ANN M. TROTTA, of Butler, died at 5:50 AM Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Butler, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Prexta) Warhola.
A Homemaker, Mrs. Trotta had worked as a seamstress at the former Spaide Shirt facyory in Butler, in her younger years.
A member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora.
She was the widow of John M. Trotta. They were married June 19, 1939, and he died December 14, 2001. She was also preceded in death by 3 Brothers.
Surviving are:
1 Daughter: Judy Codi --- Butler
2 Sons: John L. Trotta -- Butler

James R. Trotta --- Pittsburgh
1 Brother: Nick Warhola -- Lyndora
2 Sisters: Mrs. Mary Zaliponi -- Butler

Mrs. Edward (Margaret) Hamlett -- Virginia
9 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
TROTTA Friends of ANN M. TROTTA, who died March 31, 2004, will be received at the GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 EAST CUNNINGHAM STREET, BUTLER from 7-9 PM Friday. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 3, 2004, at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 105 Kohler Avenue, Lyndora. The Rev. Dennis Bogda, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery , Butler.
Parastas services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. A Panachida service will be held at 9:15 AM Saturday, at the Funeral Home.

John M. Trotta Sr.
John M. Trotta Sr., 86, of Negley Avenue died Friday at Sunnyview Home in Butler.
Born Oct. 9, 1915, in Calabria, Italy, he was the son of Lawrence and Rose Greco Trotta.
Mr. Trotta was a cook for the Hot Dog Shoppe in Butler until he retired after 35 years.
Mr. Trotta was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Ann M. Trotta, whom he married June 19, 1939; a daughter, Judy Codi of Butler; two sons, John L. Trotta of Butler and James R. Trotta of Pittsburgh; 9 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Four brothers and a sister preceded Mr. Trotta in death.
TROTTA - Friends of John M. Trotta, who died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 210 E. Cunningham St., Butler. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Anne Coyne Holbach

Anne Coyne Holbach, 84, of Hopkinton, Mass,, died Wednesday at her home following an illness.

She had lived there for three years with her daughter, Mrs. Michael P. (Katherine) Roughan.

Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late U.S. Sen. and Mrs. James J. Coyne.

Mrs. Holbach is survived by five daughters; Katherine Roughan; Mrs. John (Margaret) McHugh; Mrs. Albert (Mary Grace) Remeikis; Anne Holbach and Mrs. Michael (Suzanne) Elias; four sons, John Holbach; James Holbach; Joseph Holbach and Timothy Holbach; two sisters, Eleanor Coyne Gallagher and Katherine P. Coyne and a brother, Thomas Coyne. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Joseph P. Holbach, died in 1991.

HOLBACH - A Mass of Christian Burial for Anne Coyne Holbach, who died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, was Saturday morning at the CHESMORE FUNERAL HOME, 57 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton, Mass. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel at Calvary Cemetery , 1004 N. Main St., Butler.

Virginia P. MacDonald

Virginia P. MacDonald, 89, of St. John Specialty Care Center, Mars, formerly of New Haven Court, died at 6:45 a.m. Friday at St. John Specialty Care Center.

Born June 27, 1912, in Lorain, Ohio, she was the daughter of Steven and Elizabeth Zabo Pandy.

Mrs. MacDonald had been a librarian for the Westminster Public Library, Westminster, Md., where she had also been a volunteer. She helped start the bookmobile for the library.

While in Westminster, she had sponsored many Hungarians coming to the United States during the Hungarian uprising of the early 1950s.

Mrs. MacDonald was a Protestant and enjoyed traveling the world.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Lorna) Seidler of Arden, N.C.; an adopted daughter, Klara Barbarosa of Fairfield, Conn.; a son, Bruce MacDonald of Slippery Rock; a brother, E.J. “Bud” Pandy of Lorain, Ohio; four grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Her husband, William Allan MacDonald, who died Feb. 27, 1998, two sisters, and a brother, preceded Mrs. MacDonald in death.

MacDONALD - Friends of Virginia P. MacDonald, who died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Meadow Branch Cemetery , Westminster, Md.

Lois Morman

Lois Morman, 83, of HCR ManorCare in Whitehall, Pittsburgh, died Friday.

Born July 20, 1918, in Evans City, she was the daughter of George E. and Nellie J. Beers Cashdollar.

Mrs. Morman is survived y her husband, Lester Morman of Baldwin; two daughters, Jean Lindberg and Monique Gillen; a son, George H. Dailey; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.

MORMAN - There will be no public visitation for Lois Morman, who died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 26 at Baldwin United Presbyterian Church with Dr. James K. Smith, Sr., officiating.

Burial will be in Old Union Church Cemetery , Evans City.

Ferdinand P. Mason

Ferdinand P. Mason, 88, of Zelienople, died Thursday at St. Francis Hospital North, Cranberry Township.

Mr. Mason was born Aug. 6, 1913, in Pittsburgh.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Mansfeld Mason, whom he married June 1986; two daughters, Jane Drozda of Franklin Township and Mary Ann Peterson of Point Breeze; two sons, Joseph Mason of Marshall Township and James Mason of Pittsburgh, and two step-daughters, Nancy Joyce of Vandergrift and Susan Lefcowitz of Scranton. Also surviving are four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

There will be no public visitation and services will be announced later.

Arrangements are being handled by BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, Zelienople.

Josephine Soltesz

Josephine Soltesz, 73, of Zelienople died Friday in Pittsburgh.

Born June 11, 1928, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary Porto.

Mrs. Soltesz was a member of St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, Zelienople.

She is survived by four daughters, Lorraine Hirsch and Mrs. Charles (Kathryn) Walter, both of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Richard (Donna) Sorensen of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Tracy Soltesz of Pikesville, Ky., and a granddaughter.

Mrs. Soltesz was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Soltesz, who died July 25, 1997, and a son.

SOLTESZ - Friends of Josephine Soltesz, who died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, will be received form 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME, 219 Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, Zelienople, with Father Charles B. Bergman, church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at St. Gregory Cemetery , Zelienople.

Memorial donations may be made to The Make-a-Wish Foundation, 555 Grant St., Suite 425, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.

Pearl Watts

Pearl Watts, 92, of Sherwood Oaks, Cranberry Township, formerly of Highland Pines Court, McCandless Township, died Friday morning at Sherwood Oaks following an illness.

Born Jan. 23, 1909, in Clearfield County, she was the daughter of Martin and Lillian Waring Watts.

She had been a grade school teacher for the Pine, Adams and Cranberry township elementary schools. She had also been the editor of The Weekly Reader of the American Educational Press.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

WATTS - Friends of Pearl Watts, who died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at McDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave, Mars. Services will be at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Cope, pastor of the Mars Alliance Church, officiating. Burial will be at Watts Cemetery , Clearfield County.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1323 Forbes Ave. Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15219-4725.

Richard L. Enslen

Richard L. Enslen, 76, of 227 E. Rockenstein Ave. died at 1:35 a.m. today at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center after an illness.

Born in Evans City, Dec. 15, 1925, he was the son of Jesse and Catherine Burr Enslen.

He retired as a warehouseman at Mine Safety in Evans City after 29 years.

Mr. Enslen was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 0219, both in Evans City.

He was a World War II Navy veteran and served in Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Saipan and the Philippines.

Surviving are his wife, Sylvia Giuntoli Enslen, to whom he was married for 35 years; a son, Christopher L. Enslen of Midlothian, Va.; two brothers, Daniel Enslen of Evans City and Wilbert Enslen of Renfrew; four sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Jane) Rush, Mrs. Floyd (Gertrude) McKinnis and Ms. Catherine Jean Enslen, all of Evans City, and Mrs. Paul (Toot) Critchlow of Renfrew; a granddaughter; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

ENSLEN - Friends of Richard L. Enslen, who died Monday, Dec. 17, 2001, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 429 Center Ave. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kenneth Thompson, his church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at St. Michael Cemetery , Butler.
