Parmina "Parm" Drigel, age 84 of South Trail, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, April 23, 2006 at 11:26 P.M. in the Good Samaritan Hospice House.
Born February 14, 1922 in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Louis Sepe and Angelina Esposito Sepe.
Mrs. Drigel was a homemaker and also was employed at Penn Township Elementary School as a cafeteria cook, she retired in 1983.
She was marriage to Stephen "Rudy" Drigel on January 28, 1945. He preceded her in death on October 6, 1982.
Mrs. Drigel is survived by, one son, Gary Drigel and his wife Lynn of Middletown, Ohio; two grandchildren, Douglas S. Drigel, Debra L. Drigel Thornton and her husband Mark; two great-grandchildren, Jessica Thornton, Holly Thornton; and number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Drigel was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. with Reverend Dennis Krajacic of the Community Alliance Church officiating. A service of committal will be held at 2:15 p.m. in the Chapel at Monongahela Cemetery followed by interment.

Eugene V. McElhatten
September 1, 1912 - April 21, 2006
Eugene V. McElhatten, age 93 of Villa Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Friday, April 21, 2006 at 4:56 a.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania on September 1, 1912 he was the son of the late Chauncey McElhatten and Mary Pashley McElhatten.
Mr. McElhatten worked for the Civil Conservation Corps, which was a division of the Forest Service. After leaving the Forest Service he began working at Pullman Standard and then entered the United States Army Serving in the Pacific during World War II. After his discharge from the service he returned to Pullman Standard where he retired as a machinist after thirty-four years of service. He was a member of Community Alliance Church where he served as a Sunday school teacher for over twenty years. He also served as a deacon and an usher. Mr. McElhatten enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
Mr. McElhatten is survived by his wife, Marie A. Michael McElhatten, whom he marriage on October 23, 1946, by two sons, James McElhatten of Shermansdale, Pennsylvania and David McElhatten of Clearwater, Florida, one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Colleen) Trulick of Butler, Pennsylvania, five grandchildren, one great granddaughter and by a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. McElhatten was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Funeral services will be from the funeral home on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Dennis Krajacic of the Community Alliance Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Butler County Memorial Park.
Owen Anderson
October 6, 1915 - August 2, 2003
Owen E. (Pete) Anderson, 87 of Butler, died Saturday, August 2, 2003 in Butler V A Medical Center.
Born October 6, 1915 in Kaylor, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Edgar O. Anderson and Edith Bartley.
He was a Crane Operator in the Hot Mill at Armco Steel. He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mr. Anderson was a Veteran of the U. S. Navy and WW II. He served his term of duty in the South Pacific on the USS Ardent. He was a charter member of the Mercer Road Fire Company, former scout master of troop 27 and was co-owner with his wife of Anderson's Ceramics, Hansen Avenue.
Surviving are his wife, Alma L. (Karnes) Gannon Anderson whom he marriage March 21, 1984, a daughter, Sandra Christofano and her husband Carl, Step-Daughter, Judy Scott-Rhodaberger and her husband Kenneth, Step-Son, Grahel V. Gannon, all of Butler, Pennsylvania, Four Grandchildren, Terri J., Philip, Michael and John Christofano, Five Step-Grandchildren, Shanda Neff, Laural and Rachel Gannon, Quentin Scott and Kristopher Rhodaberger, Three Great-Grandchildren, Alexandra Jockmann, Michael and Nicole Christofano, Two Step Great-Grandchildren, Sarah Archer and Zacharri Rennick, Brother, James Anderson of Arizona, and Number of Nieces and Nephews.
Preceding him in death was his first wife Olive E. (Daubenspeck) Anderson on January 10, 1978, three sisters and three brothers.
Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA, on Tuesday, August 5, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., on Tuesday, August 5, 2003 at 8:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

Esther A. Holt, age 85 of formerly of Wagner Avenue died Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at 10:40 p.m. in Dibbles Personal Caring.
Born June 12, 1920 in Meridian, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Leonard Schlagel and the late Rosie Hogg.
Mrs. Holt was a homemaker. She was a member of New Testament Baptist Church. Mrs. Holt was a member of the YWCA and the Dames of Malta. She had been active in her church and was an avid bowler.
Mrs. Holt is survived by her son, John C. Holt; two step-sons, Ronald Holt, Paul Holt all of Butler, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren; four sisters, Eleanor Kienzle of Butler, Pennsylvania, Clara Raiburn of Arlington, Texas, Irene Trufley of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, and Mary Lou Christie of Petrolia, Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Holt who passed away on July 1, 1982 and also by a grandson, three brothers and two sisters.

Willis G. Miller
March 2, 1924 - April 12, 2006
Willis G. Miller Age 82 of Alameda Road Butler, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 1:45 p.m. at his home.
Born in Meridian, Pennsylvania on March 2, 1924 he was the son of the late Clyde O. Miller and Edith Downing Miller.
Mr. Miller retired in 1983 as a Construction Supervisor for United Telephone company. He was a member of Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, he served in the United States Army during World War II in the European Theater and was the recipient of three bronze stars. He was active with the Meridian Little League and the Meridian Fife and Drum Corp as drum manager. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and also liked to bowl and play golf.
He is survived by his wife Nancy E. Sampsel Miller, whom he marriage on October 8, 1976, by two sons W. George Miller of Cape Coral, Florida and Dennis Miller of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, one daughter Dyanne Nicklas of Concord, North Carolina, seven grandchildren, six step grandchildren, two great- grandchildren, three step- daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Wanda J.) Sampson of Panama City, Florida Mrs. Ritchie (Barbara K.) Packard and Mrs. Michael (Diana L.) Walker both of Butler, Pennsylvania, three sisters, Mrs. Clara Mae List, Mrs. Thelma Menchyk, and Mrs. Mary Lou Stockard all of Meridian, Pennsylvania, and by a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers

Rose Glyndora Davis, age 83 of Wintergreen Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 3:20 p.m. in the Allegheny General Hospital.
Born May 24, 1922 in DuBois, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Lewis Ferrier and the late Eva Boring.
Mrs. Davis was a homemaker. She was Protestant by faith. She enjoyed ceramics and crafts, playing cards, sewing, reading and her grandchildren. She was an alumni of East Brady High School. A special Thank you to William Davis.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Lewis E. Davis whom she marriage on April 4, 1979, and by two daughters, Mrs. Ross (Carol) Franzen of Apple Valley, Minnesota, June Rice Chuba of Renfrew, Pennsylvania; two sons, Jack Rice of Butler, Pennsylvania, Joseph Rice of Huntington Beach, California; three step-daughters, Mrs. Henry (Carol) Twentier of Butler, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Michael (Kathy) Kondos of Butler, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Kinneth (Donna) Kirk of Jay, Florida; three step-sons, Raymond Davis of Butler, Pennsylvania, Lewis G. Davis of West Sunbury, Pennsylvania, William Davis of Butler, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, a number of step-grandchildren, a number of step-great-grandchildren, a special granddaughter, Heather Connor of Butler, Pennsylvania, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, one sister, and two brothers.
