Robert Wayne Berry, Sr., age 75 Wattersonville Road, Cowansville, Pennsylvania, died Monday, March 17, 2008 at 9:50 a.m. in the Armstrong County Hospital.
Born February 10, 1933 in Mars, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Howard Berry and the late Marie Berry.
Mr. Berry was retired as a millwright for U.S. Steel. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, was an avid hunter, and enjoyed boating and traveling.
Mr. Berry is survived by five sons, Stan Mills of Butler, Ed Mills of Butler, Pat Mills of Butler, Jock Mills, Robert W. Fay-Berry both of Wattersonville, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Sarajane Mills Elder of Butler, Pennsylvania, Cindy Berry Anderson of Kingston, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Berry was preceded in death by his wife Sarajane "Sally" Mills Berry, she preceded him in death on August 27, 2005. In addition to his wife Mr. Berry was also preceded in death by a grandson Christopher.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in Mount Royal Cemetery.
Raymond J. Jones
November 11, 1947 - March 16, 2008
Raymond J. Jones, age 60 of Meadows Manor, Freeport Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 4:50 p.m. at the Meadows Manor.
Born November 11, 1947 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Milton W. Jones and the late LaJune Sharp Jones.
Mr. Jones was a disabled Army veteran due to the Vietnam War.
Mr. Jones is survived by four sisters, Carol and Richard Welter of Butler, Pennsylvania, Joyce and David Hartwick of Kingsberry, Texas, Laura Jones of Butler, Pennsylvania, Sandra Fisher of Butler, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Gary and Loretta Jones of Butler, Pennsylvania, David and Deborah Jones of Palm City, Florida; one aunt, Dello Jones of Butler, Pennsylvania; and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania 16001.

Joseph Frank Brozda, age 83 of South Trenton Avenue, Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 1:15a.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born on February 15, 1925 in Horni Lomna, Czech Republic he was the son of the late George Brozda and the late Jana (Joanne) Jopkova
Mr. Brozda was a member of St. James Church in Pittsburgh. He was a retired union master carpenter and cabinetmaker and a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local # 165.
Mr. Brozda is survived by three sons, Joseph and Bridget Brozda, John and Donna Brozda, Paul Brozda; five daughters, Elizabeth Alexander, Mary Ann and Mac Grant, Joanne and Richard Pugliese, Theresa and Enrico Clendenning, Louise and Jim Pyles; eighteen grandchildren, Nichoele Hall, Rachelle Brozda, Aimee Davis, Sarah Brozda, Adam Brozda, Stephanie Brozda, Christopher Alexander, Joseph Fazio, Blaine Fazio, Christa Holt, Suzanna Pugliese, Nathaniel Pugliese, Johanna Clendenning, Christian Clendenning, Grace Clendenning, Erika Clendenning, Morgan Pyles, James Pyles; four great-grandchildren, Bredin Fazio, Meykah Hall, Niyah Hall, Eli Davis; by one sister Louise and her husband Ludvik Gomola, one brother Paul and his wife Anna Brozdova and one sister -n-law Marie Brozdova and by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Brozda was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Jane Brozda whom he marriage on May 22, 1954, and who passed away on October 29, 2007. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his stepmother Janina Szkanderova, three sisters and three brothers.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with the Very Reverend Harry R. Bielewicz, pastor of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow in North Side Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations should be made to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean Street, Butler, Pennsylvania 16001.
Members of St. Paul guild and Christian mothers will recite the rosary at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Paul D. Critchlow, age 75 of Eastwood Village, Butler, PA, died Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 12:37 A.M. in the Butler Memorial Hospital. .
Born Tuesday, August 16, 1932 in New Castle, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Harold William Critchlow and the late Fae Phillips Critchlow.
Mr. Critchlow was an Insurance Agent for Western Southern Life Insurance Company. He retired in 1976.
Mr. Critchlow is survived by his former wife, Diane Stepp Critchlow, by three sons, Paul Critchlow, Jr. and his wife Lisa, Douglas Critchlow both of Butler, Pennsylvania, Keith Critchlow and his wife Amy of New Galilee, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Mrs. Peter (Cynthia) Montgomery of Pasadena, California; twelve grandchildren, two sisters, Ruth Shaffer of New Castle, Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Dane (Myrtis) Kornrumpf of Highland, California and by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Critchlow was preceded in death by two brothers Harold and James.

Louis R. Hilderhoff, age 88 of Butler, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 9:50 a.m. at his home
Born January 6, 1920 in Etna, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Louis Hilderhoff and the late Edna Philips Hilderhoff.
Mr. Hilderhoff was a truck driver for Haser Trucking Co. in Millvale, Pennsylvania, retiring in 1983. He was a veteran of The United States Army serving during World War II.
Mr. Hilderhoff is survived by his wife Donna M. Jones Hilderhoff and by two daughters, Mrs. Ron (Beverly) Klinefelter of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Dan (Lynette) Hartmann of Butler, Pennsylvania; two grandsons, Ron Jr., and Jeffrey; three grand-daughters, Gwen, Becky, Kim; one great-granddaughter, Julia; and one great-grandson, Andrew; one sister, Mrs. Anna Wardle of Ross Township, Pennsylvania; and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hilderhoff was preceded in death by two sons, one sister, and one brother.

A Blessing Services will be held at the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.

Susan Shedio, age 97 of Sunnyview Home, Butler, Pennsylvania, formerly of Kohler Avenue died Friday, March 14, 2008 at 3:40 p.m. in the Sunnyview Home.
Born March 10, 1911 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Michael Shedio and the late Anna Singliar.
Miss Shedio worked for the Spaide Shirt Factory. She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Miss Shedio was an excellent cook and loved music and crafts.
Miss Shedio is survived by her three sisters, Helen Varhola of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Irene Shedio and Zella Shedio both of Butler, Pennsylvania; and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Miss Shedio was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 from 1 to 2 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Thomas C. Pesci, Susan's nephew officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
