Dorothy J. "Skip" Weaver, 59, of 207 Bennett Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 2:00 a.m. at St. John's Specialty Care Center in Mars, Pennsylvania.
Born January 24, 1946 in Butler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Earl and Mary McCall Stamm.
Ms. Weaver retired from K-Mart store in 2004 after serving 25 years as a pharmacy assistant. She was an alumnus of Slippery Rock Area High School in 1964. She enjoyed dirt track racing, NASCAR, sewing, making crafts and attending barbershop quartet concerts. .
Ms. Weaver is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl (Mary) Stamm of Butler, Pennsylvania; one son, Donald R. Weaver, Jr. of Butler, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Mrs. Brian (Denise) Brest of New Castle, Pennsylvania and Ms. Darla Weaver of Butler, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Derreck Brest and Bailey Weaver; two brothers, Leroy Stamm of Butler, Pennsylvania and William Stamm of Boyers, Pennsylvania; three nieces and two nephews.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Friday, August 5, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, August 6, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend David Maitland, of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
Garnet W. Hutchison
December 8, 1929 - August 3, 2005
Garnet Wilson Hutchison, age 75 of Van Mar Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at 7:30 a.m. at her residence.
Born December 8, 1929 in Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late James Harlan Wilson and the late Martha Isabel Wilson.
Mrs. Hutchison was a secretary for Trinity Presbyterian Church, before that she also worked at Kirkpatrick Sporting Goods store in the clothing department. She also performed secretarial and payroll duties. She was a member of St. John's Reformed Church. After retirement she volunteered at the VA Hospital.
Mrs. Hutchison is survived by one son, D. James Hutchison of Butler, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Kathy) McClaine of Butler, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Timothy (Mary Ann) Miller of New Port Richey, Florida; two grandchildren, one great-grandson, two sisters, Eula Mae Myers of Waterloo, Ontario, Lois Bradley of Hesperia, California; one brother, George Harlan Wilson of Singapore and also by a number of nieces and nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Hutchison was preceded in death by her husband, Donald P. Hutchison who passed away on December 28, 2004, by an infant son, and one brother.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Friday, August 5, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, August 6, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Robert C. Peterson officiating. Interment will follow in North Side Cemetery.
John F. Ihlenfeld
January 10, 1952 - September 27, 2005
John F. "Johnny I." Ihlenfeld, age 53 of Home Avenue, Butler, Pennsylvania, died suddenly Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at 12:30 a.m. at his residence.
Born January 10, 1952 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late John V. Ihlenfeld and the late Dorothy E. Rice Ihlenfeld.
Mr. Ihlenfeld was a retired grinder for AK Steel. He was a member of Church of the Nazarene, Butler, Pennsylvania. Mr. Ihlenfeld was a member of the American Legion Post #778, he attended Butler High School and the Lincoln Welding School.
Mr. Ihlenfeld is survived by his wife, Kandice (Keown) Ihlenfeld whom he marriage on July 31, 1971, by one daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Heather) Osmer of Bloomville, Ohio; one son, John V. Ihlenfeld of Butler, Pennsylvania; one grandson; one sister, Sara Jane Reisinger of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania; three brothers, Joe Ihlenfeld, Judd Ihlenfeld, and Herbert Schmeider all of Butler, Pennsylvania.

Helen E. Snyder
July 4, 1907 - September 26, 2005
Helen Elizabeth Snyder, age 98 of formerly of Eberhart Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Monday morning, September 26, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. in Concordia Lutheran Care.
Born July 4, 1907 in Oakland Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Charles J. Hoffman and the late Catherine E. Pfaff.
Mrs. Snyder was a member of the former Calvary Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Butler. Mrs. Snyder was a 1927 graduate of Butler Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and had worked as a private duty nurse. She was a member of the Woman's Club of Butler, Chapter #45 Order of the Eastern Star, and Butler Memorial Hospital Nurses Alumni Association.
Mrs. Snyder is survived by her daughter-in-law, Loretta Kidd Donaldson of Butler, Pennsylvania; two grandsons, Kenneth Scott Snyder and his wife Amy of Annandale, Virginia, Timothy Patrick Snyder and his wife Diane of Titusville, Pennsylvania; Three great-grandchildren, Brandon and Kayley Snyder of Annandale, Virginia and Benjamin Snyder of Titusville, Pennsylvania
Mrs. Snyder was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond B. Snyder, Sr. who passed away on October 28, 1991 and who she marriage on July 12, 1937, by her son Raymond B. Snyder, Jr. who died on December 19, 1985, a sister Josephine Hoffman and three brothers Carl, Floyd and Ralph Hoffman.

David V. Wise
May 13, 1931 - September 22, 2005
David V. Wise of Butler, the founder and former president of Wise Business Forms, died Thursday, September 22, 2005.
He was 74 years old. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vernon L. Wise, Sr. of Butler
Wise is survived by his wife, Karen Patterson Wise, who he marriage on September 6, 1986.
Wise bought the Eagle Printery in 1965 and started Wise Business Forms in Butler in 1969 after working at Harmony Drilling Co., Anderson Gas Co. and Hardwood Corp.
For many years, Wise was treasurer of the Eagle Printing Co., which published the Butler Eagle.
Wise graduated from Allegheny College in 1953 with a degree in economics and he continued to be a vital part of the school's development.
He served in the U.S. Army in Europe from 1953 to 1955.
He was a member of the Nixon United Methodist Church and the Glade Run United Presbyterian Church. He also was a member of the Butler Country Club and the Der Sitzmark Ski Club.
He is also survived by his brother, Vernon L. Wise, Jr. of Butler, and his sister, Virginia Wise Prettyman of Atlanta, Georgia. Wise is survived by his two nieces, Jamie Wise Lanier and Mary Lou McIllwraith of Cincinnati, Ohio, and three nephews, Vernon L. Wise, III of Butler, and William and Jeffrey Prettyman, both of Atlanta, Georgia; in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Patterson of Butler, and a brother-in-law, Alan C. Patterson of Pittsburgh.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 24, 2005 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, September 25, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Glade Run United Presbyterian Church on Monday, September 26, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Chris Marshall and the Reverend Greg Weist officiating. Burial will be at the North Side Cemetery.
William T. Dunn
March 17, 1936 - September 21, 2005
William T. Dunn, age 69 of Lumar Village, Butler Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at his residence.
Born in Grove City, Pennsylvania on March 17, 1936, he was the son of the late William A. Dunn and Frances Lucille Christy.
Mr. Dunn was the former owner and operator of Dunn's Travel Agency in Butler. He was a veteran of the United States Marines serving during the Korean War both in the United States and Japan. He was a member of the Michael Kosar Post # 778 of the American Legion in Lyndora, the B.P.O.E. Butler Elks Lodge #170, and the Loyal Order of the Moose # 64. Mr. Dunn was also a former member of the Butler Rotary Club.
He marriage his wife Allean Carol Wherry on June 14, 1958; she preceded him in death on April 5, 1988.
He is survived by one son, Michael J. Dunn and his wife Allison of Leander, Texas, one daughter, Cynthia Dunn Arner and her husband Matthew of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, three grandchildren Austin, Cooper, and India, one brother, Richard Dunn and his wife June of Grove City, Pennsylvania, two sisters, Mrs. Patricia Riddle of Gainesville, Florida and Gloria Scheiner and her husband Wayne of St. Augustine, Florida, his mother in-law, Mrs. Marion Wherry of Grove City, Pennsylvania, and also by a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends and family of William T. Dunn will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania 16001 on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Funeral services will follow from the funeral home at 11:30 A.M. Internment will follow in The Butler County Memorial Park.
