Martha Lucille Smail McDaniel McBride, age 88 of Vista Royal Assisted Living Center at Chicora Medical Center Chicora, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born February 28, 1917 in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Abraham Smail and the late Savilla Bell Woodside Smail.
Mrs. McBride was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Mrs. McBride worked in the Butler Memorial Hospital Hostess Shop for two years and for Doctors Carl Danielson and Carl Dudeck for five and a half years.
Mrs. McBride is survived by three daughters, Mrs. James C. (Doris) Rooks of Butler, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Glen D. (Donna) Gold of Butler, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Robert W. (Dolly) Rumbaugh of Chicora, Pennsylvania, three grandsons and seven great-grandchildren, one sister, Esther McLafferty of Butler, Pennsylvania, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. McBride was preceded in death by her husband, William Raymond McDaniel on April 12, 1951, and by her second husband, Kenneth R. McBride who passed away on September 1, 2003, by two sons, William G. McDaniel and David Lee McDaniel and by one sister and two brothers.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Thursday, May 5, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, May 6, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Thomas M. Pierotti officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

Charles W. Jamison
August 19, 1915 - May 2, 2005
Charles W. Jamison, age 89 of Farm Lane, West Sunbury, Pennsylvania, formerly of North Duffy Road, Butler, died Monday, May 2, 2005 at 2:05 a.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born August 19, 1915 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late John Jamison and the late Florence Watters.
Mr. Jamison was a turn foreman, Plant 2 for Armco Steel retiring in 1977 following 40 years of service. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church and has been attending First Baptist Church. Mr. Jamison belonged to the Armco Management Club, Victory Lodge #694 F. and A.M., A.A.S.R. Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of New Castle, Life member of the V.F.W., the Fraternal order of Police, and the American Legion of Butler.
Mr. Jamison is survived by his wife, Beatrice Marian Schlagel Jamison whom he marriage on August 19, 2004, by one daughter, Patricia Marie Smith of Grove City, Pennsylvania; two grandsons, Joel and Greg Smith; one great-grandson, Xander Smith; seven step children, twenty-two step grandchildren, and by many step great grandchildren.
Mr. Jamison was preceded in death by his first wife, Olive Marie Thorn Jamison who passed away in September of 1975, by his second wife, Dorothy Virginia Jamison who passed away on June 1, 2000, by an infant son, one brother and four sisters.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the First English Lutheran Church on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend James Dollhopf officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

Dorothy M. Chandler
September 15, 1913 - June 27, 2005
Dorothy M. Chandler, age 91, formerly of New Castle St. Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2005 at 6:20 a.m. in the Sunnyview Nursing Home.
Born in Foxburg, Pennsylvania on September 15, 1913, she was the daughter of the late George B. Edinger and Alice Tonks Edinger.
Mrs. Chandler had been employed in many local grocery stores, Griffins, Loblaws and the Cutaway Grocery and meat market in their meat departments, and had also at one time owned and operated her own store. Mrs. Chandler was a former member of the First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Chandler is survived by one son, William J. List of Helmet. California, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and one brother, James C. Edinger with whom she lived.
Mrs. Chandler was preceded in death by her husband, Austin Chandler, and by two brothers.

Valerie Jean Falling
May 12, 1964 - June 25, 2005
Valerie Jean Falling, age 41 of North Road, Butler, Pennsylvania made her heavenly departure on Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 9:12 p.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born May 12, 1964 in Santa Ana, California, she was the daughter of Robert Barnes and Carolyn Holder Barnes.
As in Philippians 4:13 she lived strong each day. She was a loving daughter, a devoted wife and mother, a true friend, a devoted and encouraging leader and teacher. She influenced and molded lives through her music, teaching and nursing. She will be remembered for her warm gracious personality, her encouragement to others, her smile and laughter. We love and miss you.
Valerie was a nurse at Butler Memorial Hospital, she was also an instructor at the Butler Community College in its nursing program and she also worked as a triage nurse for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She was a member of North Main Street Church of God where her husband is the pastor of their music program.
She is survived by her husband; Reverend Timothy Falling whom she marriage on December 27, 1981. Two sons, Joshua Sjon Falling and Jordan Ryan Falling both at home, her parents, Robert and Carolyn Barnes of Fort Worth, Texas, one brother, David Barnes of Austin, Texas, her maternal grandparents, John and Hazel Holder of Forth Worth, Texas, her father and mother-in-law, Leroy and Lucille Falling of Anderson, Indiana, brother and sister-in-laws, Sid and Gayle Falling of Gurley, Alabama, Stanton and Carol Falling of Wiesbaden, Germany, Loren and Sali Malm of Anderson, Indiana, nine nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one niece.

Anthony J. "Tony" Treme`, Sr.
June 9, 1944 - June 18, 2005
Anthony J. "Tony" Treme`, Sr., age 61 of Garden Grove Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, June 18, 2005.
Born June 9, 1944 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Hubert J. Treme` and the late Armida DeSantis Raible.
Mr. Treme` was a Pennsylvania Correction Officer for Western Penitentiary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, retiring in September of 2002 after 25 years of service. He was a member of Community Alliance Church. Mr. Treme` was a life member of the V.F.W., Michael Kosar Post #778 of Lyndora American Legion, American Legion Post 117 Butler, Pennsylvania, Loyal Order of Moose #64 (L.O.O.M.), Slovak Sokal Society, Lyndora, Pennsylvania, Butler County American Legion Riders. Mr. Treme` was also a Vietnam veteran.
Mr. Treme` is survived by his wife, Kathleen S. Treme` whom he marriage on October 18, 1997, by two sons, Anthony J. Treme`, Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Daniel P. Treme` of Zelienople, Pennsylvania; three daughters, Karen M. Spinneweber of Butler, Pennsylvania, Kimberly D. Kramer of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Jerry R. (Kellie) Donahue; his step-father, Frank Raible of Butler, Pennsylvania; a sister, Helen DeRubeis of Butler, Pennsylvania; a brother, Bill Plaisted of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, three nieces, two great-nephews and one great-niece.

W. Allen "Al" Ramsey
April 24, 1917 - June 16, 2005
W. Allen "Al" Ramsey, age 88 of Dardenelle Court, The Woodlands, Texas, formerly of Mercer Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 11:10 a.m. in the Bay Medical Center, Panama City, Florida, while on vacation with his family.
Born April 24, 1917 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Elzie Ramsey and the late Ruth Wilson.
Mr. Ramsey was an owner and operator for Ramsey Dairy Farm that was establish by his family in 1917. Mr. Ramsey also sold insurance later in his life. He was a member of St. Andrew's United Presbyterian Church. He was a former elder in his church. Mr. Ramsey was a former member of the Butler Rotary Club and also a Paul Harris Fellow. He was a former member of the Federal Landbank, former president of the Pennsylvania Farmers Association and former director of the Butler Farm Show. Mr. Ramsey was a member of the Production Association and a member of the Toastmasters Club. He enjoyed flying and being a Ham Radio operator.
Mr. Ramsey is survived by his wife, Irene Meyer Ramsey, who he marriage June 23, 1942, a daughter, Donna Dunn of Atlanta, Georgia; two sons, Robert Ramsey of Scottsdale, Arizona and William Ramsey of The Woodlands, Texas; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ramsey was preceded in death by two brothers.
