Nancy Kathleen Hutchison, age 84 of Weckerly Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Friday, October 7, 2005 at 5:27 p.m. in the Lowrie House.
Born April 28, 1921 in Jefferson Township, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Orrie J. Caldwell and the late Temoy Taylor.
Mrs. Hutchison was a homemaker. She was a member of Summit United Presbyterian Church. She was also a former deacon of her church, she sang in the church choir and was a Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Hutchison was a member of the Maqueda Chapter #421 OES, America Legion Auxiliary of Saxonburg, AARP, she was a charter member of the Buco trailer club. Mrs. Hutchison enjoyed camping, traveling, and planting flowers in her garden. She was also a volunteer at the V.A. Medical center in Butler for many years.
Mrs. Hutchison is survived by one son, Larry Paul Hutchison of Las Vegas, Nevada; two daughters, Sandra (Sandy) Smith of Butler, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Timothy (Sheri) Amerson of Butler, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hutchison was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. (Hutch) Hutchison, by one daughter, two sisters, and three brothers. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jonathan Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Summit Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Rose Ann Jackman
March 24, 1942 - October 7, 2005
Rose Ann Jackman, age 63, of South Woodland Circle, Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, died Friday, October 7, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. at her residence.
Born March 24, 1942 in Butler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Robert and Annabele Shannon McGinley.
Mrs. Jackman was a teacher and librarian at the Penn Township Elementary School. She served as a substitute teacher and home base tutor for The West Butler School District. She also taught for Lutheran Youth and Family Services.
She was a member of White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, where she had served as a deacon and elder and also as a Sunday school teacher.
Mrs. Jackman is survived by her husband, Donald Jackman, whom she marriage July 29, 1971; her son, Michael Riesmeyer and his wife, Mary, of Butler, Pennsylvania; her daughter, Teresa Riesmeyer of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren, Angela, Jackie, Robbie, Michelle, Carter, Mason and Molly; her brother, Robert McGinley and his wife, Linda, of Renfrew, Pennsylvania; and by her two nieces, Molly Hilliard and Missy Troyan.
Mrs. Jackman was preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred Riesmeyer who was deceased November 20, 1968.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Sunday, October 9, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Funeral Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, October 10, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Lee Dryer, pastor of her church, officiating. Interment will follow in Evans City Cemetery.

Janet L. Sketchley
January 5, 1925 - October 3, 2005
Janet Lyon Sketchley, age 80 of Charlottesville, Virginia, died Monday, October 3, 2005 in a local care facility.
Born January 5, 1925 in Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Samuel Lyon and the late Nancy Murphy Lyon.
Mrs. Sketchley retired from the University of Virginia after many years of employment in the Alderman Library and the Athletic Department.
Mrs. Sketchley is survived by one daughter, Anne Robertson and her husband Thomas of Richmond, Virginia; a son, R. G. Sketchley and his wife Jane of Falls Church, Virginia; three grandchildren, Anne-Taylor, Elizabeth, and David; a sister, Helen Kearney of Atlanta, Georgia and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Sketchley was preceded in death by two sisters, Clara Mikesell and Dorothy Palm and two brothers, James and John Lyon.
The family will receive friends in Charlottesville from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Hill and Wood Funeral Home.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, October 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in North Side Cemetery.

Norman E. Tinker
December 29, 1921 - October 2, 2005
Norman E. Tinker, age 83 of East Fulton Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, October 2, 2005 at 2:40 p.m. at his residence.
Born December 29, 1921 in Silinas, Kansas he was the son of the late Eugene Tinker and the late Mildred Brown.
Mr. Tinker was a CLU special agent for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church of America. He was an euphonium player and an avid amateur musician. Mr. Tinker was a member of the Allegheny Brass Band, Harrisville Community Band, Salvation Army Community Band of the South, and the Northwestern Alumni Band. Mr. Tinker attended Northwestern University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in speech.
Mr. Tinker is survived by his wife, Gean D. Tinker and whom he marriage on September 5, 1953; one son, Paul D. Tinker of Shreveport, Louisiana; and by one daughter, Elizabeth G. Watson of El Paso, Texas.
Mr. Tinker was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Dries, Old Orchard Beach, Maine officiating. Interment will follow in Summit United Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Florence E. Heck Gold
June 11, 1912 - November 30, 2005
Florence E. Heck Gold, age 93 of North Main Street Ext., Butler, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 10:45 a.m. in St. John's Specialty Care Center.
Born June 11, 1912 in Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Charles J. Heck and the late M. Francis Calhoun Heck.
Miss Gold was a legal secretary for the Petroleum Industry. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of Butler High School and attended Carnegie Mellon University.
Miss Gold is survived by two niece, Margaret V. Campbell of Butler, Pennsylvania, with whom she made her home, Nancy L. Schleichel of Deltona, Florida; and one nephew, Charles Heck, Jr. of Greenville, Pennsylvania.
Miss Gold was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
There will be no public visitation or services. Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania. Interment will follow in North Side Cemetery.
The family request memorial donations are made to the Butler County Association for the Blind, 322 North McKean Street, Butler, Pennsylvania 16001.
Luchion M. "Joe" Cemate
October 24, 1919 - November 27, 2005
Luchion M. "Joe" Cemate, age 86, of Villa Drive, Butler, Pennsylania, died Sunday, November 27, 2005 at 2:31 a.m. in the United Community Hospital, Grove City, Pennsylvania.
Born October 24, 1919 in Ganister, Pennsylvania, he was the son of John and Louise Ferrante Cemate.
He was a graduate of Williamsburg High School in Blair County, where he played football.
Mr. Cemate was a retired electrician and had worked for US Steel at its Michigan Limestone Plant in Boyers and at its National Tube plant in Ellwood City for a total of 37 years. He then worked at National Underground Storage in Boyers for 10 years.
He attended the Community Alliance Church.
He was an avid baseball player and played shortstop for the Boyers and Hilliards baseball teams in the Butler County Baseball League. He enjoyed his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, hunting and fishing.
Mr. Cemate is survived by his wife, Edna M. Turk Cemate, whom he marriage August 3, 1946; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Carol E.) Walker of Fenelton, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Rodrichard Walker and his wife, Diane, Shelly Miller and her husband, Daniel, and Scott Walter and his wife, Angel; and three great grandchildren, Colin, Reese and Gavin. He is also survived by three brothers, Otto Cemate of Livonia, Michigan, Sam Cemate and his wife, Lorraine, of Lincoln Park, Michigan, Robert Cemate and his wife, Joan, of Canton, Massachusetts; two sisters, Mrs. Philip (Jennie) Buccini of Grove City, Pennsylvania and Mrs. Rose Middendorf of Lincoln Park, Michigan and numerous nieces and nephews.
Three brothers, Jack Cemate, Dominick Cemate and an infant, preceded Mr. Cemate in death.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
