary at 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Samuel Clicquennoi
Samuel Clicquennoi, 89, of 860 Dick Road, Renfrew, died at 9:58 a.m. Thursday at his home.
Born in Renfrew, Nov. 3, 1912, he was the son of Samuel Maurine and Laura Graham Clicquennoi.
He had been superintendent of the coil warehouse at Armco-Butler Works.
Mr. Clicquennoi was a member of the White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, where he had taught Sunday school.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred D. Clicquennoi, whom he married Sept. 27, 1941; a son, Samuel M. Clicquennoi of Butler; three daughters, Eleanor “Ellie” Lojek and Linda McCarren, both of Butler, and Gail Ann Clicquennoi at home; and six grandchildren.
A brother preceded him in death.
