Jean Louise Pfabe, age 94 of Butler, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, March 3, 2005 at 8:44 p.m. in the Sunnyview Home.
Born February 2, 1911 in Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late James Kelly Johnston and the late Kathryn Duffy.
Mrs. Pfabe was a homemaker. She enjoyed writing poetry and music, playing the piano and organ, and drawing in charcoal. In the 1950's she won a Pittsburgh song contest that resulted in publishing her songs "I Fell in Love with You" and "Thanks for the Dream". As an avid CB (Citizen Band) radio user, she was known as MaMa Frog to many of her CB friends. After graduating from high school, she was employed at the Butler Beauty School, the former Ladies Store, and Montgomery Ward stores located on Main Street in Butler.
Mrs. Pfabe is survived by two sons, Paul W. Pfabe of Butler, Pennsylvania, James C. Pfabe of Renfrew, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Mrs. Jean L. Wagner of Butler, Pennsylvania; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Pfabe was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Wesley Pfabe who passed away on September 5, 1981 by one daughter, Evelyn A. Pfabe Dellen and by two brothers.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Sunday, March 6, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, March 7, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend David West officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

William E. Heath
January 15, 1918 - March 3, 2005
William E. Heath, age 87 of Crisswell Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, March 3, 2005 at 7:25 a.m. in the Sunnyview Home.
Born January 15, 1918 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late William Henry Heath and the late May Rose Kummer.
Mr. Heath was a carpenter and cabinetmaker for Butler Area School District, retiring in 1983. He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII.
Mr. Heath is survived by his wife Jeane McCormack Heath whom he marriage on June 25, 1949, by two sons, William E. Heath, Jr. of Blandon, Pennsylvania, Laurence W. Heath of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Candace Heath Colliflower of Altadena, California; four Grandchildren, four Great Grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Heath of San Antonio, Texas, Eugene Heath of Jenkins, Missouri; four sisters, Mrs. Luella McCall of Brackenridge, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Pearl Gilboux of Butler, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Wilma Yingling of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania and Mrs. Lois Matthews of Kennerdell, Pennsylvania and by number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Heath was preceded in death by one daughter.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Monday, March 7, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Philip W. Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
Walter F. Ostrander
May 7, 1937 - March 2, 2005
Walter F. Ostrander, age 67 of Walker Road, Prospect, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at 11:42 p.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born May 7, 1937 in Baden, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Edward Ostrander and the late Cora Myrtle Hamilton Ostrander.
Mr. Ostrander was a sales representative for Wetsel Inc. based in Harrisonburg, Virginia with local offices in Kittanning, Pennsylvania for the past twenty-five years. He had previously been employed by Anchor Supply in Moon Township
He was a member of Victory Christian Fellowship Church in Cranberry Township.
Mr. Ostrander is survived by his wife, Helen Tomko Ostrander, whom he marriage on May 14, 1982, by two daughters, Mrs. Alan (Julie Ann) Auble of Rochester, New York, Mrs. Steve (Elizabeth Joann) Dobbins of Mooresboro, North Carolina; two step-daughters, Mrs. Barry (Cynthia Marie) Carson of Boyers, Pennsylvania, Christina Lynn Schmuck of Butler, Pennsylvania; by nine Grandchildren, five Great Grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Joseph (Phoebe) Christian of Baden, Pennsylvania; three brothers, Daniel Ostrander of Baden, Pennsylvania, James Ostrander of New Jersey, Robert Ostrander of Ambridge, Pennsylvania and by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ostrander was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Friday, March 4, 2005 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Steve Moore of Victory Christian Fellowship Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.

Martha B. Aufman, age 87 of North Main Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at 11:05 p.m. in Sunnyview Home.
Born January 19, 1918 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Joseph Bendot and the late Mary Duda.
Mrs. Aufman was a homemaker.
Mrs. Aufman is survived by one son, James Aufman of Botlton, Connecticut.
Mrs. Aufman was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Aufman who passed away on March 13, 2001.

David Joseph Dunkle

David Joseph Dunkle, age 51 of Bredin Avenue, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at 11:26 p.m. in the Sunnyview Home.
Born September 19, 1953 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Arnold Joseph Dunkle and Hannah Reed Dunkle.
Mr. Dunkle was formerly employed in maintenance and as a grounds keeper for Butler Days Inn. He was a Graduate of Butler High School and enjoyed sports.
Mr. Dunkle is survived by his mother, Hannah Dunkle of Butler, Pennsylvania and two brothers, Robert Dunkle of State College, Pennsylvania, and Richard Dunkle of Sarasota, Florida
Mr. Dunkle was preceded in death by his father.

William (Wil) Matthew Morrow
July 16, 1981 - April 28, 2005
William (Wil) Matthew Morrow, age 23 of Pollack Drive, Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, April 28, 2005 at 2:36 a.m. as a result of an automobile accident on Route 910 in Richland Township.
Born Thursday, July 16, 1981 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of Daniel G. Morrow and Susan J. Mould Morrow.
Wil was a cook for St. Barnabas Health Systems at the assisted living center. He was a member the First English Lutheran Church in Butler, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Butler High School and Butler Vocational Technical School in 1999. In 2002, he graduated from The Pittsburgh Culinary Academy. Wil bowled for many years and he was also active in golf, deck hockey and in several softball leagues. He was an avid fan of Penn State.
Wil is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel G. (Susan) Morrow; his sister, Laurie A. Morrow and her fiancé, John O'Rourke of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania; his brother, Dave A. Morrow of Butler, Pennsylvania; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell (Jean) Morrow of Butler, Pennsylvania; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Shirley Mould of Butler, Pennsylvania; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Wil was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Mould.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Sunday, May 1, 2005 from 7 to 9 and Monday, May 2, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Services will be held at the First English Lutheran Church on Tuesday May 3, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend James Dollhopf, pastor of his church, officiating. Interment will follow in North Side Cemetery.
